I object to your claims

I think this topic speaks for itself. What level really annoys you? What level is the one that makes you rage quit the game at times? This is the topic to rant about them. I should start this off with the ever classic Carnival Night Zone. And no, it's not The Barrel I have a problem with. That thing I think is only annoying when you don't know what to do. Once you figure it out, it becomes the easiest thing in the world to bypass. There are things that are far worse - like those stupid bumpers that send you back in narrow hallways so you are constantly trying to think of ways to get past but everything you try sends you backwards over and over again and you have to time things just right to get through. And even that doesn't really help you. There are other things I have an issue with, but that's one of the main things wrong with it to me. I also hate this one area where if you fall off a certain part, you end up being quite a ways back from where you had falling from. And since the game runs on a time limit, you can see how this can be rather annoying. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
Here are two more levels, both from Sonic 1 I find frustrating. Labyrinth Zone. Because it's mostly underwater, and those drill badniks I don't know the name of them. Also the boss chase at the end of act 3 was pretty frustrating. Also Scrap Brain Zone. I find mostly frustrating of Sonic 1. The red and white hatches what open up causing Sonic to fall to his death. Spinning little platforms Especially act 2. The electric generators, broken flame spewing pipes. And those circular saws on the conveyor belts. It's my most hated zone of Sonic 1. |

Planet Wisp from generatios? Really? I've never had problems with it but i have to admit the top route is a pain to get to on modern. On classic you can cut half of the last section by taking a higher route so it is kinda easy in my opnion Anyway another one i hate is death chamber from sa2, because sometimes the radar itself tricks you to the location of the emeralds Edited by Silver Miles, Mar 25 2013, 02:49 PM.

Yes. If there's one thing I can count on with Sonic games, it's that even if the stage is frustrating, the music will still be enjoyable. Well, unless it's Knuckles' stages in SA2. Seriously, screw those levels. Horrible music and pretty frustrating in their own right. And I never found Planet Wisp had in Generations either. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
The Final Egg stage, is another level I found pretty tough recently. Falling of platforms. Also missing the fans and falling. into that energy or whatever it is. I died a bit on that stage. |

Actually, Final Egg is fairly easy of a stage to me. Except at one particular point that I constantly die at.

Only part i hate of final egg is amy's versions, other ones are too easy to annoy me <3 But anyway it seens like the dark gaia fight can be annoying sometimes as if you fail, you restart from the aproach with the light gaia golem |

Angel Island Act 1

Am I the only one that has more trouble with Marble Zone then Labyrinth Zone in Sonic 1? Granted Labyrinth's "Boss" is more frustrating than anything in Marble but other than that I don't find it as bad as everyone says |

I have a lot of trouble with Marble Zone. I hate Labyrinth Zone more as a stage, but Marble Zone is the more frustrating of the two. Also, Shadow, this topic is to talk about what stage frustrated you, not boss. Though I will agree, Dark Gaia is a pain and a half. |

Sonic and Raven! :3
|
Pretty much all of Knuckles' levels from Sonic Adventure 2. It all comes down to luck finding those emeralds, and trying to get a decent rank is very difficult for me to achieve. Sure the monitors give you hints, but it could still take minutes to find each emerald shard, since his levels are bigger in this game than they were in the first game. |

Angel Island Act 1
|
Sandopolis. Sandopolis. SANDOPOLIS. Those temple ghosts can go *censored*!!! I really hate that level with a burning passion. Even the music annoys me. I don't have an inherent issue with a desert theme, but everything about it, inside and out was obnoxious. |

Sonic and Raven! :3

Oh yeah another frustrating level is Sky Deck act 2 from Sonic Adventure. I can never beat that level in under 10 minutes, I always get stuck during the part when everything is sideways. >.> Also Sandopolis Zone can be annoying, however I'm used to it now seeing how i've played Sonic 3K for years now. (I still have trouble though from time to time while playing as Knuckles in Act 2... you start off in Act 2 pitch black with ghosts because Sonic triggered them ahead of time.) |

Good vibes.

Casino Park in Shadow the Hedgehog. Specifically, the "finding 400 rings" mission. UGH. Every time I die, I have to start the entire level over again. |
