$399 for a PS4? That's not too bad. But to be honest, I am mainly looking forward to the Xbox 720. However, this is interesting so there is no doubt I will stay updated with more info. |

In my opinion Sony might be rushing its release a bit (i tough each console would come after 7-10 years of the release of the last one, and i really don't see what else could Sony really evolve of the PS3, other then being able to pack a computer extremely powered video card on the PS4, and probally making the PSN more resistant to hack, like Xbox Life is |

It has been 7 years since the PS3 released this holiday season. I would say they have waited awhile and much longer than previous generations have been which traditionally have been 5 years. There's lots they could do with more power as far as the OS is concerned with functionality and even with the games. It's not like they're releasing it any earlier than Nintendo or Microsoft(which will be on its 8th year this year). The only thing they're doing is unveiling it at their own press event so it gets all of the attention. |

Well all i would completely ask to Sony was to raise to security of the PSN, because my cousin was telling me that the PSN was hacked a few times, while the Xbox Life never had reports of hacking. But about the price i am expecting on my country to be around R$3000,00 upon its release what might be if you do the math: $1500,00 |

I think that the PS4 will be decent, I will probably get the Xbox 720 (or whatever it will be called) though because I prefer Xbox and if there is backwards compatibility I can play my 360 games, not to mention the fact that I can use my current XBL account. I haven't had a PlayStation console since PS2, I eventually just moved on to Xbox and didnt get a PS3, I still think the PS4 will be good though but since the PS3 and 360 are similar in ways (apart from exclusives and what not) I think this will be the same case for PS4 and 720. |

Posted this in Vul's original topic, but I'll just toss it here too. This would totally go against their original plans of waiting for Microsoft's announce first. Then again, I wouldn't put it past Sony. Current gen is starting to stagnate and even a reveal that's not ready for years would still move the pace forward. There's still a lot of potential left in these systems, but a lot of devs are starting to look towards more powerful tech so Sony making the jump soon would be wise. Also, I remember Sony said they were going to be doing sales/promotions in February/March for the 1 Year Anniversary of the Vita. The NA release date was Feb. 21st, so this could be Vita-related. Although, with how speculation is shaping up, it seems doubtful. |

According to rumors the price will be $399 US dollars at launch. Which is much cheaper than the PS3 launch and the same price as the Xbox 360. There have been leaked photos of the prototype controller but it's not know if they are real or not. Apparently it has a touch pad like the PS Vita and Move functionality built right into a traditional controller design. http://www.examiner.com/article/report-ps4-launch-price-significantly-cheaper-than-ps3 |

Must admit I'm interested on how much they will actually reveal tomorrow. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it will be mostly tech demos with a few games splashed in for good measure, I don't think we will get a price or official specs until sometime around E3. |

Yeah I don't know. It is intriguing how they focused heavily on Gran Turismo. We know GT6 has been in development for a long time now so I wonder if it'll be a PS4 title? If I were to speculate I'd say Final Fantasy Versus XIII and The Last Guardian have been moved to PS4 launch titles. I'd kinda expect and hope that Planetside 2 would also be a launch title. |
