So everyone has got a favorite Sonic characters, the one that makes us keep following the Sonic series. But then theres the ones that make you go why SEGA why...? And as you watch or play you try to think up as many reasons this character should be scratched (nice way to put it) off the series. So please open up, who makes you feel this way or simalar and why. It's the fact that she cannot do anything for herself and is constantly getting kidnapped. She can't go two seconds without her needing to be saved by someone.

Anyway If any of the Cartoons count, my least favorite is Chris Thorndyke. I have few reasons tht i don't like him all that much but i'll give only one: his existence. I don't like this whole plotline of Sonic and friends transfering to Earth from his world, which having them rely on this kid and his family. What i've been noticing is the fact that he seems to have more screentime than the title character-is this Sonic X or Chris X?

Like seriously she is one of the most stuck up characters I know. 4.WHERE THE HECK DOES SHE KEEP THAT PIKO PIKO HAMMER!?!? She just magicualy pulls it out of no where, from behind her back. On second thought please no one tell my where she keeps that thing

On second thought please no one tell my where she keeps that thing I don't dislike Amy, but i guess i'll have to agree about her being annoying and just about dumb. Have you ever played Sonic Battle? Well don't, you won't stand Amy. Though that fourth one, about disliking her just because she has a piko piko hammer hiding in god knows where..you know, she's not the only character who keeps objects in places we don't know. For example, where does Sonic keep the emeralds? How does Knuckles keep a miniature master emerald when he has no pockets? From where the hell does Tails pull out his blaster in Sonic Battle? My point is, it's not a good reason for the least favorite character because if you didn't notice, nearly all of the main characters keep things in invisible places, not just Amy.

Sonic typifies the flippant, philosophically care-free alpha-male hero. He's loud, he's uber-talented and competitive (but he has no real passion for his skill), and most of the time his mood doesn't leave the "too cool, dude! --> let's kick his butt!" spectrum. As for dialogue, his repartee calls to mind a more juvenile Spider Man. Such is a valid character, a true cliche that's held fast through the last century or so--but I really can't stand him. Ugh talk about a useless sack of cat. Whenever I see him in games I'm just like "BIG WHY ARE YOU HERE?" I personally don't mind Princess Elise. Call me crazy, but I think she's regal and kinda pretty. I like her design, and her dress is fabulous. There's no mistaking that this is the princess of Soleana. It doesn't bother me that she just got captured a lot because I mean cmon. She's a princess, not a ninja, and not every fictional royal character can rip off their dress to reveal battle armor and instantly become a kick ass fighter, suddenly not needing any defense or assistance at all. Elise just isn't like that, she's just a regular, young princess. She can get annoying at times, but all characters have their annoying moments. But this isn't the thread for defending characters, so I'll stop there. Just thought I'd explain why I'm pretty much the ONLY person EVER who doesn't mind Elise.

You make some valid points-- yet I think Sonic not having a deep personality is just part of his character. Most people wouldn't like Sonic if he was so serious all the time, and he can be serious when he needs to be. The simplicity of his personality is what makes him unique.

Not that i'm implying that i don't like Sonic's personality in general, but the way he was presented in 06 was just awful and depressing at times.
