Super Meat Boy is hard, and at times, frustratingly hard. Then again, the game is designed, to be hard, so it's to be expected.

Another game that comes to mind that's hard is Dungeon Defenders. While on easy mode this game is quite easy, however, if you rack up the difficulty to Insane or Nightmare and it becomes a different story.

Yep.
Gah, Sonic Riders was just plain torture for me! I once sat down and for real, i tried to beat the entire story mode. I did just that, but it cost me plenty of tears, rage and loss of patience. I truly dislike the catchup system, and that one turn at Babylon Garden requests me to either drift in the most perfect way imaginable or go into the pit and make me give up hopes of winning the race.

Aside from Sonic games, there's also Half-Life. Not because it's difficult, it's because i get scared so many times, one can think i'm faking my scares..

Oh yeah Mega Man is quite a pain but unless you find the one you like best and play it over and over like what I did with 3-6 then it's not so bad. Mega Man 10 however is a pain in my large colon. Never tried the 9th.
The 8th had one part that would haunt me till the day I found out there was an easy mode. Its the one snowboarding part repeated in Wily's castle area. "Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!!!!!!"
Mega Man X and X2 are another set I've never gotten the chance to experiment with so those are hard to me as well.

Hmm, I always thought the original Metroid on the NES was hard as balls. I still can never beat it without using cheat codes.
I totally agree with you here. The original Metroid was too hard imo, I got lost a lot and just couldn't get the hang of it.

I also thought that GoW 1 on Insane solo was pretty tough, same with Halo: CE...
