She soon fell to walking behind him in an orderly manner. I trust you, Ein. I realize this is not the Hensa I am familiar with. From that point, there were no more jokes or taunts from her. The effect of her silence, combined with her mask, was...unnerving. The light clatter of her skeletal feet against the ground added to the ominous aura she gave off. If it comes to a fight...I can just weaken them until they no longer stand...there is no need to kill when there is information to be gathered.

Hensa asked, yet it he didn't say who the question was for until he looked over his shoulder at Shift. For a moment Ein was at a lost as he looked at her. How far long are you? Ein thought for a moment. Did he think they were together, and she was with child? No, this Hensa would reduce himself to even asking something that didn't pertain to the mission at hand. Then it came to him. "Her condition looks worse than it is... She is still frighten by the experience... As I was the first time I realized I was vizard..." Ein comments, saying the last part a bit softer. Even though that memory wasn't his own, he still knew what it was like to be afraid of something you can't control, even more so when it was taking over you. "You should of brought her to me first." "She doesn't trust others so easily... And since your a captain, she thought you would end her life..." Ein answered again. He didn't like speaking for Shift, but it was the only way to conceal the truth for the moment. At least, so he thought. "Hensa!!" A voice shouts from their left. Ein's eyes widen as he saw who it was. It was himself, or rather his memory self. He was badly beaten, blood covered him as well as large slashes. Both Ein's stared each other down, both shocked and speechless as they continued to stare. "Ein... What is-" "Gaaaaah!!!" The memory Ein shouts as a sword pierced through his chest. He was then flung to the side as the attack rip his sword. Standing where Ein was Lilfate, or rather, Lilfate's persona, which was his character Kane. However, Kane had an evil grin as his eyes glowed yellow. He had a look that thrust for blood. The real Ein grabbed his hilt, yet at the same time his hand was shaking. "I'll explain later, Hensa... Right now we need to survive this encounter-" "Where the hell is Electra!!" Kane roared, which confused Ein even more. This confused Hensa, and completely flattened any trust he had in anyone.

"I'm right here." She elbowed Kane harshly in the head, knocking him to the ground below. But there was no way he would stay down for long. She vanished once again and reappeared by Ein's side, now with her demonic blade in her hands. Soul's Blood. "Ein. I don't much like this situation. Is there any information you can fill me in on?"

With that said Ein vanished, reappearing elsewhere within the forest and soaring through the air from the momentum of his flash-stepping, something shinigamis used to flee or attack. At this point he didn't much care about Shift, seeing as she could get that close to Kane of all people and being him to his knees. "The hell is her problem..." Ein comments to himself, not sure if she had followed him or not. Suddenly he felt a powerful energy pressure weigh him down. He shout in pain as he dropped to the floor. Shinigamis aren't suppose to be affected this much by another shinigami's appearance. Then again, the situation wasn't normal. The pressure was lifted as quickly as it came. However, when Ein looked up, Kane was standing several feet in front of him, his eyes solid gold and his bankai weapon(weapon in the picture I provided), was out and radiating massive amounts of spirit energy. Kane's evil grin was also gone, his serious expression always scared Ein. "The yellow hedgehog... Where is she..." Kane asked, to which Ein just stared. What could he want with Electra? This didn't make any sense. "I won't ask again..." Kane adds, to which Ein just stared, trying to figure out just what he wanted with Electra. Could he be trying to protect her? Could they be in 'this' world setting?

Shift was behind Kane, her bow in her hands. She had yet to name it, but still... An arrow was pointed directly at Kane's heart. She tilted her head to the side. "We are looking for Electra as well. What do you want with her? What is she to you?"

He spoke, then raised his spirit energy which let out a power roar of energy, causing a gust of wind to whirl around him, nearly knocking down several trees next to him. This was his warning, other wise he'd attack. Took this time to form a plan, and vanished from sight while Shift talked with Kane. It would seem like Ein simply chickened out, but he had something up his sleeve.

Kane tells her, twirling his massive weapon a few times before bursting towards her in flight. He swung his massive weapon at her with fury and rage. This was very unlike Kane. As he attacked, his right eye was solid green, something really not right, and something the shinigamis knew very well as the madness rage.

Right before the weapon would have sliced through her she vanished. "Hmm...no...no, I don't. Ein tells me the same thing. The difference is, I choose not to listen at that time." As he moved to attack again, she vanished once more. I must end this quickly... "This fragment of you is not a worthy opponent. You are mad. But I shall put you out of your misery." As he roared and charged at her with a deadly attack, she made her bow appear and shot an arrow. In his rage, Kane might have hardly noticed it. Regardless, the arrow struck its mark: the twitching green eye. An explosion of blood followed, showering the crazed fragment and the area around him. If he swallowed enough blood, he would choke or drown. "Forgive me, Lilfate...but I could not keep dodging forever..." (( Sorry for the character control. = I But I like fighting too. ))

I was planning for him to die, just not in that manner xD) Ein appeared a few feet away from Shift, panting as if he was just in a fight. He had a few cuts and scraps but other wises he was fine. "Good, you took care of him. One less memory we need to rid of." He tells her, catching his breath. "Its worse than I thought, actually... Because Electra hasn't been extracted yet, this world still remains. However, its summoning different kinds of memories. Memories that aren't suppose to be... Like mine..." He tells Shift, as if he was in a hurry to explain. "Not to mention, these memories are being powered by this infection Electra has. And its spreading like wild fire. We need to find the source of it, and fast... Other wise we'll be killed here by these twisted memories that aren't suppose to be... I think Lilfate called them Unknowns..." Ein tells her, looking around as he spoke to her. "Find anything out from Kane?" He finished with a question.

Shift replied coolly. She made her bow vanish and crossed her arms. "I think I have an idea as to why my memories were targeted through Electra. It must have been a place that I was investigating. Instead of being on the front lines most of the time, I was searching for a lair of Sednams. I must have found an important clue. I remember mixed excitement and urgency as I traveled back before...I suppose I was attacked. Those memories are now gone from my mind, and hidden in Electra. I must retrace my steps through my own memories in order to possibly find the source of the infection."

It didn't click, so he shrugged and moved closer to her. "Any ideas where we should start? After all, she is you... Somewhat... You mentioned something about a place she'd be heading to. Maybe we could start there..." He tells her, finding himself trying to repeat something she had said. Either way, it looked like they had their heading. All they needed to do was find Electra... Easier said than done, of course.

She didn't like the answer she had come up with, but... "The memory of my home." she said, slowly and carefully. "We can start there. But you must be very careful. I left it for a reason." She then started mumbling under her breath. Her eyes closed underneath her mask as she recited an old incantation that would allow her to take someone along whenever she "shifted" between worlds and planes of existence. Shift then held a hand out to Ein. "All right. I'm ready."

Sure, what could be worse then what he already went through. Then again, what could be worse he might find there. As it is, Shift is a very... Scary person. At least to Ein she was. He didn't like her for several reason, one of them being he doesn't like anyone. The others were simply her character and what she was... Which to be honest no knew, save for Lilfate. Even when he asked Lilfate he never gave him a answer. "I suggest we bring more people with us... I don't like that we're going to a world that we don't monitor, let alone going to a world you left for reasons I really don't want to know... Also, the last thing we need to for your world to get infected with this Madness stuff... In short, I'm not going until we get one more person-" "Where you guys going?" Ein nearly jumped as he head Lilfate's voice. He sighs when he saw Lilfate and Hensa, the real Hensa. Ein decided to let Shift explain her plan to Lilfate.

She refrained from hugging him, but she waved cheerily. "Now we can go!" She then realized that he had asked a question. "We're going into a memory of my home world. You know that it's not accessible any other way. After...what happened there, it could be the source of many evil and dangerous things. Ein did not want to go with just the two of us, so I'm glad you both came. Oh-hold on." She muttered a few more words, adding on to her previous incantation. She then extended her skeletal hands. "I'm ready to shift. Don't let go." (( I'm thinking of adding to their history. Maybe that when Shift's world was..."affected" by what made her left, L found her as a young girl (I guess he'd be fairly young himself) and brought her home with him. ))
