They were quick, swift, and had long claw-like hands. Three claws on one hand, and their heads bared five spikes, or sharp horns that they used as weapons. Half of them decided to reveal themselves, while the other half remained cloaked in order to perform sneak attacks while they fought the ones that were visible. Saber remained by Taylor's side, while Cable and Able teamed up and took action. It was watching twins fight side by side, no need to shout orders or even look at each, they knew exactly what the other was thinking, or they have done this so many times it was like second nature to them. Saber felt similar about Taylor. Although they recently gotten closer than they ever have before, she felt confident in him, and knew these spirit-robots weren't even match for them.

	Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

She was defending Taylor, hacking down any of them that would come near them both. It was easy at first, until more seemed to show up out of thin air. Still, Taylor was doing a good job taking them at a steady pace. The question was, how long could they keep this up. The other question was, why was the Spirit Squad targeting Taylor in the first place? "Hey! Love birds! You gotta better plan than sticking around here and hoping we survive this endless attack!" "Yeah! Cause from where I'm standing, we take out one, two more show up!" Both Cable and Able spoke, Cable speaking first. This was true however. More continued to show up the more they seemed to be taken down. It wasn't an overwhelming tactic, but one that seemed to want them to slowly be beaten. It seemed like they wanted Taylor alive, so overwhelming would be bad, but forcing them to give up was more like their goal.

He left his sniper's stance and straightened, his voice becoming a resonant clarion as arcane designs started to glow on his coat. "Alright, creep, I can do this all night! Just so we both know it'll get you nowhere! So how about you come out from whatever rock you're hiding under, show yourself, and maybe we can negotiate?"

Saber asked, a bit confused at Taylor's words since she knew whom ever was behind this wouldn't be swayed by Taylor's words. Then again... "Hide and seek, prey... Hide and seek..." The robots spoke as one, speaking for the one controlling them. Cable and Able continued to fight, until finally Able formed an idea and instead of shredding threw one, he simply cut off its head and dragged the body closer to Cable for cover. After inspected it for a moment or two, he finally understood why they haven't encountered the person behind this attack. "I find this amusing... They sent a sniper to take out a sniper. These are sniper drones, distractions an cover-ups when preforming assassinations. Oddly enough, the snipe hasn't taken a single shot yet. Other wise his position would be given off to us..." "Teh, smart guy... Taylor, this person only wants you to find them. If we try to advance he'll bring more. If you go alone, we can hold them off until you deal with him. Since you're a sniper you'd know best where he'd be, so have at it." Cable tells him, moving closer to Saber and Taylor so once he left she wouldn't be overwhelmed.

He'd already come to the same conclusion, actually. And there were few things he hated more than giving his foe what he wanted. "I still think we can run this guy out of automata," he said, but at the inevitable glare from Cable, he'd relent. "Fine. I'll play it his way," he conceded, adding under his breath, "Jackass." But before a retort could be formed, Taylor jumped off the rooftop and darted into the woods. Of course, Taylor would muse, that's usually the best way to take out another sniper. Use your own. However, however concealed the enemy sniper may have been; there was one quality he could zero in on that couldn't be masked... if, as Taylor presumed, he was a living foe. So he'd cast his senses about, trying to pick up pockets of humanlike body heat as he darted among the trees. Not to mention, he had a few surprises in store...
