My first system was the GameGear, if that doesn't count than it was the PSX.

What was the system that made you a gamer, or started gaming in your life?
Gonna dropkick it.

The first one that I played on was a Super Nintendo, but that was technically my dad's.

The first one I ever owned was the Gameboy Advance, and to this day I still think it's the best gaming choice I've ever made, in terms of consoles/handhelds. Basically all of the games I have (Twenty-ish) are all at least fun, and from emulation of other games I've discovered that it's fair to argue that about eight in ten GBA games were at least fun. So, yeah. xD The Gameboy Advance, which I still view as amazing.

Sega Genesis. Let me rephrase that;

Sega Genesis with Sonic and Knuckles included. That was what started me on gaming.

It was either the Genesis or the Saturn... I don't remember which one was my first but I know I had both...

I honestly don't remember my first system. I think it was either the Playstation, Dreamcast, or N64 because I played all three of those in my early childhood.

I played a Super Nintendo first, parents bought me a PlayStation, but the first console I ever purchased myself was a Gameboy Advanced. Or GameCube. Not sure which.

Christmas is back again

Sega Master System.
Think I've mentioned that in a previous thread. Bad controls however has had me put this up on the shelf, but I can honestly say, I still own it.
Adds a bit to my child memory.

Not much else to say about it, other then I spent loads of hours on it.

The Mega Drive/Genesis.

I got it as a Christmas present and it came boxed with Sonic 1. I liked the game very much, but I didn't consider myself a Sonic fan until several years later.

Rather unsurprisingly considering that I'm here, my first console was a SEGA Megadrive. Many happy childhood memories were centred around that thing.

By extension, my first ever game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I remember a time when I couldn't get past Chemical Plant on my own. My first time reaching Aquatic Ruin Zone was a major achievement at the time. I was so excited to find out what it was after the second stage. Kind of funny thinking back on it now.

My first handheld gaming unit was a Gameboy Colour, for which I received Pokémon Gold a few weeks prior to getting it. It was one of the see-through ones that were out at the time simply called 'Ice' I think. It was the coolest thing ever. Still got it up on my shelf, actually.

My first were 2, because of my big brother. Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis. Surprisingly, he kept the Genesis and sold the 64 at one point for some bucks.
Currently voicing Chris for SegaBridged's upcoming Sonic X Abridged series. Super stoked. Lots of talent in this group.

SNES. My first game was Super Mario World. However, as a kid, I played the N64 a lot more.
