Earlier today, I managed to beat the Elite Four and the Champion. My first Hall of Fame team was Salamance (Lv 61), Sylveon (Lv 60), Lapras (Lv 61), Aegislash (Lv 60), Chesnaught (Lv 61) and (Mega) Charizard (Lv 60). So far in post-game I managed to...
lolspoilers

In other news, I also just started breeding. After spending all of the afternoon and part of the night hatching enough eggs, I got an Adamant Scyther. I plan on getting a Ditto soon in order to start breeding several Adamant Chespins for trading purposes.

Japanese Event.
The official site has revealed that during the special Jump Festa show in Japan on December 21st and December 22nd, as part of the Pokémon X & Y Battle Festival, they will be distributing the item, the Weakness Policy to all players. This item is able to be obtained in-game at the Battle Maison and raises the Attack of a Pokémon if hit by a super-effective move.

Just in case you don't regularly check the eShop (like me), the updates for X & Y have gone live. Should prompt you about an update for previously downloaded software having an update even if you've got the cart when you go in.

This fixes the Lumiose Save Glitch, even if your game has been effected by it, so you should totally grab it for piece of mind and/or to fix your game if you were one of the ones unfortunate enough to be affected by it.

It's weird seeing Nintendo patch things. This really is the future~

They had to patch Black and White shortly after its release too.

OMG someone managed to get into the games coding. theyre about to uncover everything we've never known!

three new pokemon are rumored

Quote:

Three more rumored pocket monsters may have been revealed for the Nintendo 3DS video games, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by Video Games Uncovered on Oct. 22, the Serebii.net website recently listed three more creatures following Zygarde.

The pocket monsters are named Diancie, Volcanion and Hoopa. Diancie is a rock and fairy type while Volcanion is categorized as a fire and water type. Hoopa was also listed as a ghost and physic creature. All three rumored pocket monsters are genderless and can’t be caught in the wild. You can check out an image of the listing, as well as some screenshots from “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” in the slideshow near the top of this article.

The aforementioned Zygarde is the third legendary monster to be added in the two handheld role-playing games. He can be found in the bottom floor of an optional dungeon after beating the main campaign.

Based on the rumored information, Diancie, Volcanion and Hoopa can’t be capture using normal methods. Nintendo could give these pocket monsters away as a special promotion down the line.

False Information.
Serebii doesn't have that information anywhere on there sites nor on any updates, If it was on the site then it has clearly been removed.
The three Pokemon names come from the search function in the GTS that recognised the three names when they were type in and you could request them as a trade target. But apparently these were removed with the latest patch.
I'm not saying that these are not Event Pokemon but at the moment they may also just be what remains of unused data.

Hoopa would be a strange name for a Pokemon, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see if these truly are either placeholder data, or event Pokemon. Maybe the names will change if they are event Pokemon who knows? :P I'll have to get the patch when I get home though, my girlfriend and I are currently dog sitting while her parents are out of town and I can't connect my 3DS to their wifi, I just don't feel like setting it up. :V

Sounds plausible as a Japanese name, at least. But it's not like silly names are unheard of. Wooper comes to mind.

I absolutely hate how when you trade with someone out of country, the other languages names stay with the Pokemon and you can't change them..random people have been giving me good trades for no reason but they are always from Japan :/

Well, yeah. That's how trading has always worked.

The solution? Use your traded mon to breed yourself a new one using a Ditto. You now have a brand new baby mon in your language of choice that you can name whatever you want.

If you already have two of the same species but in different languages, you then have all you need for the Masuda Method. So that's another plus.

So yesterday I completed the Triple battle run of the Battle Maison.
Must say that I fanboyed a little when I saw Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon appear at the same time and all stood next to each other.

This is my first time back in the pokemon series since yellow version, so I still have to learn all of the tricks. Thank you for the helpful advice!

The Pokemon names that were leaked before are indeed real and have apparently been confirmed as Event Pokemon, note that these are taken from someone that has supposedly hacked the game and therefore could turn out to be fake.

Huh, I'm rather curious why those two Pokemon in particular are getting Mega Forms. Hoenn remake confirmed? But aww, they both look identical.

According to warnings I been seeing throughout tumblr, here's a headsup, just in case. If true, which it sounds like it is, then it's an even bigger deal then the Lumiouse City glitch.

I guess we have another glitch/problem on our hands, this time with Wonder Trading.

Since the game has been hacked, there have been rumors going around that people have been sending hacked Pokemon over Wonder Trade.

The process goes smoothly, but once you actually recieve said hacked Pokemon, it turns into a “Mystery Egg”.

This “Mystery Egg” acts sort of like “Bad egg” from previous generations. Basically it’s an egg that can’t hatch. You can’t release it, trade it, or hatch it.

The difference between “Bad egg” and “Mystery egg”, though…

Mystery egg can multiply.

Mystery egg can corrupt the PC box that its in and end up corrupting the Pokemon within it if they’re not moved.

Here’s a video showing said “Mystery egg”.

Here’s a thread discussing what may cause these “Mystery eggs”.

According to the video, he didn’t actually get it from Wonder Trading, but going through the comments and some forum boards, some people HAVE been effected by Wonder Trading.

This is most likely due to corrupted Data that results in the egg being “created”.

If you have a mystery egg, here are some of the things you should/shouldn’t do (taken from the thread taken above):

1. Do not touch the egg! That means no checking moves, stats, anything. It may have an item attached, do not attempt to retrieve the item!

2. The box the bad egg is in is immediately QUARANTINED.

3. Immediately remove all Pokemon from the quarantined box. They can and WILL be corrupted if they remain in close proximity to the bad egg.

4. Do not , I repeat, DO NOT attempt to withdraw the egg. Do NOT attempt to hatch the egg.

5. Your primary goal is to save all your Pokemon from infection. Treat a bad egg like you would a zombie pathogen that spreads via air.

6. Your secondary goal is to avoid the Pokemon “——-“. At all costs.

I’m not saying you should avoid Wonder Trading, but be extra cautious.

Stay safe everyone!

And a video from a guy. Looking legitimate...
