I still kept them well up until I was maybe 15. Nowadays though I just can't sacrifice the brain cycles it takes to run four separate consciousnesses at once. They were all some pretty chill dudes though.

Though I did like to pretend a lot as a kid, I guess. Closest thing was pretending to play Pok�mon with my friends. I had the best Typhlosion EVER.

The only thing is that I would pretend I was the actual Pokemon, and if I was lucky, my parents would play along and be my trainer.

I have, and it all comes down to believe I have Sonic and friends with me, until I reached 13 years old or so. Maybe it was because I hadn't an easy childhood. Was often mobbed because my father was from Norway, and I tended to have quite the snappy mood. Still am, but at least I'm able to control such and have learned that everything doesn't have to be taken to serious. Yeah, I'm not proud of it, but yeah that's how I lived back in the days.
