Most of these characters couldn't even fit in a game on the same level as a high-speed Sonic level. Some aren't even alive or have been around ever. Not too much foundation to this. Merina - Owned by Excalibur Sonic Shahra - Gone, thank goodness. Honey - No character development or reference in any Sonic game. Simply added as a fighter. Tiara - lolwut. Same deal as Honey. Except she wasn't in any game. Her game got cancelled. Marine - plzno. I don't even remember her having any defining abilities at all. Amy & Tikal - Dat nospd. Not trying to bust your balls here but you've gotta provide a little more backbone or reasoning for your claims, dewd. :o |

Sorry OP but that roster is way too large with characters that shouldn't be in at all. If I had to choose on it would be simple: Sonic Shadow Tails Knuckles And Amy Rose IF she is awesome like she was on Advance 2, if she is the slow boring form that was in Adventure then no. |

Honestly speaking, I don't really have an ideal playable roster. It really depends upon what the story allows for, as I see it. The storyline lately has been extremely geared towards Sonic alone, so just playing as him has been working. In Sonic Heroes, playing as teams worked since the story did offer some slim explanation of why they were working together. About the 'worst' example is probably a few of the Tails missions in SA2, which feel randomly thrown in so that he isn't short on levels. So, as long as it works with the story, and as long as it doesn't play terribly, I don't really have any complaints. I like the Sonic style presented in more recent games best, but I've enjoyed some of the previous gameplay types too, such as the treasure hunting in SA/SA2. The mecha/shooter levels were all right, for those I played, but I never got overly interested in them. And then there's the realm of theoretical/potential forms of gameplay for characters... This is something I could go on about for quite a while, in particular for Tails, but I'll just leave this post as it is for the moment, haha. Edited by YamiShadow, Mar 11 2013, 08:49 AM.
