Everyone has an opion on music, but this is just for people who go for emo/rock/heavy metal/screamo and (my fave) alternative rock. So whats your opion. I think Linkin Park songs are awsome because I can relate to them in some sense and the sound of it's awsome. But you guys might have a diferent opion on this. So what is yours??

Alternative is also my favorite too :D. Out of thje options you have chose, my favorite would be either Paramore or linkin Park.

In all honesty, I'm not too fond of the big names in any of these genres. My top 5 bands are Zebrahead, Fireworks, Quiet Company, On My Honor, and La Dispute. Everyone on the forum knows what Zebrahead sounds like, so I don't need to let you all know what they sound like. Fireworks is an Indie Pop/Pop Punk band that released an album called Gospel in 2011. It's an amazing record. Everyone should give it a listen. Quiet Company is an Indie Pop band from Texas that isn't really heard of. They have really big indie influences, and those who like softer and more meaningful lyrics will get into them in a pinch. On My Honor is a Pop Punk/Powerpop band from Tennessee. They have no similar sound to popular acts like Blink-182 or Green Day, but it's Pop Punk nonetheless. La Dispute is the group that you guys would like on here. They're an emo/experimental group that has a completely new sound. Instead of singing or even screaming, the frontman shouts poetry that is accompanied by a heavier, more hardcore style of music. Comparing my preferred tastes in music, I can probably guess that people will have no idea what I'm talking about. With La Dispute though, I know you guys will most likely love them. Their songs Such Small Hands and King Park will give you the idea of what they sound like. I put my vote on Other. Linkin Park and Paramore are my favorites on that list though!
	Facebook \| Twitter \| YouTube Hey there party people! I started a gaming YouTube channel! I'll be posting all my latest vids in the signature. Keep up with them! Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

Flying Battery Act 1 Posts: 918 Group: C Rank Hero Member #12,994 Joined: May 25, 2012 Gender: Male Country: Canada Game Currently Playing: Final Fantasy X HD	I suppose Dead by April fits into this category. xD It's not overly heavy on screaming, but it does have some, and the odd song by them (Angels of Clarity, Two Faced) is in fact mostly screaming. The singing is so thoroughly laced with autotune that you almost can't hear the natural voice behind it, but I find a fairly interesting effect is produced by this, despite my generally not high opinion of autotune. And, of course, the guy who does the singing is also the guy who does the screaming, so his voice sounds terrible enough without autotune that you sort of accept it once you hear just one acoustic song by the band. What really pulled me into Dead by April was the lyrics, however. They're a blend of depressing, romantic, and uplifting, in varying degrees of each depending on the song.

I don't really like screamo (the 'singing' puts me off) but metal is good if done right. Like Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein - those are heavy metal bands that do it right and my favorites. I really can't stand music like Bring me the Horizon, Suicide Silence or Asking Alexandria - I tried to like it but no, metalcore/hardcore just isn't my thing. Bands that also deserve a mention are A Day To Remember, Muse, In Flames, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Limb Bizkit and Killswitch Engage. I'm more of an alternative/indie type of girl but I certainly don't mind some hard music. \|D

Come to think of it, I don't mind most metal bands, but not heavy metal and stuff.
