Stealing Talents!

Serebii recently updated with this little tidbit referring to the next Pokemon movie.
While some has said that it is unlikely that these will be next gen Pokemon it does make some sense that they would be heading in that direction soon seeing as how the anime is coming to the end of the Black/White story arc. Still, It's anybodies guess at this point. |

Actually i noticed something on pokemon movies, they aways have spoilers about the next gen. Also a small poster found on Japan few weeks ago, would show a few letters with collor and forms of the eeveelutions and eevee himself, altough the last letter had nothing refered to it and had a diferent color then all pokemons on the poster. Probally the next gen will be announced with the movie (same as gen IV) and via the poster we can expect a chance of a newer eeveelution being released along with it |

Lava Reef Act 1

Didn't Gen V start like, last year? I think we're supposed to wait at least three years between gens, so I won't expect anything huge until at least late '13, and no new gen to actually start until '14. |

Yes but, they have to make some progression, as, or they make remakes for 1 more year, or they start a newer gen so the anime can keep going, because the anime is almost getting to the end of best wishes, so they need something new. |

Gen V started in Japan at the end of 2010, so 2013 would mark 3 years. Plus they also normally start revealing stuff way in advance of the actually games being released. |

True. Geez, it just feels like Gen V was just released not that long ago, it feels weird to think a new Gen is coming already. |

Ack. I'm not sure how much more I could handle this. I mean... just how many generations and Pokemon are they going to have? I feel like they're going to have to ridiculously mix it up this time around, or else I'm probably going to stick with my planned hiatus from the series. I just fear that with this many generations and apparent new Pokemon, the overall series will turn into nothing but a cash cow. But I suppose it's too early to jump the gun saying it could be a new generation. |

You know what's funny? My friend who insists that Digimon is better than Pokémon (I personally don't like Digimon all that much) uses the argument that there are over 1,000 Digimon and they're still making more, meanwhile I'm like Wow uh okay we've got like 650 or so and the fans complain we have too many Personally I'm fine with any number of Mons, there are still a few animals and concepts I've yet to see. (where's my dolphin Mon already? :c ) And Pokémon is kind of a cash cow already. Just sayin'. :V |

Digimon though at least has a completely different story each time around. The large amounts of digimon make sense because they're so many different branches they could evolve in too, and again, the way they work is a different concept. Pokemon is just in a dire need to change its concept of gym badges, traveling the regions, some team taking over the region, et cetera. Hell, completely change the regions. After Black and White, I feel like the environments are even too much of the same. Sadly I find this much change too unlikely for Nintendo to actually do, seeing these have been the same blueprints since the very beginning of the series. Maybe they'll answer my prayers, I want them to, but that's doubtful. Not quite. But I feel like the any future Pokemon, at this rate because they're so many Pokemon classified into just a few categories, are just going to be possibly uglier versions then past Pokemon. |

I dunno, with the many spinoffs they've done where they have gone with a completely different formula, I think the staple "Pokémon League" concept is a requirement for the main games now. I did quite enjoy the twist it took in BW1, tho'. I do kinda agree that they should add a bit more variety with the regions' environments. I think the seasons system in BW was a step in the right direction, but aside from Hoenn, what with an active volcano, a desert, half the region being made up of water, a treehouse village, and a city hidden in a big rock in the middle of the sea, none of the regions were all that distinctive, and Sinnoh and Unova also had volcanoes and deserts... |

Geez, earlier this year I got Pokemon Black, and right when I turn around Pokemon Black 2 comes out. You would think they would come out with Pokemon Shappire or Pokemon Steel or Crystal since they have Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. @.@ I just spent my money on a 3DS and Paper Mario Sticker Star, I didn't even think to get the new Pokemon game.
