The spider man movie last year was not as good as the originals... i don't get why lizard looked so humanoid.
A lot of the movies seem to be darkening and trying to bring some of the crazier edgier enemies into a more realistic design, The Joker was probably the prime example of this but it can be seen up and down Super Hollywood as well as some internet remakes, like the Mortal Kombat Youtube series that "humanized" a lot of bad guys like Barraka and Reptile in its initial preview trailer.

I think it's just a style or phase we're going through.

As for the Spiderman movie itself, for me it was alright. My main gripe is that the main actor doesn't fit the bill of Peter Parker at all, he did a solid job but Peter isn't supposed to be anything more than average in appearance and they wen't with the "sexy" choice to bring in more teens which I think wronged the character worse than any plot holes could have.

I also found out that Clash of the Titans is going to get another sequel.

I really want to know how on Earth their going to continue the series when all that made up the Greek mythology is dead. The only way I can think of it continueing is either being a prequel or using another mythology, which will likely just annoy me more.

Oh, yeah. That was pretty bad. I just...ick.

The first one was cool.

The second one was watchable.

We don't need a third.

Definitely the Blair Witch Project, pretty much you get to see a shaky camera the whole entire time and well to be honest with you gave me a terrible headache once when I tried to watch it. (I just wanted to see what the hype was about... I was extremely disappointed...) If memory serves me correct, I think I only liked the ending and even then it was nothing special. :\

Birdemic: Shock and Terror sucked pretty bad... that made it funny though. I know there are tons more but my mind is blank.

Another horrible movie that just came to mind is Teeth. I don't want to go into detail on how horrible it is, if you are curious just look it up. :V

To me...most "remakes" are just terrible. The reason I think this is because a lot of them are literally copying the previous original scene-for scene. The only difference typically being the actors skin color and a whole load of CGI effects thrown in to "upgrade" the predecessor.

^ Remakes are just utterly awful, I tend to find "re-imaginings" can be quite horrible too.

One of the worst films I watched was... Sharknado.

Enough said. Good lord... I laughed and a cringed and I wondered what the hell they were thinking especially since I am hearing rumblings, but dread to confirm it, that there is a sequel....

I'm pretty sure that movie was made intentionally bad. I mean, the name is Sharknado. It's SUPPOSED to be awful.

Oh I know that, but even though it was still made as an "eye roller" of a film it still was one of the worst films I've ever watched.

However, if I need to be "serious" and pick a film aiming high but totally missing the bar I'd have to say that weird one by M. Night Shamylan... what's it... the one about the trees were in a bad mood with humanity so killed us... God it was awful. As was the Village...

A rare few are alright if they have actually been re-made and not just carbon copied scene for scene and even line for line in some cases.

Sharknado...haha. It annoys me when any monster horror movie uses very cheap cgi for the monster. If it's a movie about a monster, then it's ALL about the monster. And if you have a cheaply animated shark thing flying around...then you've killed your own movie.

(I watched that movie deliberately expecting it to be bad, so I laughed at that instead)

Hahah LSN, don't get me wrong, I laughed at it a lot myself but you are so right a monster movie with a terribly done monster is just ruining the experience.

Oh!! I thought of a film I really disliked that most people seem to love: Les Misérables... Oh my God... let's just never watch that again. That film really made me dislike the musical (not that it was one of my favourites to begin with mind you).

I would agree with most of those, except maybe the green hornet one and the... well, a few. Meh, to each there own, I guess.

BUT for me, the first movie that really made me question if the director was drunk when he come up with the idea was Battle of Los Angeles (Do not confuse with the more popular and better "Battle: Los Angeles"). And I mean it, so much stuff in that movie never adds up. My biggest complain is how in the first 15 minutes they set up this idea of a man having time traveled to the future and half way into the movie he turns out to be a robot. It looks so weird, how could a general bring up time traveling stuff and later it's all a hoax. Other then that the effects are weird, the story is all over the place. I haven't seen it a good while so I might be wrong but it just left an impression on my head in terms of bad movies.
