It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the clouds were huge and puffy, and the wind blew about in a gentle breeze. Heck-even if it wasn't a beautiful day, a certain blonde female hedgehog would still be happy. It could have been hailing for all she cared. "Fiiiiiiinally! It's vacation from that nuthouse they call cram school. And Aunt Hilda is out of town, so she won't be breathing down my neck. And since Sonic gave Robotnik such a beating last time, I doubt he'll attack the town today." She flopped down on the grassy hill with a sigh of contentment. The park was fairly empty today. Quiet. Peaceful. The girl's deep blue eyes studied the sky lazily. But the longer she lay there, the more she grew restless. "...Maybe I should check in on the others and train with Knuckles...my punches are still pretty shoddy. Then again, I don't really want to get up." She closed her eyes. "I'll only get up if there's an emergency. There's nothing wrong with laying down for five minutes." (( For the setting, I'm saying this takes place in spring. So, maybe April. )) (( I should mention that in my headcanon Electra is being "trained" by Sonic to help fight Robotnik. It's not like the Freedom Fighters of the Archie comics, though. She isn't necessarily friends with all of the canon characters, but she vaguely knows most of them. )) (( Electra's look has changed, but here's a picture:  Her "hair" is just composed of longer quills now. Thinner quills make up her "bangs", so you can see both of her eyes. Usually her "bangs" are hanging over a pair of see-through blue goggles she wears. (She's an extreme gear racer-in-training.) Her eyes are a deep medium blue. Her outfit is the same color as her eyes-maybe a shade lighter. They're like sweatpants, sort of, and a top that shows her midriff. Basically, she wears her racing gear as her casual outfit.  I guess sort of like Wave:  Hope that isn't too much to take in! ))

((Cool Character =) I must warn you from now, I'm extremely slow when it comes to RPing so it might take me a while to answer back at times.)) A few branches rustled in a nearby tree. It would seem to be the wind but in actuality, if one looked very closely, yellow glowing eyes could be seen within the leaves. A green wasp with yellow wings stared at the hedgehog, his mind buzzing with questions of why she would be here, who was she with and if she was an enemy. His thoughts were interrupted when he recognized a name she said aloud, "...Sonic?" GUN's files had mentioned that name before- 1,0574 times if he was correct. He never had any interactions with Sonic before and didn't quite understand GUN's problem with the hedgehog. Maybe this Sonic was against GUN like he was and if this yellow hedgehog was in alliance with him... Trying to satisfy his curiosity, Rail leaned in closer to hear more but the branch he was on creaked loudly and he froze suddenly wondering if she heard him. |

(( Thank you! ^^ And it's fine. I prefer quality over quantity any day. Besides-we all have our own pace. )) At first, she took the rustling of leaves to be the work of the gentle breeze. But the branch creaking? Now that was a different story. She sat up, blinking. There was only one tree relatively near her. "Argh, fine. Curiosity wins." She wandered over to the tree, peering up through the branches. She shaded her eyes from the sun. "Hello? Is someone there? C'mon, don't be shy. I'm pretty friendly." She smiled slightly, trying to coax the person out into the open. She liked being able to see whom she was speaking to. (( And now I leave for a while. Bye! )) |

Rail jumped down rather suddenly disturbing a mess of leaves that now floated down around him. His eyes locked on her, half-lidded as always yet unblinking. He quiet for just moment before he spoke. "You think of me... as an emergency?" |

The blonde she-hog jumped in surprise, her fur standing slightly on end. She looked rather embarrassed as she patted her fur back down. Get it together, Electra. You have better control over your electricity than that. Her ears perked up at the sound of his voice. She studied him curiously. He looked kind of tired, to be honest. And...he wasn't blinking...huh. "Oh, you heard me talking to myself? Yes, I said that I'd only get up for an emergency, but...I was curious about what made the branch creak. So, I guess you could say I'm curious about you." She paused to take a breath. He still hadn't blinked. Wow. "My name's Eliza, but mostly everyone calls me Electra. Then again, I prefer Electra...so, call me Electra. Who're you? I've never seen you before. Are you a bee like Charmy?" |

Electra lightly bopped her forehead with the palm of her right hand. "Of course! You're a wasp. Sorry for the confusion. I know some Mobians get upset when you call them by the wrong species. Especially ferrets and weasels. If you want some advice, never mix up ferrets and weasels." She scratched the back of her head, looking down at the wasp boy in front of her. She couldn't help it if there was a difference in height, could she? "Charmy's a sweet kid that works with Vector the Crocodile and Espio the Chameleon. He's a bee, like I said before. Together they make up Team Chaotix-they usually work with Knuckles the Echidna. Charmy can be really hyper though. Sometimes it's even too much for me to handle!" She chuckled to herself before breaking off, smiling ruefully. "I'm not sure if you recognize the names or not...Knuckles is the most well-known of the four. By the way, it's nice to meet you, Rail." |

"Nice... To meet you as well", he said slowly and seemingly unsure. He believed that to be the right way to respond but not many people said this to him. He straightened up again, gaining his colder demeanor back. "No, I have no info on the names you mentioned. Only Sonic, the blue hedgehog" He became silent again as he thought of all the information Electra had given him and his eyes shifted to look at the field behind her. Virus had informed him that one of the soul weapon's was hidden in the area. This place seemed so quiet and out of the way, a great place where no one would suspect such power to be, but now this hedgehog was here and she had friends around. Maybe they found it already. |

Almost as if he's never-never... The girl took a step back, startled. "Wait-are you a robot? Do you work for Robotnik? Is a day off from his crazy schemes really too much to ask for?" She regarded Rail warily. Luckily anything she'd spilled wasn't news to Robotnik... |

Being that he didn't know much of Eggman his thoughts went straight to Gerald Robotnik. "One of my creators worked with Robotnik some time ago... He would like me to find something he left here" His attention turned to Electra once again and he took another step forward until he was uncomfortably close. "It is important that I receive it" |

(( Would you like to bring them in, or should I? Admittedly, I don't have much experience with RPing G.U.N. ^^; )) Electra glared at first, ready to start sucking the energy out of the android. But then she remembered Shadow... The blonde she-hog's expression quickly grew a bit sad. "Look," she started, gently placing a hand against the wasp's chest. "I hope you mean Gerald Robotnik, and not Ivo Robotnik. Because if it's the second one, I'm going to have to stop you. But if it's the first one..." She paused, biting her lip. She had fairly sharp canines for a girl. "...If it's the first, I'll help you find what you're looking for. You strike me as a nice g-android, so...there's not a reason for me to stop you." She removed her hand. However, Rail might have "felt" a strange surge of energy from her touch... |

I have a few of characters that work for GUN)) "I do not know an Ivo", Rail said He wanted to ask if that was Gerald's son or brother when what seemed like bolt of energy shot though him. Rail froze momentarily and blinked twice as his systems adjusted back to their normal state of flux. The wasp had been zapped quite a few time before but this was different. "...What are you?" |

(( Okay then! ^^ )) Electra rubbed the back of her head again, looking up at the sky. "Well...it's hard to explain. I was born with the ability to manipulate electricity in objects around me, but I couldn't control it very well. Then, last year, I was captured in a surprise attack by Robotnik-or Eggman, as Sonic calls him. I wasn't the only Mobian captured, but I was the only one left behind. Robotnik discovered my powers when I tried to escape. He decided that, with a few tweaks, I could be used as a battery to power his machines. I was trapped from the beginning of August to the beginning of December." Here the blonde she-hog looked troubled. "I can't remember much from those months. I was in a coma-like state, but I could still feel. I was pushed to my limits constantly, I was injected with needles daily, and...I'm not sure what he did or how he did it...but I really did become a living battery. It's a weird mixture of electricity and Chaos energy; somehow, it's really powerful." "But I guess some good came out of it. Not only are my powers much stronger, but I can control them a ton easier now. I develop new abilities all the time! The only problem...I create new energy inside myself all of the time. It just keeps building up inside of me. So when I touch robots or androids, my power can leak out into them. Luckily, it's not harmful to you." Now the girl frowned, her ears falling in dismay. "Still...I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen. Transferring my energy seems to be instinctual now. So, to actually answer your question, I guess you could say that I'm a living battery." That phrase made her remember something, and she rolled her eyes. "Ugh. After the incident, G.U.N. wanted to run more tests on me. Luckily I didn't have to comply. I'm not sure if they hold a grudge over that or not...but if they ever found out what happened to me, I bet they'd use me just like Robotnik. I wouldn't put anything past those guys..." She scowled for a moment before smiling at Rail. "I know I've given you a lot to process, but didn't you want to find something?" (( I've debated having a twist in Electra's story, but I'm not sure when to make it happen. ))

Rail was obviously very interested in what she was saying. Hearing Electra's story made him recall that he was held for years by GUN with no info on what happened to him. He leaned forward, his eyes staring into hers the whole time. "Do not be sorry. I understand that it was not done on purpose" When GUN came up in her story, his demeanor remained unchanged but he noted their similarities. With that, he inferred that the hedgehog was someone he trust. Her question caused him to straighten up and close his eyes as if trying to gather his thoughts. "Yes. My creators and I were working on a project 18 years ago. When GUN took me, it seemed the remaining finished it. I was told it was hidden here." ((What kind of twist?)) |

The blonde she-hog wasn't sure if Rail understood the meaning of "personal space." Their faces were almost touching when he leaned forward. It was a bit of a relief when he straightened up-she had room to breathe again. "Huh. I never would've guessed that something like that would be buried in the park. Let's see...hidden as in buried? And is there any way to trace it?" (( The energy inside Electra isn't natural, obviously. So when she doesn't use it enough, it starts to make her sick. At some point, in order to keep her alive, her friends would actually have her become a synthetic life form like Shadow. Unfortunately, this would mean she wasn't technically "alive" anymore, which would make her pretty sad at times. I'm not sure if it'd be the severity of her sickness that would cause this drastic measure, or if she'd have an accident-like getting caught in an explosion, and the damage to her body is too severe to even try fixing. By the way, she may try to convince Rail to download a basic emotion program. "Try it, you might like it" sort of mentality. ))
