Best/Worst Handheld Sonic Games?; TFR

Hydrocity Act 2 Posts: 116 Group: B Rank Adventurer Member #13,427 Joined: February 9, 2013 Gender: Male Xbox Live Gamertag: v aMaaZeD x Game Currently Playing: Sonic Adventure 2	I was thinking of a topic that I could create and this seems like a good idea since there is a lot of options and this hasn't been made for a while at least. So what is everyone's Best/Worst handheld Sonic game? The best for me is probably Sonic Rush. I thought it was very fun, fast paced and had a very good range of levels/bosses, I certainly enjoyed it. The Sonic Advance series was also good but I enjoyed Rush more. I didn't like Rush Adventure though. The worst is either Sonic Labyrinth for Sega Game Gear or Sonic Genesis for GBA. I thought Sonic Labyrinth was absolutely aweful, so slow, boring, dull and everything is just bad. I hate isometric views as a whole anyway (I didn't mind 3D Blast though). Sonic Genesis was just terrible, I don't have a clue how Sega managed to mess up on a port but they did, it was just a horrid port of Sonic 1.

Start Menu Posts: 4 Group: E Rank Adventurer Member #13,675 Joined: October 3, 2013	Probaly the 3DS version of Sonic Generations. Beat it in 2 days and the graphics weren't good, sometimes the rings graphics would glitch.

Well never played the older ones, but I did play the ones on DS and what not. If I must say, Best would be Sonic Rush Adventures. Simply cause I loved all that it did. Worst for me is Sonic Chronicles. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of a Sonic RPG and what not. Just...this could of gone better than it did, and its really short for a rpg.

Dimps really outdid themselves here, the level design was surprisingly good coming from them, and it felt like a 2D Sonic throwback done right, due to offering some familiar level tropes, yet fresh ones at the same time. Worst: Sonic Advance 2 or Sonic: Lost World 3DS: Advance 2's level design just pisses me the hell off due to emphasis on bottomless pits and only being able to enjoy the game as Cream, who absolutely breaks the game. Lost World is a poorly designed game and I can't stand the gyro controls, but its still got its share of enjoyable levels here and there. I guess it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

I had more fun playing this than any other handheld Sonic game by far. Worst: Sonic Labyrinth. I had such a huge problem playing this when I was younger mostly because of how slow it was. I only just recently went back to it and beat it.
