So, I know there's already a topic about it, probably, somewhere in the dumps, but I wanted to bring this up a little differently. I'm looking for new LPers to watch on Youtube. I've been watching LPs since forever, but I'd love to see some new faces. Recently I found out about Game Grumps and they are one of my favorite LPers at the moment, they make me cry from laughter. I tried to watch PewdiePie on a few occations but I just can't seem to like him. So, what would you reccomend? Or what do you watch? What are your favorites? |

Ok...here's who i watch: Chuggaconroy (Recent works--Kirby's Epic Yarn, Okamiden) Very good with commentary. Also check out the Runaway guys if you like Chuggaa. ClementJ642 (Recent works--Megaman Powered Up, Megaman 8 Demake) Also very good with commentary, is a fan of sonic (Namely Dr. Eggman), hates Sonic '06 with a PASSION. Please do not ask him to LP that game, because he already did it with BrianScratchComms. And that's it. The only LP'ers i watch. |

Huh. I don't watch many Let's plays. The only LPers I consistently watch are ChimneySwift11, who does a lot of pretty good minecraft videos, and Lordofthelosers01, who's a close friend of mine. Any others I watch are usually just to quickly see how something is done, or to watch the occasional speed run of some ridiculously hard platformers like IWBTG. It's also hard to recommend any without certain peaces of information, like what kinds of video games do you like? And do you watch LPs for the gameplay? Or for the commentary?

I watch the Yogscast, Kurtjmac, and Two Awesome Gamers. All three do Minecraft, but also play other games in their spare time. For example, Kurt loves Kerbal Space Program and Dirt, and is also engaged in a Tomb Raider series. TAG play lots of indie games you may not have heard of, and Yogscast originally started with WoW before doing whatever the hell they feel like(Fan Fridays are particularly good fun). If you want to check out someone who's just getting started however, shameless plug but you could always watch some stuff from yours truly. At the moment there's some Minecraft, Sonic 2, Sonic CD, and FTL but I am looking to expand out to other games - a FPS, a racing game, some more retro stuff... but yeah like I say I'm just starting out so I'm all up for feedback. I've been told I leave a lot of dead airtime so that's something I need to work on, but yeah come check me out xD |

Honestly if I would watch a LP for the gameplay, I mostly just look something up and watch something that piques my interest at that moment. Preferably, I watch a LP for its entertainment value; like it makes me laugh or I see a player struggle playing a game, I enjoy it. I don't really mind which game they're playing, as long as they have fun. Co-op games are a big plus, too. I dunno, it's hard to explain why you like to watch a LP. xP As of now, I watch SGBLikesToPlay, Two Best Friends Play/TheSw1tcher, Vash, BrainScratchComms and Dopelives (although I wouldn't really call him a LPer, but he's funny as fudge). I subscribed to you MoD, I'm interested to see your LPs.

Sadly, I don't watch Let's Plays anymore. I used to, thought they were really neat (and a good way to see if a game looked interesting before I bought it)... and then I saw a Let's Play series for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth when I was home alone for the weekend. Don't remember what channel the videos were on, but I was so intensely creeped out I ended up staying awake until sunrise. Those were the last Let's Plays I ever watched. Maybe I'll try again later... with something a little less creepy. Resident Evil, maybe?

I have but one, and already made a topic about it earlier. You can probably check em out through there. Video Game Awesome. VGA's, been doing playthrough's a long time. Also doing varied costumes. So they sometimes look the part. Other one's I could probably mention is The RadBrad Came to know him after seen Serious Sam 3. I loved it, but that's probably because I played it beforehand. |

I used to watch quite a few LPers (and even hilariously tried some of my own but stopped due to being awful... they're still unlisted on my Youtube) but these days I only watch the aforementioned Game Grumps and a few others, the most well-known probably being BikdipOnABus. He's pretty monotone honestly but he has some of the best reactions to things. Got like 15,000 subscribers. He's not for everyone though. |

Slowbeef I recommend Metroid Prime 3, Snatcher and Dead to Rights. Diabetus He really only has Battletoads and recently Super Mario Galaxy 2, but they are all excellent and hilarious. Psychedelic Eyeball For Prince of Persia, Kaizo Mario World, and his recent Puddle LP. Xaiter His Binding of Issac LP isn't really super ripe with humor, but entertaining nonetheless. And PewDiePie is utter garbage. |

I can think of two LPers, or LPer groups, worth watching. Hellfire Comms I watched SA2 through this group, and I have to say, I found the commentary actually added to the experience somewhat. xD It's awesome. Master of Darkness He's quite interesting to watch. xD Especially his Minecraft videos, funnily enough, since I've always been a bit more into Sonic than Minecraft. He also seems to really know his stuff when he Let's Plays, which is always a plus. So yeah, now he has some real advertisement on this thread, rather than just a shameless plug, haha. xD |

Yeah, they're very good! xD Ohh, another one I forgot before: Mayakanai65 I used to know her back on SSZF, so maybe my enjoying of her Let's Plays is partly through the glaze of friendship, but... xD Her Super Mario World one especially stands out to me, at the moment. |
