Would it? Think about it. If they could be activated an infinite amount of times then what would be the point of making them a special transformation anyway, may have well just made them a standard evolution as there doesn't seem to be any negatives to transforming them so you are hardly going to stick with the basic form in battle.

You don't introduce a new feature like this and then expect a player not to use it at all during the game, lest they lose the ability forever. If the Torchic promotion that begins alongside the game's release is anything to go by some of these Mega Stones can't be acquired during normal gameplay. There are plenty of other theoretical limits these things can have on them. The lack of ability to use an item other than the Mega Stone is one. Another rumoured one was that you're limited to one in a party. A one use item for an evolution that reverts is stupid. If I'm going to consume an item in that fashion, the effects better be permanent or I'd better have a way to get more down the track. I'm thinking that the Mega Evolutions don't really make these Pok�mon super powerful. They'll probably readjust their stats to benefit them better in battle and their new ability changes the way they play. It effectively gives you two ways to play the one Pok�mon. Reap the benefits of their standard ability, or swap it out for something more useful in the current situation. At any rate, they're probably not reaching Arceus-like levels stat wise. IN ADDITION: By the way, remember when I said "that's probably just a special trainer" in response to the Pok�mon battles may be optional theory? Boosh. Though it's in another language, you can tell the trainer who asks the question is supposed to be one of your rivals. Optional rival battles have been a thing in the past, so nothin' new here.

And they all have Mega Evoutions! . . . O M G ! Oh and apparently Mega Evolution requires a connection between trainer and Pokemon. Other then that not much was given out. Pokemon Bank is an app that allows you to store Pokemon on the cloud. Pokemon Transporter is an add-on to Pokemon Bank that allows you to transfer Pokemon for B/W and B2/W2 to X/Y.

Mega Venusaur has the ability Thick Fat, Mega Charizard has the ability Drought and Mega Blastoise has the ability Mega Launcher which boosts its moves.

So the connection between you and your pokemon is the "important" for a Mega Evolution. And the bracelets activate them. Hmm.
