Oh, it's just all coming unraveled, isn't it.
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

Thanks once again guys! and Tress, I believe this chapter explains mostly everything now... Anyways, here is the next chapter! :D

Chapter 10: THE Enemy

Ting! Cling! Crash!

"Raaaah!!" Taylor's fury continued to rise as Lilfate seemed to be toying with him now. Each swing of his scythe-like staff missed it's mark. The most aggravating aspect was Lilfate's lack of fighting back. His twisted and evil smile beamed back at Taylor, as all he did was dodge and never attack back or even counter attack for that matter.

"What's wrong? Not fast enough to hit me? Ooooh, I thought you were the alpha memory. Ha! You don't even know what that is, do you? Or did you steal that phrase from someone else's memory." He paused his taunting for a moment as he began to dodge more, seeing as his words enraged Taylor even more.

"My boy, you really shouldn't be stealing memories from others... Oh wait, it can't be helped I guess... Ha, how pitiful-"

"Fight back and we'll see who is the pitiful one! Unless you can't because all you can do is wave that sword and create your dumb-ass characters!" Lilfate vanished from sight after dodging another swing, then quickly reappeared in front of Taylor while leaving a decent sized gap between them. With his smile still present, he shook his head and sighs, waving his hand dismissively.

"You're ruining my fun, Taylor... Besides, I'll start getting serious when you do. This isn't all you got... So when you're ready, show me your true strength. Then, I'll show you how weak you are compared to me." Taylor only narrowed his hateful eyes upon him, listening to every word as he tried to figure out the hidden meaning in what was said. Suddenly the flames covering Taylor vanished as he lowered his head. It was unclear if he was thinking, or preparing to do what Lilfate wanted him to do.

"...Banka-"

"Bwahahaha!!" Lilfate roared in laughter, taunting Taylor even more as he slapped his knee and laughed harder. After calming himself down quickly, he wipes a tear from his eye and chuckled a bit.

"Oh man. Goooood one, Taylor. Very good. Sorry to disappoint you, but that wont work. You're not a shinigami... You're actually above them, like me! So something as redundant as a 'bankai' form isn't present in your being. No, no. You have more control than that. More demand of power than that. You have the memories of countless people, giving you an endless amount of power... I didn't think I'd have to spit it out for you. Thought you'd be smart enough to figure it out by now... Oh well. Now that you know, give me everything-" Lilfate stopped as Taylor's body started to glow white. His smile spread across his face as he continued to watch Taylor. Black flames covered his body, but this time the flame's tongues were longer, and swayed at their own steady pace, regardless of the wind.

"Now we're talking..." Lilfate comments, sliding his feet into his fighting stance. A burst of energy roared from Taylor, making a haunting howling sound as harsh winds whipped about. Within seconds Taylor was in his face, swinging a black energy based scythe with incredible speed. Lilfate managed to dodge just in time, but he wasn't prepared for Taylor's next attack that came too quickly. A loud clash was heard as he lifted up his sword just in time to catch the scythe's blade. The tip of it was inches away from his neck. This only made Lilfate smirk as he noticed Taylor's power was awaking.

"At this rate, Lilfate will die within a minutes." Anti-Ezekail spoke, to which Anti-Pedruben just shrugged.

"I doubt it..." Anti-Josh voiced his opinion.

"Lilfate still hasn't unleashed his full power."

"Nor has Taylor... He is only using half of his awakening power. Lilfate will need to use every ounce of his power just to match Taylor, while Taylor will continue to rise in power and eventually overtake him." Anti-Pedruben tells them as they watched Taylor continue his assault, taking note that Lilfate was struggling more and more as Taylor advanced.

"Come on, Taylor!! Hit me already!!" Lilfate shouts as his eyes started to glow a gold color. Taylor continued to use his speed more than his strength, which Lilfate was too worried about dodging and blocking to figure this out. Finally, Taylor made an opening and used more strength then speed. Blood gushed from Lilfate's chest as he was rocketed through the air. He gagged in pain, coughing up blood as he quickly caught himself in mid-air and began panting while holding his chest. His eyes pulsated between his normal eye color and his glowing gold eyes, signalling that he was trying to maintain his power level with Taylor's.

"Teh... Not bad..." He comments, then wipes his chin as he stood upright. He closed his eyes as he smiled lightly, nervously.

"Time to get my head in the game..." He comments, then takes in a deep breath and slowly lets it out. His eyes flung open and revealed something that shocked everyone who was watching. Lilfate's right eye was a solid green color. His expression was even more twisted, filled with a psychotic vibe that only brought chills.

"Bankai... Fated Kingdom..." A loud explosion boomed from Lilfate, tossing everyone back expect Taylor who was only moved slightly. The wind force of the power being released was starting to rip apart the buildings near him. Within a matter of seconds this powerful force stopped, allowing silence to settle in. Once everyone regained themselves they looked towards Lilfate. It seemed like only his attire was changed, and his hair. He had a long ponytail reaching down to his lower back. He wore a thick blue cape, one that resembled royalty. His dark blue and yellow garments were shining in the sun, hints of gold trimmed his shirt and pants, while his arms and legs were clad in knight-like armor. The armor was white as snow, matching his large white ice-like blades. They had no hilt, just the blades glowing as Lilfate gripped them tightly. The blades were six feet long and generally massive in size. The bottom of the blades narrowed to a sharp point.

"His eye is green..." Ezekail starts off, knowing the other shinigamis around could hear him, as well as their anti-forms.

"Anyone with a green eye was presumed to be infected with the madness..."

"Assuming Lilfate is the reason for the madness to begin with, it is safe to say that he using the madness to give him more power." Josh explains, taking a blind swing here and simply stating his theory.

"Or worse... Lilfate was the first one to be infected, and managed to control the madness to the point of using it to give him power. However, most powers have a down fall. He must be reaching his limits, the green eye being a result of that." Rabid comments, to which the others looked at him a bit confused.

"It isn't impossible that Lilfate is just a pawn. This whole time we believed that Sednams was created by someone. What if we got it wrong? What if Sednams always existed?" Upon hearing this the others were rendered speechless.

"He was let out of his 'box' long before you could remember." Anti-Pedruben spoke up, drawing everyone's attention to him. Most of them didn't know he was way up their with Anti-Josh and Anti-Ezekail.

"Once phase two is complete, you'll find out who let the jack out his box... Lilfate isn't going to last very long." He adds, to which they switched their attention back to Lilfate and Taylor. This whole time the two of them didn't move. They remained where they were, staring each other down until the other one moved. Lilfate still seemed to be nervous, as if knowing he wasn't going to last very long. Taylor on the other hand wasn't even Taylor anymore. His entire appearance seemed to change. The black flames settled within him, turning him into a dark evil looking being.

"Teh... Lets get this over with-Gaaaaaah!!!" Lilfate suddenly shouts with horror. Everyone looked surprised as they saw a white blade pierce through Lilfate's chest. The sword was quickly pulled out, and suddenly swung with blinding speed. Lilfate was motionless. It was like his body didn't comprehend what just happened to him. Slowly his head started to move, to which it suddenly rolled off of his shoulders and dropped towards the streets below. His body followed afterward, revealing his killer which shocked everyone to their core. Pure white skin, long white hair, yellow haunting eyes, white katana, white hakama, and a white baggy v-neck short sleeve shirt.

"Teh... Pathetic..." His voice echoed in a haunting manner, complementing his evil smile. This was the one person no one was expecting to be here. The was the one person no one wanted to face.

"Enemy..." Rabid comments to himself with anger pouring through that single word. Enemy tilted his head as he looked at Rabid.

"Surprised? Heh! You're all dumber than I thought."

"Of course... Lilfate's anti-form-"

"Damn idiots... Don't even know a single damn thing..." Enemy cut Josh off. This made the hedgehog a bit angry at his insult. Instead of snapping back he traded his pride for answers, figuring Enemy was going to spell it our for them.

"If you think THAT low-life was Lilfate, you obviously can't tell a fake-persona from a real person. Not to mention who you really are your selves..." Enemy paused for a moment, taking in their confusion with a bit of delight.

"You're all fake..." He comments, to which they all stared sternly at him. Most of them believe he was simply trying to trick them, confusing them even more, yet at the same time they believed him. However, they needed more information than just three words.

"Its so stupid... The ones you've been fighting, your 'anti-forms' as you called them. They're more real than any of you put together. I brought them here, thinking they would be save from the madness that was spreading... Turns out I was wrong, for once... Or rather, he decided to change the plan on me and curse them by using some kind of memory bond bullshit..." His eyes shifted from person to person, noticing them didn't believe a single word he was saying. He rolled his eyes with annoyance.

"Fine, I'll prove it to you-"

"Ah-geh!" Ezekail's eyes widen as they stared into the heartless eyes of Enemy. His sword was plunged into the left side of his chest, where his heart should be.

"Don't worry... You're not real anyways..." Enemy tells him, feeling horrified eyes beam upon him as he pulled his sword out of him and watched as his body descend to the ground below. Didn't take long for his body to hit the ground and exploded into tiny particles.

"Darksider Ezekail... You still here?"

"Pretty much..." Anti-Ezekail replied to Enemy, smirking a bit as he knew what the purpose of this demonstration was.

"Without Lilfate, the Darksiders are no longer tied to you fake-personas... Seriously, since when did any of you wear kimonos..." He comments, smiling a bit more as he watched the particles slowly ascend to the sky.

"Every time you 'eliminated' a world by extracting everyone's memories, you sent their memories into one place... Memory Island... Every time you kill one of my Darksiders, you turned them into grains of memories... This entire place is built on the mind of one person, and you guys continued to feed him more and more... You idiots followed a fake-version of L on a crusade to turn every single world into one giant island... You were never the cure for the infection... You were the virus... Every time you set foot into a world you infected it with your very presence... Until you came along." He tells them, turning his head towards Taylor as his eyes glowed yellow.

"You were the only thing standing in the mad-man's way... I don't know how he did it, but he managed to send a savior... Just in case I failed... Teh, piece of shit didn't think I'd be able to do it... Whatever... The point is, you were created to stop this damn madness... But that fake piece of crap figured it out and stuck that damn thing in you." Clap! Enemy had appeared in front of Taylor in a blink of an eye. No one saw him move expect Taylor, who caught his arm as Enemy seemed to try and grab him.

"Teh... You think you're faster than me?" Enemy comments, eyeing Taylor with a evil smile. The two of them fixed their eyes on each other, Taylor waiting for Enemy to move while Enemy was taunting Taylor with glowing eyes. Finally Taylor's body jerked as he felt Enemy's hand rip through his chest. He didn't even react to this, nor did he have time to move his arm up to stop Enemy like he did just a moment ago.

"A little secret of mine you should know... The closer I am to someone, the faster I become..." With that said, Taylor's eyes widen as he felt a burning sensation in his chest. Suddenly Enemy ripped out a red and black stone from Taylor's chest, causing him to shout in pain as he leaped back and placed his hand on his chest where the hole is. Taylor's heart was racing as he felt something within him stir awake. It continued to move within his being, as if racing to surface to be unleashed. He quickly lifted his head as he heard a crunching sound. His eyes widen a bit as Enemy had crushed the stone that was in him.

"AAAHHHHHHH!!" Taylor screams in pain as a blue substance burst out of the hole in his chest. It was a thick liquid that seemed to have a mind of its own, as it howled loudly at Taylor before spreading out and covering him. Taylor screamed even more, his voice changing into a echoing roar.

"What the HELL did you do to him!!" Josh shouts and moved forward. However, Darksider Rabid stepped in front of him, daring him to move by narrowing his eyes. Josh remained where he was upon seeing the hostility in his eyes. He was angered and confused as Taylor continued to scream at the top of his lungs. The blue substance continue to engulf him, until finally it covered his whole body and started to form him into something else. Taylor was transformed into a dark blue statue. Engraved on it was a symbol, or rather a being of some kind. It looked to be human but more advance, like a guardian of some kind. It was a lot bigger than a human as well. The stone-like statue floated for a moment. It quickly dropped towards the streets below and landed with a loud boom. It didn't even crack upon hitting the pavement.

"Huh... Forgot about that cocoon part... Whatever..." Enemy comments, then turns around and smiles his evil smile as he flops down in a sitting position in midair.

"While we wait for the master key to open the door for us, let me explain the situation for you idiots... Lilfate, along with everyone else, has been captured by a deity of some kind... The deity is called Sednams, god of illusion and despair... The shape-shifting prince of madness. A long time ago, me and another person found his temple where he had been hidden away for centuries. We only found him because we managed to uncover it while exploring the Darksider realm. Then came you guys... Not you here in front of me, but the real you... They fought us in attempt to 'protect' the worlds from their evil halves. All thanks to Lilfate for not keeping his damn mouth shut. In their stupidity and lack of knowledge of the Darksider realm, they stumbled upon the temple and nearly awakened Sednams... Instead, they sealed it off and had Sednams's tomb moved into a place no one would ever look... Right under South Island Library... This is why they had patrols around South Island. But of course, the higher ups wouldn't tell them why patrolling that area was important. They figured the less your real selves knew the better... Only idiots think like that..." Enemy paused for a moment as he tried to keep calm. The next half of his speech pissed him off to no end.

"When they deiced to banish me and the other Darksiders to a god-forsaken spit of a world, they were one person short... Even though they imprisoned us, they forgot one important detail... I'm... NOT... Lilfate's Darksider-" Enemy's attention was fixed on the stone below him, hearing a large crack which caused his evil smile to return.

"Cutting to the short version... Lilfate's Darksider awakened Sednams... But his purpose for doing so is far worse than you could think of... Be happy I managed to escape that hellhole they put us in... Other wise you wouldn't be able to save your real selves..." The stone cracked even more. As well, a bright light-blue light was shining through the cracks in the stone. Pieces of the stone started to fall off, and suddenly it explodes as a beam of light shoots into the sky.

"Hang onto the something... Its about to get bump-" Boom! the sky shattered into millions of pieces as the world itself started to shake and crumble. Enemy continued to laugh the entire time, his evil voice matching the destruction going around them. Suddenly a large explosion thunders loudly, causing a ringing in everyone's ears and blocking them from hearing anything else. The world shook more violently by the second. Finally a blinding light engulfed them completely, smothering their very appearance into nothing but light...

"Huh!" Rabid uttered, hitting the ground that seemed to be soft yet firm enough to cause him a bit of pain. He slowly picked himself up from the ground while shaking his head to get his hearing back. Eventually the ringing slowly died down as he began to look around.

"What on earth is this?" Josh comments. He was on his feet already and looking at a large cave structure. It was nighttime with very little stars out. There weren't any clouds in the sky to block the stars, they were simply not there.

"The sand..." Rabid comments, looking at each grain as they glowed. He scooped some in his hand and carefully looked at it, realizing the grains were transparent with a blue sphere-like light glowing in it.

"They're... Memories..." He adds, to which he realized where they were now. However, it seemed like it was just him and Josh. Looking at the massive cave structure Rabid nods his head.

"Come on... Lets not keep Sednams waiting."

"But... What about Taylor, Enemy, and the anti... I mean, Darksiders...?" Josh asked as Rabid joined his side. After thinking for a moment Rabid shook his head.

"Our real selves are in there... And knowing myself, I wouldn't want my fake version waiting around to save my ass... We go in and give it our all, or die trying... We're already dead anyways. Or rather, we're not even suppose to exist... We're just memories..." He tells Josh, to which the hedgehog looked at the cave for a moment as he took in what Rabid said.

"Right... Into the heart of madness we go..."

The closer Rabid and Josh got, the louder the music was. Also, there were different color lights beaming through the holes in the cave-like structure. It looked like someone was having a party in there. The music shook the ground the closer you got.

"Is that... English?" Josh asked, noticing the song playing wasn't something he could understand.

"Sounds foreign... I did hear a few English words though... If this is a ritual, its by far the weirdest one I've seen..." Rabid comments, noticing the different symbols craved into the cave. They were standing at the mouth of the cave, the music blaring in their ears as they noticed the size of the cave. It was massive. Only a giant would be comfortable in such an enormous structure like this.

"Giant cave... Gulliver..." Rabid spoke to himself. His words were drowned out by the volume of the music. He could hear himself speaking though, and the more he thought the more it made sense.

"This isn't going to end well..."

"What!?" Josh shouts, trying to cover his ears because the music was booming in his head. His entire body shook whenever the bass hit.

"WELCOME, LADS!! COME ON IN!!" A voice boomed over the music. This was when Rabid had to cover his ears. The voice was louder than the music itself. Josh, who winced in pain a bit from the loud voice, looked towards Rabid as if regretting they ever walked in here. The human just nods his head, confirming that they have no other choice but to continue onward. The two of them made their way in, walking up a hill it seemed as they drew closer to the source of the sound. Once they reached the top their eyes widen. The inside of the cave was all metal, at least it looked like metal. This wasn't the shocking part though. What gave them chills was seeing themselves, as well as the others, inside see-through containers with wires and straps all over them. Electricity flowed all over the place, through the wires, dancing on top of them, bouncing off the walls, zipping and zapping every which way.

In the center was a large open area that was elevated above everything else. It was a large circular platform fixed on a pillar with floating metal stairs leading up to it. Rabid and Josh noticed something as well. The music wasn't as loud ever since they started to make their way down to the center of the cave. The two of them looked around as they cautiously walked towards the stairs.

"Shapeshiftress isn't here..." Rabid pointed out. Josh soon noticed this as well, taking one more look around to confirm this.

"Why wouldn't she be here?"

"Good question... Also, this cave goes deeper." Rabid informs him as he nods his head towards more pathways pass the large 'center piece' they were walking towards.

"Got any ideas on how to spring them free?" Josh asked. He himself didn't habe any idea where to begin. This entire place looked like one big death trap.

"Not yet... Lets deal with our host first." Rabid wasn't sure how things were going to play out at this point. As they started to walk up the stairs the feeling of doom and failure caused his heart to beat faster and faster. He was on edge, as well as Josh. They slowly reached the top and cautiously walked to the center.

"Gulliver... By Super Junior..." A voice spoke to them. Josh quickly spun around and readied for a fight while Rabid kept calm and faced the person slowly.

"That's the name of the song... Its my favorite so far..." Silence fell as the three of them looked at each other. Josh kept his focus on this person while trying to look at Rabid to see if he would make a move or not. Rabid remained silent and waited for their host to speak more.

"*Ahem* Well... This is awkward... Heh, I forgot my villain speech... Something about doom and gloom? Nah, maybe it was flowers and fluffy kittens... Nope, that's not it... Hairless mole rats? Blue foxes? Red rainbows. Never drying paint... Water proof water?" Josh's eye slightly twitched as he let his guard down a bit. He looked over towards Rabid and shrugged while displaying a 'what the heck' look. The human just returned his sights back to the odd looking being and cleared his throat.

"Start with your name..." Rabid spoke, drawing the being's attention to them. He thought for a while, then smiles and nods his head as he snapped his fingers.

"Right! My name! He-he, you can call me Sednams, prince of madness... Or some nonsense like that." He tells them, smiling a twisted psychotic smile. He then placed his finger to his mouth and started to think again.

"Hmm... What happens next? I can't really remember-Gaaaah!!" Sednams shouts as Rabid preformed a roundhouse kick to his head. A very strange reaction prevented Rabid from attacking any further. Sednams's entire body didn't move, only his head was sent spiraling towards the wall and soon smacked into it.

"Go! Get everyone out of here!" Rabid shouts to Josh. Snapping out of his shocked expression, Josh nods his head and hurried off towards the stairs. Before he could reach the first step it plummeted to the ground, forcing Josh to slid to halt and save himself from fall off the edge. He didn't remember being so high up, other wise he would of continued going despite the stairs falling.

"We have a problem..."

"A big problem, in fact." Rabid quickly comments as a large shadow was cast on them. Sednams was rising from ground, towering over the platform they were on. They could only see his head and half of his upper body, as well as his two hands floating above them

"HAHAHA! WHAT GREAT SPIRIT YOU HAVE, RABID!" His voice boomed as he spoke, shaking the platform they were standing on. The electricity around them began to flow into Sednams, causing his body to change into a blue color as it glowed.

"Rabid... Get down..." Josh tells him as his body starts to glow. Rabid turned around and noticed Josh was glowing. He didn't have time to ask or argue so he dove to ground when the hedgehog started to roar his battle cry. A beam of black and neon-purple light covered Josh as he continued to let out his shout. From his body formed a large being, roaring with a evil howl as it continued to form and build. It was growing bigger than Sednams himself, striking fear into his heart as he tried to match the beastly creature's size.

"Is that... Dark Gaia?" Rabid comments to himself. He suddenly rolled out the way as a large metal stone came crashing down. Josh's dark gaia beast was breaking the cave as it continued to grow. Soon, the top explodes as dark gaia gave another mighty roar that shook the sky. Sednams was only half the size of this large being, to which he leaped towards the beast with all his power balled into his fist. He was quickly smacked down onto the cave, causing more chunks of the cave to fall and crumble.

"Hey! Fight that psycho away from the cave! Or you'll kill us all!" Rabid shouts at the top of his lungs. Josh managed to hear him. While controlling the beast he grabbed Sednams's body and flung him aside. The large madness prince rolled about as his body bounced in the sand. Josh and dark gaia leaped out of the cave to pursue Sednams and continue their fight. Rabid looked around, hearing the sounds of different alarms going off.

"Damn it!" He shouts, knowing full well what this meant. He didn't have a lot of time left and needed to free everyone soon. An explosion within the cave shook the platform and knocked it off the pillar it was on. It slid towards the metal catwalk that held the containers everyone was in. Once it collide the human leaped off of it and rolled into the wall, shouting a bit in a pain as he tried to hurry to his feet. It didn't take him long to reach the first container which held Kammy. After quickly looking around the container, he found a hatch that would open it and free her. He quickly pulled on it which caused a hissing sound. The door flung open as Kammy dropped to the floor. She gasped for air and then coughed a bit as she started to wake up.

"Kammy! Kammy wake up! We gotta get everyone out-" Rabid heard more hissing sounds, to which all the other containers started to open. One by one they all fell out and had the same reaction as Kammy.

"That was unexpected..." He comments, then focused on getting Kammy up to her feet.

"Lilfate... Save Lilfate..." Kammy moan as she tried to regain herself. Rabid looked puzzled for a moment. He then realized Lilfate wasn't in these container either.

"Lilfate is tied up to some machine. That psychotic purple thing strapped him up to some bizarre device that turns his thoughts into reality. He's in the back." Rabid, the real Rabid wearing his black jacket, tells his shinigami self as he tried to stand up. With a quick nod, shinigami Rabid hurried off to the path he pointed out before. Before he could reach the path Josh's shinigami self slammed down in front of him and explodes into tiny particles. This caused him to leap back as he didn't know what to expect next. Before he could think of any thing else Sednams appeared in front of him in a puff of purple smoke and slammed his fist into his chest. Rabid's body jerked as he felt a burning sensation within him. Suddenly his entire body was jolted with electricity. He screamed in pain, but only for a moment as his body explodes into tiny particles. Sednams had no chance to celebrate his victory as a bullet suddenly burned through his head. His eyes went cross-side as he tried to look at the bullet hole. He laughed to himself as he body swayed a bit.

"Ah-ha... Bullet in brain don't play nice... Why he so meany gun? Why you hurl metal into me mind? I hate you now so I will die and hate no more... Soooo much data... Haha, there is only no data left now..." Once Sednams was done spewing his nonsense he took one final look at the real Rabid, the one who put the bullet in his head. He smiled, and suddenly explodes into purple dust. Suddenly the entire cave explodes into dust, and everything in it expect the crew that escaped from the containers.

"Lilfate!" Kammy shouts as she saw him strapped to a machine of some kind. Now that the cave was gone there was no walls hiding him. The machine looked alien, either that or it was way advance than any of them save seen. His eyes were wide and his pupils were so tiny. He looked like he was insane, his mouth moving as if he was mumbling but nothing came forth. His right eye would twitch every now and then, and his condition in general was poor. The group rushed over to him, trying to figure out how to free him.

"How do we free him!" Kammy shouts, tugging on different parts of the machine, figuring if she can't free him she'll break the machine instead.

"Kammy, calm down!" Rabid shouts, signalling Ezekail to hold her back before she makes things work. Kammy continued to fight as tears streamed down her face, to which Pianta and Pedruben had to help keep her away and calm her down. Finally Pianta embraced her as Kammy continued to cry into her chest.

"Rabid, please tell me we can get him out." Rabid didn't bother looking at Pianta. He was already frustrated with this entire ordeal, and now he was suddenly the tech expert.

"I think I may have an idea." Ezekail spoke for Rabid, to which he signaled Josh to help him out.

"Wait... Where did Fenroar go?" Rabid suddenly noticed the guy wasn't around. Suddenly they heard the sound of swords clashing and looked to their left. Fenroar was fighting an odd looking being. It looked like Sednams, only more human and dark with a long sword of some kind.

"DID YOU THINK I'M SO EASY TO KILL? AS LONG AS 'FATE' ALLOWS IT, I WILL NEVER DIE." Sednams's voice boomed over them, to which more madness minions started to formed in purple puffs of smoke. Their numbers continued to rise as the group began to surround and protect Lilfate.

"We gotta get him out of that thing." Fenroar comments as he slides towards them.

"Hahahahaha!!" An evil voice echoed from above. Suddenly Enemy lands in between the madness minion and the group, smiling his evil smile. Joining him were the other Darksiders, also dropping down from the sky. Within his hand was a odd looking orb. It looked like a large memory. The orb glowed brightly and soon pops into a mist, which swirled around and started to scoop up some of the grain-like memories. Within seconds, the anti-forms that were killed formed next to Enemy.

"Damn mirror face... Listen up! Free that pathetic loser, we'll take care of the rest." Enemy ordered, to which he unsheathed his sword and roared forward with speed, cutting down ten minions with one move. The other Darksiders followed his lead.

"Alright guys, protect Ezekail while he figures out a way to free..." Rabid suddenly paused for a moment. Everyone looked at him as his mind began to think. His eyes lowered to the floor as the continued to think.

"Rabid-" Pow! His gun went off as he quickly spun around and aimed for Lilfate's head. Blood oozed out of the bullet wound as Lilfate remained still. The machine exploded which hurled Lilfate through the air. The minions vanished as Lilfate rolled on the sand, a trail of blood following him.

"RABID!!" Kammy squealed in horror. She hurried towards Lilfate in a panic, her eyes filled with tears.

"Stop!" Rabid shouts as he fired another shot. The bullet hit the ground in front of her, forcing her stop as she rapidly turned her attention to Rabid.

"What the hell are you doing!?" Josh shouts. Rabid just remained silent, eyeing Lilfate's dead body as if waiting for something to happen. Suddenly the entire world changed within a blink of an eye. They were now in a all white area with traces of alien technology flowing under them.

"You figured it out..." A robotic voice states. They all fixed their attention on the speaker, which was a person wearing a motorcycle one-piece suit with an odd looking helmet.

"Its... No Data..." Ezekail comments. He was shocked, along with everyone else that is.

"Of course, you are aware that the person you murdered was in fact Lilfate." Rabid didn't reply to this. He switched his gaze from No Data over to Enemy.

"Teh... Not as dumb as I thought." Enemy comments.

"After receiving my shinigami's memory-bits, I realized this was becoming too easy. A single hatch opened not just one container, but all of them. Sednams's death with a single bullet. Enemy's arrival when we seemed to be overwhelmed... What gave you away, No Data, was Sednams's final words. 'There is only no data left now,' was what he said. Also, Enemy is the only one to call you mirror face, something he uttered when he arrived. I pieced together the puzzle with Enemy's story he told our shinigami selves. Lilfate's Darksider is actually No Data. The problem with your story was that three people knew about this. Lilfate, Shapeshiftress, and me. Your biggest mistake was thinking I was unaware of that fact..."

"Ha! Then I guess you also know that Lilfate can't die, much like Shapeshiftress can't die. Which is why you put a bullet in his head... Only this time, you're dead wrong." Enemy tells him, smirking evilly as his eyes started to glow yellow.

"Lilfate's ability to regenerate was consumed when we offered him to the queen of madness." No Data informs them, causing Rabid's heart to pound with pure rage as he realized he was telling the truth.

"Well now, from the look on your ugly face, I can tell you've already figured out why Shift isn't here... Or did you forget that in order to summon a goddess, you need a female vessel..." Kammy gasped upon hearing these words from Enemy. Shift was in trouble, but only Rabid knew the degree of danger she was in.

"Now that you've figured it out, why don't you spend the rest of your time playing with your Darksiders. I promise it'll be fun..." Enemy tells them. He snapped his fingers which signaled the Darksiders to block their path from Enemy and No Data.

"Dark-Shift, we're gonna need you for this one." He adds, to which Shift's Darksider joined No Data and Enemy as they started to walk away. No Data opened a portal and the trio vanished from sight once they entered it. Once it closed the group got ready to fight, everyone expect Rabid.

"Grab Lilfate's body, Fenroar... We're moving to plan zeta..." Upon hearing his words everyone was on edge, horrified even.

"Rabid... I don't-"

"We have no other choice... I've already killed him, this is the least I can do... We're stopping them, even if it means we all die here." He tells them, to which Fenroar slowly nods his head. He looked at Lilfate's body and sighs. He slowly walked towards his body with caution, looking towards the Darksiders to see if they'd stop him or not. It seemed their only mission was preventing them from leaving or trying to follow Enemy and No Data. Once Fenroar reach Lilfate he dropped to his knees and placed his hand on his chest. Sighing once more, he closed his eyes and began to focus.

"Dark Lord... Come forth..."

Holy crap.

I'm a sacrifice! 8 D

Wait...that's a bad thing. Right.

I was really surprised that I wasn't with everyone else. A goddess of madness? Very cool.

Now the question remains of whether Shift has already been possessed or not.

If she has, that's very bad news. = I Plus, I wonder how that would affect her brain. Probably not for the better, considering how she's already a bit nutty. = P

Also I love how Kammy reacts to everything whereas everyone else is kind of like, "Oh. Okay."

XD

Chapter 12...does that mean Chapter 13 will be an epilogue? = ] If it is, good numbering in that case.

I'm even more intrigued now, if that's possible.

I want the next chapter NOW. 8 P

Head's spinning, too much going on... but yeah, I kind of caught on to the appearance of the "No Data" persona about as soon as the mad thing mumbled its name.

But yeah, with too much going on, it'd be "act now, break down later; if there is a later."

Still want to snipe out my Bonehead just to spite 'em all, though, especially since he hasn't really done all that much.
