Well I'm sure most of you do because of Sonic Adventure 2. Well I remember how popular they were in Jr. High School. They were very popular at the time and I needed new shoes so I actually found some in my size online and ordered some! It was pretty expensive because it was in British Pounds and tons of shipping costs to the United States but not too bad. The shoes themselves were 19.95 GBP and shipping was freaking 25 GBP equalling 66.95 in U.S. dollars. Most I've EVER spent on shoes but I've always wanted them and considering they don't even make them anymore I was ok with paying that much just once.

These are the ones I ordered:

That's ridiculous! I'd never pay that much for shoes!

-orders seven pair-

They're not exactly in the Sonic fashion but I'd definitely wear them. Now I need to go checking around to get a pair like these myself. Thanks a lot, Neo. >:[

I usually only pay like $20 or $30 for shoes but this is one exception and I don't ever see myself paying that much again for shoes. I'm excited though! It's hard to find them in my size though. I got size 12 which fit but are snug so I usually go to 13. They usually only have them in 9s or lower.

Eh, Vans normally come around the 40-50 dollar pop. I used to like Jordans at a younger age but hundreds of dollars for shoes is just too much now. When I can get equally good shoes for a fraction of that.

I actually wouldn't wear them. Because I'd be tempted to grind railings and then I'd break my neck and that's that...

That's IT? That's RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP for our currency. Link me nao.

Shipping is an annoyance I agree, but flip it around; how much cool shit do us Brits have to buy from you lot? Eh? Eh? :P It's actually nice to hear this happen the other way around, lol!

And for the record, I've paid up to £60 on shoes before; I swear by DC's as they're just insanely comfortable and they last forever - so they're more an investment than anything else. That said, the most recent ones are getting ugly as feckery so I might have to resort to online shopping to get the beloved DC's I want.

I probably won't be grinding on rails but I'll find some nice curbs. :D

Yeah it's actually pretty good for shoes, it's just the shipping that made it ridiculously expensive. It was actually more for shipping than the shoes themselves. lol I usually just buy cheap Walmart, Payless, or Big 5 shoes.

Well I just received my Soaps! They are so much fun but I suck at it! I was a lot easier in my head but it's hard to land it perfectly in the center so it actually slides. I've just been doing curbs and concrete benches(those are the best) so far to get a feel for it. I've been thinking about doing a low hand rail though. Super awesome!!!

I object to your claims
I didn't even know those things were actual shoes until a few years ago. They look rather nice, Metallix. They look like the kind of shoes that would be good for parkour.

They make me over a half inch taller, I'm nearly 6'7" with them on. lol I have experimented on rails today. I can get them but it's hard, it's so easy for your feet to slide out from under you leaving your flat on your face. That hasn't happened to me yet but almost. lol I can't wait to get the balance thing mastered!

Yeah, I'll bet balancing on rails would be rather difficult at first. xD

As long as you're practicing by yourself, I hope you're wearing a helmet. I'd hate to lose our Emperor to head trauma. :x

BUT HOW APPROPRIATE FOR A ROBOT GRINDER TO RULE A ROBOT GRINDING KINGD- -shot-

But if I had the shoes, I'd be attempting to grind everything in sight as well, so I understand your fun. XD

You're braver than I am - I certainly wouldn't grind any rails. :P

Here's a video of people soaping, it's crazy how good they are. I got a practice rail coming in the mail this week so hopefully that will help me with rails. I don't want to start on some high hand rail. lol

I recently found a curb that others have used for skateboards that was prewaxed and I slid for days!! I just bought some wax, can't wait to wax up a curb and slide like a boss! :D

I actually never knew they actually existed until recently. Then again I don't know what brands makes what shoes. Never checked.

They're actually really fun but I hate that I never have much time to practice and I can never find any perfect spots for beginners. I'm getting better at it though.

I just got another pair. Same style, different color.
