The artist of a webcomic I keep track of called Drowtales offers character cameos in his comic. I recently jumped at the opportunity to get a cameo, and I drew up a picture of my cameo's face. These were remarkably easy for me to paint, as I'd gotten all 12 of them painted in a day. as you can see, this is when I'd started to paint the base of the miniatures. the paints I used on the Grim Hammers are: Boltgun Metal (Leadbelcher) Badab Black (Nuln Oil) Vomit Brown (Tau Light Ochre) Chaos Black (Abbadon Black) Mythril Silver (Runefang Steel) Blazing Orange (Troll Slayer Orange) Vermin Brown (Skrag Brown) Disclaimer: it was so on purpose to give them ginger beards. try to guess how many freckles they have. Honestly. I just looked at the original image compared to your models being painted by yourself, and yours look a lot more pleasing. It's more vibrant, and it looks like the manufactures did it themselves. Outstanding job on the painting. The drawing is also decent. Well shaped head, good details on ears (I always screw up drawing ears), and the eyes are perfectly balanced and even. The pupils don't look all cross-eyed either, which is a plus. Loads of people make that mistake. Good strokes with the eyebrows too. More details, the better. It actually looks like hair, and not a filled in rectangle. Great job.

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

Work in progress: I need to add detail for the eye cameras, and gotta base him. Look closely, you can see the glow of his shield electronics. Oh don't worry, I'm just using poster tack so you can see the detail. Also, I know there's a defect on the shield, but I just couldn't be arsed to fix it. The Gun Drone needs a bit of glow on the guns before I call it finished. the glow on the shield was accomplished with: Black Primer, Skull White wash, Tamiya Acrylic Paint: X-23 Clear Blue layer, Chaos Black drybrush. The glow on his arm was accomplished with: Skull White drybrush, Guilliman Blue glaze

The idea behind it is using bits from different sets to cobble together an entirely new miniature. I have a list of what I used on my Deviant Art page.
