Most Frustrating Levels in the Series?

I object to your claims
I think this topic speaks for itself. What level really annoys you? What level is the one that makes you rage quit the game at times? This is the topic to rant about them.

I should start this off with the ever classic Carnival Night Zone. And no, it's not The Barrel I have a problem with. That thing I think is only annoying when you don't know what to do. Once you figure it out, it becomes the easiest thing in the world to bypass. There are things that are far worse - like those stupid bumpers that send you back in narrow hallways so you are constantly trying to think of ways to get past but everything you try sends you backwards over and over again and you have to time things just right to get through. And even that doesn't really help you. There are other things I have an issue with, but that's one of the main things wrong with it to me. I also hate this one area where if you fall off a certain part, you end up being quite a ways back from where you had falling from. And since the game runs on a time limit, you can see how this can be rather annoying.

Oh yeah, I just remembered this; Any Team Chaotix mission in Heroes where you have to defeat ALL the enemies or collect ALL the keys, or blow out ALL the torches. If you miss one thing, you have to go ALL the way back to the beginning of the level. And anyone who has played Heroes knows those stages are long. I don't blame you if you spend half an hour on a Chaotix stage because you missed a few things.
I find Team Dark more frustrating. There are a few stages e.g. Frog Forest where you need to go through it at least three times because there are so few enemies on the stage.
I agree with this. I found Team Dark's levels in Heroes to be the most challenging.

What about some of the SA1 missions? I usually found the "Find all the flags" quests to be painful.

Those were bad, but those "Find the lost Chao" missions, yeah, good luck completing all of them without a guide.

^ In Sonic Heroes? Meh, it took a while but I did manage to find them without a guide.

What about finding all those casino chips with Team Chaotix? Better not fall off those bingo tables. :D

No not Heroes, SA2. The "Find the lost Chao" levels were insane! Especially the ones in space! Even with a guide, I always find myself loosing.

And I have yet to beat that Chaotix level yet.

I always have trouble with Lava Powerhouse, the second level in Sonic Spinball. Never could figure out how to get the chaos emeralds.

I also could never A Rank Metal Harbor from Sonic Adventure 2.

Really? Did you try getting on the higher path to take the rocket? There is no way you can get an A rank by only taking the regular path.

I never really had any issues with Team Dark's levels in Sonic Heroes to be honest.

Neither did I, but on some missions you have to run all over again for around 3 times, because the stage has so few enemies that aren't enough to finish it.

Precisely! Some Team Dark stages can last over 10 minutes and to my surprise that's still worthy of an A grade. No way should any stage take that long.

An annoying thing too, sometimes when you are fighting eggman, every single time he fires at you he says "Get a load of this"

^ To anyone who's confused, they're talking about the special missions where Team Dark has to kill 100 enemies. :3c

@SA1 missions: You mean people do those?

@Lost Chao missions: Some of them can be pretty frustrating. I remember Radical Highway taking me forever. What I found even more frustrating sometimes, however, were the fourth missions where you had to clear the stage in a tight amount of time. Still, the Hard Mode missions at the end were worth it~

Another hard special mission is the one where you needed to find the 10 missing chaos on sonic heroes with team choatix, some of the final chaos were on very annoying places

You mean Lost Jungle? Yeah, I mentioned that earlier.

Any mission where you have to find EVERYTHING can be pretty bothersome. Stangely, however, I found Team Chaotix's Final Fortress to be the most fun out of any team's run of Final Fortress, despite my hatred for the level overall.
