"And what about your boys causing a fuss? They seemed awfully cheerful when they came in. You should know some of them can't keep their lids shut when their alcohol level is too higher. They were talking about spirits, I think? Huh... I must of heard wrong... Did I?" He asked, his voice becoming more serious than sarcastic with his last two words. As well, his eye narrowed a bit as he waited for a reply.

She don't gotta like it though. Me on the other hand, I'm more concerned about the spirits around this area... As I recall, this town called for me to see if I can do something about their spirit problem... Turns out someone is summoning this spirits. I can taste the difference between naturally crossed over spirits and ones that have been summoned... No pun intended." He replied, to which he tossed back his hood which revealed his dark brown wavy hair and a black eye patch over his other eye. His hair didn't pass his chin, yet because of its curls it was hard to determine if his hair was actually longer than that. "I suggest you know who you're taking to before pinning me in the same social class as my partner. We're two different breeds... Literally."

They haven't told each other their names. However, he wasn't sure if he wanted to release that information to this man yet. Even though the guy could ask around and the town folks would tell him that they call him Ki the mushi master. Other than that the towns people didn't know the guy's real name.

I get your point, as I'm not quick to judge anyone. Not from what I've seen through my life time. So if a half-demon wants to become a demon then by all means, have at it... I warn you though, the line between playing hero and actually being a hero is thin. Its easy to cross over that line and become the villain of your story." He paused for a moment, then stands up and stretched a bit. "By the way, name's Ki. And you'd be who?"

He snapped his finger and suddenly the chair was moved back into its proper place, as if someone had kicked it to their certain spot. "I don't go around making offers like this, and to be honest, I wasn't offering my services. I was requesting that we form a team... You can sleep on it if you need to, but keep this mind while you dream... You don't wanna be on the other side of my fence." With that said Ki flopped his hood back over his head and headed out the back of the pub. He wasn't going to head far, he was simply taking the long way to Amber's shop. Also, he never entered her shop through the front, he always entered it through back.

Her heard the back door open in the other room. She perked up a bit, watching the doorway to see if it was actually Ki or not. "You're back... Had fun?" She comments when she saw him enter. He just shrugged a bit, tossing back the hood as he walked to her. "Feeding on spirits is never fun... I heard you had two encounters today. One of them resulted in a bit of violence." "It was nothing, really... We both saw this coming." She replied, to which she started to look over the earnings she made today. "Doesn't mean you had to hurl a guy like that. I recall keeping a low profile was your idea." "It still is, but I'm allowed to break that rule every now and then." She comments, smirking a bit as she teased him. "Right... Not like it matters anyways, it what you're thinking. Just because we move around a lot doesn't mean-" "Ki, I've heard this speech before-" "And you'll hear it as many times I as I need to remind you of the fact... Pack up, we're meeting up with the other guy you encountered today." "What!" She shouts, slamming her hand on the counter as her eyes raged with fury. "His name is Moloch, and I think he is the one summoning these spirits... This benefits both of us. I get my food while you get your serum. I can't live off of petty spirits and mushi. And you're becoming restless about this potion of yours. I never said we're staying with the guy. We're just using him. I have no doubt he'll do the same thing." She paused for a moment, knowing he was right about their current situation. "How do you know he'll agree?" "I have a hunch... I think me and him are somewhat similar, with major differences." "And they would be?" "Hes part demon." Upon hearing this her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Hes... That's perfect!" She nearly shouts, to which Ki just nods his head. "Like I said, it benefits both of us."

"We are in no small amount of danger, Eli. We are going to have to take a risk," he said. "What are you talking about?" Eli inquired. "The new occult shopkeeper, and her bodyguard. They are not what they seem, and I think they are onto our operation." He got out an inkwell and a brush, and started laying designs on the head of his axe. "They know the spirits are being summoned, and are hunting for the one responsible." "You," Eli clarified. "But it isn't." Moloch looked up at his axe, digging out three more runed spheres from deep within his satchel. "I will need you to set an ambush earlier, with some of the men. Come here." Eli obliged him, and Moloch slit Eli's hand with a silver knife. Moloch held the spheres to the cut hand for a while, then drew them away. There was no blood on the metal, though, as if they had drank it. "There, it's done. You can use these spheres to summon and control spirit creatures stronger than we've brought down before," he explained. "S-stronger? This... this is serious, then," Eli said, his eyes wide. "I trust you. Once we pull this off, we will truly own this town. I do not tolerate threats to my plans..." Moloch fell silent, and went back to painting the runic design onto his axe.

He was gone from the shop, which is what Amber expected. She got to work and setup her shop once more. Making sure everything was in order. Meanwhile, Ki sat in a tree, resting on one of it's branches. He wasn't too far from the outskirts of the town. He was waiting for something it seemed. Waiting for the next attack. On the other hand, he was playing with a mushi in one of his hands. Most people couldn't see mushi. So it would look like he was playing with the air.
