This sounds like the Sonic game I have been longing for. If it comes to beautiful fruition, I will give SEGA every cent I own. I'd gladly be able to spoil the guts of the game here but the link has all the information you'd need. I'll let you smile ear-to-ear while you read it. Hopefully I'm not getting too excited. Once it's announced, I'll be all-in. For now, let's hope it doesn't get cancelled. DX

To be honest, I think the whole 'ten playable characters' thing is a bit too good to be true, among some other things, but it would be nice if this game does happen to be real.

I sincerely hope this is true. xD Now all I need is confirmation that it is, and confirmation that it isn't an SA3 (I'd love an SA3, but I honestly think the present story writing team would ruin it for me), and I'll be overjoyed. This is possibly the most exciting video game news to reach my ears since Pokemon X and Y. I'll likely be going for the PC version, or perhaps the PS3 version, as I intend to have a PS3 long before then.

In retrospect, no, I suppose you aren't the only one at this point. But, then, I'll be hopeful for the moment. A one-month hype for nothing can't be too bad, haha. At least it'll get me back into the mood for Sonic games, if nothing else. I do think it fair to say that a Sonic game might be announced fairly soon, though. Sonic Generations was released in 2011, after all.

And am I the only one who doesn't see this game concept as too far-fetched or difficult for them to do? To me, the concept seems kinda on the "fairly simple" side of the spectrum and the idea doesn't seem too out there. But maybe that's just me...?

I think they could do it, definitely, but I'm having some doubts that they would, considering the shorter/more relaxed direction they took with Colours and Generations.
