Well I'm sure most of you do because of Sonic Adventure 2. Well I remember how popular they were in Jr. High School. They were very popular at the time and I needed new shoes so I actually found some in my size online and ordered some! It was pretty expensive because it was in British Pounds and tons of shipping costs to the United States but not too bad. The shoes themselves were 19.95 GBP and shipping was freaking 25 GBP equalling 66.95 in U.S. dollars. Most I've EVER spent on shoes but I've always wanted them and considering they don't even make them anymore I was ok with paying that much just once.

These are the ones I ordered:

I actually never knew they actually existed until recently. Then again I don't know what brands makes what shoes. Never checked.
They're actually really fun but I hate that I never have much time to practice and I can never find any perfect spots for beginners. I'm getting better at it though.

I just got another pair. Same style, different color.

Oh, nice! I like the darker orange. It goes nicely with the grey.

They do look pretty nice, yes. I'm not a huge fan of orange, so I prefer the other pair, but those do look pretty cool. xD;

I don't know where I'm going.
The only sport that I do that can kind of compare to this is snowboarding. I always wanted a summer sort of thing to do though, so I might pick two of these pairs up. Probably one to hit rails, and the other for swag style. You should toss that link in here. I'm interested in buying them. I actually haven't bought shoes in awhile.

I don't know, I've never snowboarded. Anyway, call me crazy but I bought another pair! :D This time a different style, the clean model. It was their first model. I love em equally stylistically. The scabs(models I got already) are great looking skate shoes but the clean model are nice and casual. The images don't really do them justice, they look kinda plain but they are quite handsome in person!

Thanks, I wanted Sand(brown) cleans but had to settle for white. I'm glad I got the whites though, they are very classy indeed. I think I will buy black laces for them though, to give it a little more contrast.

I'm currently working with some people to try to get Soap back in business... I'm planning on starting a petition and just spreading the word. Anyone willing to help?

Good idea! Contrast is always nice.

As for the petition...I'm not sure. Possibly!

Heak, I'd sign it. Pretty happenin' shoes to me but there's plenty of people already hurting themselves through skateboarding and BMX riding and etc, why not give 'em a pair of shoes to try! :D

How much did the second pair cost, The One Neo?

Wow the black ones are definitely my favorite, too bad I don't have enough money to invest in those shoes. Also petitions usually don't work, but since this is to get a company back in business it might work afterall. Have you started a petition yet Metallix?

No I'm trying to get my wording right. So far I've got this:

Quote:

Soap/grind shoes in general has a huge market, we just need to make the public aware of the fact that they exist. The right marketing could set these things on fire like they used to be in the late 90's. Everywhere I go with my Soaps people always ask me where they can get a pair. Unfortunately I have to tell them they don't make them anymore and they might get lucky and find some on eBay.

Soaps look like regular shoes and are some of the most comfortable shoes out there and are very stylish. “Humans love to slide,” says Morris, former CEO and inventor of Soap shoes and he is entirely correct! Soaps are the most fun I have ever had wearing shoes and I think others would agree. If you haven't watched the awesomeness of soaping in action, just youtube it!

I'm just trying to word it well so it will get more people interested in it. If you have any suggestions, feel free to give em here!

Well I snagged these up, which are probably the last few pair of new replacement grind plates left. Which is exciting and sad at the same time. I got some stuff that no one else probably has, yet once they're gone... They're gone...

They are the BBK grindplates. This is the 2nd grindplate created by soap. They were a lot lighter and had rounded edges for more technical grinds. Plus the Soap hole that makes it have less surface area. I'm just breaking em in and they seem a lot better.
