So, judging from Talancir's post, further Loser's Bracket matches will be topic'd and have set arenas now or..? Not sure, but we might as well keep the ball rolling on the tournament. |

right, right, where was I...? ok, so the current match between Aaron and Lifio is over. Timeout policy is in effect, and these two will need to be judged on their performance. Let's see... TKC and Fenroar, would you mind being their judges? insofar as the arenas are concerned, let me take tomorrow and plan that out. |

Yeah. With the exception of myself and Cakes, all matches are still under a two week time limit for posting last I checked. Only reason we're exempt is because the Loser's Bracket has fallen so far behind in the first place. |

ok, now that judging is on the way (-ish), that'll give me some time to get things rolling for the new Loser's Bracket arenas. I should have something available when judging is complete. |

Alright, this shouldn't be too hard. Grades Grammar: Aaron: Need to work on your structure. You're a victim of using run-on sentences, having a couple grammar mistakes as well. Also, don't be lazy for battles. Write out Sword of Awesomeness, don't say SoA. Otherwise, not too bad. 6/10 Lifio: You did great in this category, nothing to complain about or notable. You were descriptive and said your actions well. 10/10 Entertainment Aaron and Lifio: Overall you provided entertainment with the posts you got, being about equal here. Although minor, posts 361 and 362 from you two just seemed like simple filler posts, you two ending up doing nothing because it turned into a brief waiting game. I didn't really like that, kinda frustrating me, because other then grammar I threw those out, as you guys didn't really do anything, taking up time and part of the battle. Keep it going. You're in a tournament, Aaron, don't just stop the action because 'Aaron's not the kind of guy.' Overall, it isn't that big of a deal. I'm just knacking the points off because you two weren't able to finish, which is a shame really. 8/10 Fair Play Aaron: Well, overall, there wasn't enough posts to exactly dissect apart. It's overall around equal. However, your last post. By choosing to jump over lifio(I assume you can't be jumping too much above Lif, as Aaron's a human, not sure if I'm missing something), Lif could have easily done something while you chose to make vulnerable, overall I felt like more time should have passed then you somehow jumping over her and then having the time to roundhouse kick her from behind. Otherwise, it was fair, though a bit odd where it seemed like you were surprised by Lifio's attack in one moment, only for you to be smiling in the next post and dodging it without too much effort. An 8/10 Lifio: You were fair. You took reasonable damage but Aaron also reasonably dodged your attacks. I give a 9/10. Adaptation to Environment Aaron: Well, neither of you really did much, as the battle didn't go on long enough for the attacks to really involve the crowd. However, Aaron, there still some situations where there's missed opportunities. The kunai you threw, the one that missed Lifio, would have likely hit the crowd. And you would be pretty close to the crowd with your jump at the end. Even if the battle didn't go on long, there's always room for environment interaction. You could have at least acknowledged the crowd. 7/10 Lifio: Like Aaron, the battle didn't go on long enough for anything big to actually happen with the crowd. You did better here though, actually acknowledging the crowd when you did your ice attack, ice shards hitting them. An 8/10. Results Aaron: 29/40 Lifio: 35/40 Lifio wins! Congrats and good luck in the next round if the judge approves too! Thank you for participating in the tournament, Aaron, if my picks end up being final! |

Turns out I was a bit busier than I anticipated, lol. I'm deeply sorry for the delay on my judging but here goes it: Grammar Aaron: Multiple grammar errors and lack of detail. Hate to be harsh but you needed to work on this area. 5/10 Lifio: No complaints. I think I might have seen one grammar error but it was near-perfect regardless. Good bits of structure and responses when you didn't have too much to go on. 9/10 Entertainment Aaron/Lifio: I've decided to class you both together as well simply because it was an equally slow fight for both sides with numerous short posts that brought the fight's pace altogether. Not much I can say on this. 6/10 Fair Play Aaron: Seemed even overall, but it still seemed you were shocked yet still dodged somehow. 9/10 Lifio: Good show of Fair Play. Not much to be said. 10/10 Adaptation to Environment Aaron: You barely mentioned the crowd or environment at all. Like Fenroar said, the kunai you threw most likely skewed an audience member horribly.  But there wasn't much flow or heavy attacks to involve the audience, so I cut you some slack. 7/10Lifio: You at least mentioned the crowd when your ice attack but there wasn't much reference at all either. Given the length of the match, it's understandable. 8/10 Final Score Aaron: 27/40 Lifio: 33/40 If voting is counted fair, seems like Lifio is moving on. |
