sounds great as well. Gauge thisd based on what we the =SB='ers say about it.

And multi-platform games? Maybe we can leave those out, and somehow base it on the corresponding platforms' fan club?

Yeah. But the question is do we really have enough people in each group to warrant separate sub-forums? And what happens with multi-platform games?

Just something to consider in the implementation process, I suppose.

Why not just make a sub-forum for multi-platform games? I have a feeling that most people on the forum play 3rd party games anyway. If we all play Sonic, then we're bound to have one game on multiple platforms. In all honesty, from what I observe on the board, I can see a lot going on in either something Sonic, Mario, or Pokemon. There might be a few CoD players out there, but other then that, I don't know.

I think it's a good idea, but I'm not sure it'll justify its own subforum. maybe a series of pinned topics would better suit.

why not break those topics down into genres then? We can have
-FPS (First person shooters)
-Fighting games
-Action/adventure (know a couple of titles that have 4-player co-op)
and so on and so forth.
That way, we won't have to worry about Sonic, Mario, what have you. It'll be right there, and people would know what goes where.

In the case of 4-player co-op, I know it'll have to be online play....

Because that'll be cluttered.

Which is kind of why I think we were taking the sub forum angle. As good as pinned topics are, you'll no doubt get to the point where there are so many they take up a while page on their own.

That's more or less why I lean towards a general use community gaming sub-forum. Non-console specific for now, and can be separated later if need be.

Agreed. I don't see the need to have multiple subforums for consoles right now, if we even decide to implement this.

So are you getting at just one sub-forum for gaming... including ALL games and not separated by platform or anything like that?

If that's what you're saying, then I agree.

That's what I think we should do.

Cakes: That's the idea, yes.

The threads inside are based around organising games with other members online so it doesn't really need to be split up much. Heck, G.U.N. Game Zone doesn't even have things split up by platform.

If it's a big deal, you can always place a tag at the front of a topic name (like [PS3], [Wii U], [Multi] etc.).
