Angel Island Act 2 Posts: 50 Group: D Rank Adventurer Member #13,195 Joined: August 10, 2012 Game Currently Playing: Sonic Adventure	I have tried a few times to make a Sonic chao on SA2B but I always end up failing. I know you need to switch back and forth between Sonic and Shadow to keep it netural. I evolve it and it looks like a Green Sonic. I keep giving it run type things with Sonic but for some odd reason the spikes start to go up instead of staying down. What am I doing wrong?

Mushroom Hill Act 2 Posts: 525 Group: B Rank Knight Member #13,301 Joined: October 25, 2012	If it's spikes keep going up, that is a sign that you are using too much of the wrong type of drive. The types of drives that make it's spikes go up are Fly and Power. Try to lessen your use of those. You don't see it start to resemble Sonic until it's second evolution at age four. You need to be giving the chao primarily Run drives until then to see the full effect. If you'd like to increase the chao's other levels as well, I'd suggest Skeleton Dogs and Chao Fruits. That will increase all stats (primarily Run) without altering it's appearance. If you need more chao advice, feel free to let me know!

As Star stated, the full-on, rich blue Sonic Chao is actually a second evolution. What many people don't know is that after Chao undergo their initial evolutions, they go through a second, gradual transformation, depending on what kind of animal or drive you feed them, or if you feed them any at all. If you want a Sonic Chao, have a Chao evolve into the green neutral Run Chao and keep giving it run animals. It'll eventually start turning blue and resemble Sonic more and more, until it becomes the actual Sonic Chao. Hope I helped ya, sweetie. ^^
