I'll watch the trailer tomorrow night, when my internet is back to normal, but for the moment I'll say that I can't help but laugh at this. xD; Right as I'm about to finally get a PS3, they're releasing a teaser trailer for the PS4/Successor-console. And I was just about to settle in on the idea of being caught up on a company's console generations too, haha.

This would totally go against their original plans of waiting for Microsoft's announce first.

Then again, I wouldn't put it past Sony. Current gen is starting to stagnate and even a reveal that's not ready for years would still move the pace forward.

Also, I remember Sony said they were going to be doing sales/promotions in February/March for the 1 Year Anniversary of the system. The NA release date was Feb. 21st, so this could be Vita-related.

What?! They need to slow the heck down already! Seriously. Has Microsoft even hinted towards anything yet? Sony is really jumping the gun... AS USUAL.

This might answer a lot of questions.

http://gizmodo.com/5980759/wsj-yes-sony-will-announce-the-playstation-4-on-february-20th?utm_campaign=socialflow_gizmodo_twitter&utm_source=gizmodo_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

I don't know how reliable this is. But who knows.

Huh. Sony may not focus as much on graphics according to that article? Well, fine, I suppose. They need to change the design of their controller up I feel for the next generation at least. Make it actually worth 50 dollars.

Anyway, I'm focusing on getting a Wii U at the current moment, so it'll probably be a long time till, or if, I get a possible PS4. Maybe I'll get a PS3 for cheap though.

'focusing more on how people "interact with the machine" than the sheer hardware power of the system.'

Lol, this would be hilarious if only for the reactions of the Sony Fanboys that think graphical power is everything.

My guess is a Playstation 3 with player interaction.
Example.
Snow Toilet: Good morning PS3.
Playstation 3 1/2: Good Morning Snow Toilet.

Sounds good to me.

By the way. Graphics on any system really don't mean much to me. All PS3 games, yes even you Duke Forever, look the same to me. FPS games that is.
