Christmas is back again
|
After countless of hour's effort to reinstate the lobby, we can at last allow for our entrants to step on inside. The usual counter situated at the center, with two bartenders looking to serve drinks for the thirsty, and food for the hungry. Serve's a purpose seen as our combatants tend to vary in size and such a new room has been exclusively designed for those who wish to move around more openly, while yet have someone specifically serve out nutritious meals and the like. Each member are allowed to walk freely out in the outer yard, where I tend to observe each and ever individual who enters. But don't expect a handshake, I ain't never been much in favor of the mortal kinds. Now as for introductions.... What? It ain't my fault my other subordinates are late. Entertainment are meant to be in the arena, so do not think about making fuzz at the lobby. As we'll have a suitable location for up-starters like you. Exactly, we have our exclusive dungeon, and trust me, you don't wanna get your ass hauled down there. Welcome to the inter-round lobby! |

Aaron Saw Josh attempting to make a move. He grinned, and felt another kunai materialize in his hand. This would do. He didn't have to charge to maximum. Four would do. As he watched him get closer, he started to time his attack. This had to be perfect. One wrong move and he would face an enemy worse that his pal...the angry mob around the ring. |

Josh still headed towards Aaron, if he threw his kunais he would have to try and dodge them as they would fly back at him, though he didn't think it through, as his dark energy would drain rather quickly if he did shadow lift on all 4 kunais... |

Aaron then pushed josh back, and unleashed his 4 kunai throw. He hoped that Josh wouldn't have enough time to react and get hit by at least two out of the four kunai he slung at him. That would be a good start. |

the time being pushed knocked Josh dizzy for a mere moment, allowing two of the kunais to hit, but Josh managed to dodge one of them and shadow lifted the kunai back at him, hoping it would hit... ------------------- Dark charges left: IIIIX Kunai stab wound! |

Aaron saw the kunais hit, and narrowly dodged the third, which grazed his shirt, and where it went off to, no one knows. Well, except the crowd. It was bound to hit someone there..... Same with the fourth. However, Aaron didn't care. He had a hit on his hands, and wanted to keep it going. He summoned the SoA once again. "En Garde, Josh!!!!" Aaron said, assuming the samurai pose once again. |

Josh saw him summon the SoA and then he drew out his sword, he then had it in his defensive stance, but had an instinct someone might get mad from the kunais flying about... |

however Aaron knew that the SoA didn't get knocked out of his hands, but rather dissolved into the wind, leaving him to re-summon it. So If Josh did attack the sword, he could focre his hand to dissolve the blade. Aaron ran, and at the last moment jumped as high as he could over Josh's Triple Threat, and attempted a helm splitter again. |

Josh this time blocked it by aiming his sword upward, he knew that Aaron was going to try and pull that off again, and then tried to make Aaron dissolve it... |

Aaron fell flat on his face, the SoA dissolved. "Nice.." Aaron groaned as he stood up. He then prepared to dodge Josh's next attack, whatever that may be. He hoped that it wasn't a dark gaia attack. |

Josh then created a shadow mine and set it down where he was, which was at the near center of the arena, he then brandished his sword in a defensive manor again in case Aaron might throw another kunai... ------------ Dark charges left: IIIXX |

Aaron grinned, and then held out his entire arm. The blue arm cannon materialized all around it. He now had the buster equipped. "Going that way, i see." Aaron began to charge the cannon. Now to do something about that shadow mine. Buster Charge: Stage 1. |

Claru staggered beneath the force of his opponent's attack, sliding back a few steps as he held a hand to his mask. The internal systems seemed to have broken; large cracks spiderwebbed across his vision and a patch of empty blackness obscured all line of sight from his right eye. His head was ringing from the impact, and he was sure that his nose had started bleeding despite the mask's interior padding. "Fuh. Not bad," he said, "I don't know too many folks who can hit that hard." He lowered his hand, revealing the outward state of his mask. The center had buckled from the griffon's fists, and thin cracks had appeared through the metal plating. Even more amazingly, the section that the griffon had torn into with his claws earlier had shattered, shards of metal clinking off the lobby floor, allowing his right eye to be seen. He was now in his intended position, however; he had passed by the thing he was looking for during his initial charge, and his opponent's attack had pushed him right next to it. A small, square table, only big enough for two people to sit at. Like the other furnishings in the lobby, this one wasn't even bolted down. Claru wondered briefly if the organisers had left them like that on purpose, anticipating tactics like the one he was about to use. He gripped the table by its metal stand and hoisted it onto his shoulder, tabletop facing behind him. It wasn't anywhere nearly as heavy as the table he'd lifted when he'd first arrived, but his arm nevertheless began to ache from the strain of keeping it up. "Still," he continued, grasping the table leg with both hands, "Strength doesn't mean anything without the speed to back it up." He darted to the side, using the HERMES' thrusters to strafe around Tharros without breaking line of sight. Rolling the table off his shoulder, he swung it in an upside-down arc like a golf club towards his foe's side. Should it fail to hit, Claru intended to let it go at the peak of his swing, letting it go airborne in preparation for a recovery attack. Of course, if it DID hit, there probably wouldn't be much to worry about... |
