Spoiler: click to toggle "...I dunno... Kinda looks like a cow or something." "Ha, right. Check out that one. I think it looks like, um..." "You?" The two officers laughter echoed throughout the cave. Surrounded by lamps and other equipment, it was obvious that some excavation had been done recently. The biggest clue of this was the newly dug ground and the large flat stone in front of them. On the stone were several faded scribbles, each image having a loose circle carved around it. "Keep it down. Don't want the cave to fall in on all of us do you?", A voice commanded causing the two to become silent. Walking toward them was a short round rabbit and next to her was a dark brown coyote with her hair pulled into a long ponytail. The officers turn to them suddenly and stood at attention. "Commander Mei, we were just guarding from in here, ma'am", the one on the left said quickly. Mei smirked as she stopped in front of them, "So I heard" The coyote half smiled at that then turned her attention back toward the two, "We'll take it from here" The two rushed away and Mei scoffed, "Humans… They'll let anyone join the ranks nowadays" The coyote frowned. She was listening but staring at the drawings on the ground. Mei continued, "I mean it Jade. I miss the days when this meant something". "What do you mean?" Jade glanced back at the rabbit, "This is pretty important isn't it?" "Wha, That?" She gestured to the rock, "That's a distraction to make us feel like we're doing something". Mei walked further into the cave but stopped where the light did, "We haven't done anything important besides clean up after that blue menace…" Jade rolled her eyes. She already knew this speech. "Sonic's not that bad-" "Not that bad-?!", Mei started again, "He's a vigilante who's destroyed city property on more than one occasion, not to mention those robot scraps he leaves us to clean up-" The coyote threw up her hands in exasperation, "Okay, you win. He's a menace", She muttered. Mei sighed heavily, "Let's just get this over with and get going. Please." Jade nodded and put her finger to her ear, turning on her headset. She listened for a moment then responded, "Jade here... Yes, I'm at the caves with Mei… No I don't think anyone's been here since it was reported". Mei made her way back over to the stone as Jade continued. She began to tap at one of the circles. "Not much. A rock with drawings on it ...I'll check", She looked to Mei, "What are the drawings of exactly?" "I don't know. Symbols?", the rabbit huffed, "Why don't you get one of the science people over here to analyze something" Suddenly the circle Mei was examining cracked then crumbled revealing a deep hole. Both of them fell so silent that the voice on the headset could be heard loud and clear. "Hello? Jade? Respond" "Call you back", Jade said quickly before pushing the button on her headset again. "Okay. There are still… One, two three four- Six left", Mei said standing Jade folded her arms and opened her mouth to speak but something she saw caused her to freeze. Mei raised her eyebrow at Jade then looked down. There was an orange glow coming from the hole in the stone. The light grew brighter and brighter until a flat orange gem floated up slowly eventually stopping at the rabbit's eye height. "What… Is that thing..?" Jade asked wide eyed. Mei stared and slowly reached out for it. She took a hold of the gem and a grin slowly appeared on her face, "Justice", she replied simply. Jade was confused but didn't have time to think before the cave began to shake. "W-we have to get out of here!" Mei didn't answer. "Mei!", She looked at her friend desperately. The other circles in the stone began to crumble and as they did, more of the strange gems began to float up. Soon, the other soldiers ran in. "The cave's going! We have to move out…" His voice trailed when he noticed the scene in front of them. "So sorry. You won't be going anywhere", the rabbit said coldly Jade acted quickly, putting her finger to her ear, "HQ-!" The headset buzzed and sparked causing Jade to hiss and toss it from her ear violently. She looked to the rabbit who was now coming toward them, the power from the emeralds lighting her maniacally. One of the soldiers gulped and pointed his gun at her. Before Jade could react he fired several times. The dust cleared. Mei wasn't there. "Chaos Control." She laughed from just outside the cave, "Comes in handy. Now if you don't mind I have some people to find." With that, the front of the cave gave way blocking the opening. The sudden rush of wind and dust put out the lamps, leaving the three trapped in complete darkness. Mei turned her back on the pile of rocks, a look of determination on her face. It was another gorgeous day. The sun was shining brightly, the clouds drifted slowly across the sky, and the breeze was the perfect temperature and strength. Then again, nearly any day where Electra could sit outside and relax on a grassy hill was gorgeous in her opinion. The blonde she-hog chuckled and stretched before returning her arms to their crossed position behind her head. Her eyes were closed as she blissfully enjoyed the moment. "Oh, man. This is awesome. It's such a beautiful day today...and I get to lay here and take it all in!" She sighed, in a state of utter enjoyment and relaxation. Too bad it wouldn't last for much longer. Electra's ears twitched as her sensory input data told her there was someone nearby. Someone labeled with the red 'enemy' color scheme. Someone she did not like at all. In a flash, Electra was on her feet, fangs bared, fists raised, and her blue eyes glowing brightly in anger. Relaxation mode was gone; now it was time for fighting mode. "Mei?! What are you doing here?! I swear, you're one of the reasons the world can't have nice things. You're ruining a perfect day!" Her voice was pretty bitter. Mei had once held a young, innocent girl hostage. Electra simply could not and would not forgive people like that. It was despicable. Her attention slowly shifted to what Mei was holding. Wait...a Chaos Emerald? No...that can't be right. There isn't an orange Chaos Emerald. A bit of uneasiness came over her. She felt a little...strange. Usually, being close to a Chaos Emerald acted as an energy boost for the she-hog. The positive energy always felt like basking in a refreshing ray of sunlight. But this... This felt like negative energy. Something palpable. Evil. Definitely not a Chaos Emerald. I better be on my guard. "I mean it, Mei." Electra warned. "I have no problems hitting a girl. Especially when she's as heartless as you." (( Electra's look has changed, but here's a picture:  Her "hair" is just composed of longer quills now. Thinner quills make up her "bangs", so you can see both of her eyes. Usually her "bangs" are hanging over a pair of see-through blue goggles she wears. (She's an extreme gear racer-in-training.) Her eyes are a deep medium blue. Her outfit is the same color as her eyes-maybe a shade lighter. They're like sweatpants, sort of, and a top that shows her midriff. Basically, she wears her racing gear as her casual outfit. Oh, and no Knuckles-esk hands/gloves. That was a mistake when I made her. My bad. ^^; I guess sort of like Wave:  Also, she is a sort of android. Her "blood" is blue, as is her tongue and blush. Trippy, huh? = P )) EDIT (( I just realized I assumed Electra was closest to Mei, because-for some reason-I thought the cave would be located just outside the park. My bad. ((@Shapeshiftress)) The rabbit chuckled darkly but stood in the same spot. Mei was always a cold person but she was acting completely different now. She seemed to revel in Electra's anger. "You're still upset about that girl aren't you? She was just a thief... A waste of space." Mei shrugged, "This world can't have nice things because of those like her..." The rabbit held out a her other hand which had another gem- this one dark red. "But we can change that, Wrath..." |

(( All right. = ] )) (( @jjordan )) Electra's fury spiked up another notch as her eyes gleamed brighter. "She is not a waste of space, and she will never be a waste of space!" the girl retorted hotly. It didn't help her anger that Mei seemed to twist her words around. It made the blonde she-hog want to facepalm in disgust. That is, until she saw what Mei was holding out to her. Unexpectedly, her stomach lurched; she started to feel very ill. Then she realized what Mei had said. "Okay, you're obviously not firing on all cylinders today. My name is Electra. Eliza. You know this. It's definitely not Wrath." Still...something wasn't right. She paused for a moment, activating her link she'd established with a computer easily accessible to Rail. He was someone she could count on. If not him...hopefully someone else she could count on.
Her transmission was interrupted as she winced. An unknown force was pressing into her mind. Take it.
Take it. Take the gem. To her horror, Electra could feel her systems being hacked by this mysterious force. But that was impossible! She couldn't be hacked! Not unless...
TAKE THE GEM. The girl's eyes were dimming to grey in fear as she saw her arm extend forward, her hand ready to grasp the gem. She started to panic.
As her fingers brushed the surface if the dark red gem, Electra felt an intense pain rack her body-especially her head. She grimaced and bared her fangs, squeezing her eyes shut.
Her internal scream would appear as a jumbled mass of frenzied binary code. But after that...silence. The girl stood still, the dark red gem clasped firmly in her left hand. At first, nothing happened. Then, ever so slowly, an evil grin appeared on her face. Her eyes shot open, revealing that they had taken on the same shade of red as the gem she held. "Jesus, Gluttony. Took you long enough. I gotta say, I like this host. Ugh-but what the Hell is she wearing?" The invader plucked at Electra's clothes disdainfully. "Yeah, that is definitely changing. But first things first..." An even wider grin spread across her face as her eyes gleamed malevolently. "How long before we get to cause some chaos, Gluttony? Wait-are the others nearby? High above in the sunny sky was a formidable and ancient warrior. Polemitis the griffin's large and powerful ivory feathered wings flapped occasionally to keep him at a steady altitude. Today seemed to be so relaxing, even for one who knew nothing but battle for his extensive life. The light and cool wind flowing through his short brown fur was satisfying. A small smile was even spread across his golden curved beak. He had been flying for hours and his wings needed a break. He swooped down and landed on a grassy hill a fair distance from the rabbit and the she-hog. His taloned feet dug themselves into the dirt and stretched his body out with a deep exhalation. |

Vianesse Clark could kick herself. She had gotten herself lost, again. All because she hadn't listened to Tori. Vianesse was a 20-year-old cat girl, with shiny black fur, long straight black hair and bright green eyes. She wore a casual purple velvet tracksuit, but she was starting to feel really hot under it from walking so much. "You're an idiot, Vianesse... I hope you know that," she muttered to herself as she walked on. She and Tori had traveled from their hometown to a new country. Tori had gotten transferred to a new military outpost and Vianesse, being her good friend, accompanied her. Besides, it was still Vianesse's dream to fight alongside Tori in the Secret Service. In the country they used to live in, Tori Sari was the president's right-hand gal. But when he turned out to be corrupt and Tori had to assassinate him, all hell broke loose. Luckily, she ran into Vianesse, who helped clear her name. Now the two were best friends, and Vianesse was currently going through all the training necessary to join Tori's ranks. You have it in you. You're excellent with a bow and arrow, and you're absolutely stunning with that longsword of your father's. And that peculiar ability you have? Hone it, and you'll be a natural triple-threat. You could be very useful to me... Tori Sari's voice rang through Vianesse's head as she remembered their last conversation. Vianesse shook her head. "Tori gave me one thing to do and I couldn't even do that right. Get the house key while she picked up the car, and meet her at the hotel. Simple! But I'm so stupid, stupid, stupid!" Vianesse was angry at herself now. She and Tori had to stay in a hotel for the night until the movers arrived with their truck full of belongings the next afternoon. But Vianesse had gotten side-tracked with all the shopping attractions and completely lost her way. Before she realized it she was on the outskirts of the city. Her phone had died, and with it, her GPS. She would turn around and ask directions but she knew from memory that the hotel was in another town--hopefully in the direction she was headed. She didn't know it, but she was actually headed in the complete wrong direction. She would call Tori to pick her up with the car... But her phone was dead! The only reason she was in that town in the first place was to retrieve the house key from the land lord, who lived there. And now it looked like she would have to turn back. "Ugh, most shops will probably be closed by then! And I wouldn't be able to charge my phone... Hey, why are there people way out here? Oh well, I'll consider this luck... Maybe I can ask for directions." Vianesse spotted a rabbit and she-hog engaged in conversation. She was too far away to hear, but as she approached them she got an acute sense of uneasiness in her stomach. When she got close enough, she addressed them. "Excuse me, I am so sorry. My name is Vianesse. I'm new to the country... I know right? Crazy. Anyways I was supposed to meet a friend but I have no idea where I am... Could you help me out please?" she told them the name of the city she needed to find and waited, hoping one of them would have an answer. The last thing she needed while looking to be recruited by Tori was to have her think that she was irresponsible. So she needed to find her way soon before Tori noticed her absense, or else. |

Rad had a decent history with GUN. They never associated him with their missions but for something of this magnitude, they had to call for someone with skills to counter what they were going up against, not to mention that his cousin was also one of their best operatives. After being presented with the file they've compiled on the situation so far, Rad didn't have much to go on. "Seven of them...?" "Yes. Symbolizing the Seven Deadly Sins as presented by some religions. Lust, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony." "Gluttony's the one you found, correct? The one you lost your team to? What can you tell me about that one?" "She was one of ours. A rabbit. There's a picture of her in the file. She disappeared from the cave but some of our men are still trapped inside. Before we go any further, we need to get those men home. Their signal has become faint, but they're alive in there. "I'll go get them. This seems a bit high stakes. My cousin's an advent gunman, but I think I have someone better to help me out in mind..." ------------ Jin Riardos stood calmly on the edge of the cliff as his brother came to accompany him. After filling Jin in on the situation, the younger brother simply shook his head. "GUN isn't very smart, I'd say..." said the hedgehog with disappointment. "True, but this could be a serious problem. Plus, what if these gems work like Chaos Emeralds and someone combines the power of all seven? We don't know the limits of these, and I'd rather get this situation under control before it gets out of hand." "You've got a point... Let's move..." With that, the two hedgehogs set off for the coordinates provided by GUN. However, they weren't aware of the danger gathering outside of the cave. (After me providing mild detail because I had to rush. I'll introduce Viergo soon enough.) |

"...Losing control..? Help me..?' What was that all about..?" The sloth stretched in his chair and yawned then looked back at the computer with a bored expression. He didn't understand any of this and didn't want to but the wasp next to him, on the other hand, was staring at the screen intensely. "She is in trouble. We have to go. Now." The wasp turned and headed for the door and Sloth stood to his feet. "Who's in trouble? And why do I have to come?" When Rail didn't answer, Sloth hung his head in defeat and followed. He had a feeling that this was going to be trouble. ~~~~~~~~ The rabbit ran her hand through her hair cooly. "It would seem our teammates have found us. How nice of them to save us the trouble." Pointing in the direction toward some hills, she glanced at Wrath, "Find Pride and bring him here. And you, dear Lust..." She extended her hand, holding out a pink gem toward Vianesse, "This belongs to you." |

"I don't see why he can't just come here himself." Wrath muttered. "I mean, we naturally draw in our hosts. By the way, you are sooo lucky that my host doesn't like yours. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had a grip at all! Who the Hell doesn't have some form of hate in them nowadays?! Yeesh! Freaking lousy goody-two-shoes...makes me sick-" She noticed Gluttony's glare and rolled her eyes. "Ugh, fiiiiiiiiiine. I'm goin', I'm goin'." She used Chaos Control to warp close to Gluttony and take the yellow gem with a nasty grin. "But I get to see Pride first! Hah! He'll be easier to bring back this way." The parasite warped again. This time, she reappeared behind the griffin. "Special delivery!" she cackled, a nasty grin on her face. As the griffin turned to face her, she held the gem right in front of his eyes. (Okay, kinda confuzzled about the posting order and all, but I'm just gonna make a teeny tiny short little post so if someone has a problem with that they can take it up with me! ...Or I can just edit it, whatever. Anyways...) Vianesse looked at them curiously, as she was thoroughly confused. "Uhh... That... isn't mine. But it sure is pretty! Can I see it for a second?" her appreciation for shiny, pink things got the best of her and she snatched the gem from the rabbit's hand and admired it closely. "Oh and I said my name is Vianesse... Not... Lust... Whooo I feel weird..." Vianesse's words trailed off as she felt her forehead, wondering if she had caught a sudden fever from walking all day. The pink gem was clasped in her other hand tightly. "W-what is this supposed to--" Vianesse's words were barely audible. Sweat formed on her forehead and upper lip as she closed her eyes. She opened her mouth to scream, but found that the only voice she had was inside her head. Before fading away completely, she screeched inside her head, knowing no one could hear her, her silent scream for help: Toriiiiiiiiaaaaaa! When she opened her eyes again, she looked calm, confident. A smug smile adorned her face as she wiped the perspiration off. "Why thank you, Gluttony, darling. How can I ever repay you?" the one who was once Vianesse looked over her new host body. "Oh my. She is perfect! She did try to put up quite the fight though. It was futile. It's not like she or anyone is a match for my charms." Lust grinned and stretched, taking in the scenery and the air that looked and smelled like freedom. This is wonderful! |
