So I've had an idea for this forum that is inspired by the Facepunch forum that allows a user to rate a reply to a thread or rate the thread in general. By going to this Facepunch thread you will be able to see that at the bottom of each post, including the post that started the thread, you can rate your opinion on it. The rating system allows the user to choose between the following: 'Agree' 'Disagree' 'Funny' 'Winner' 'Zing' 'Informative' 'Friendly' 'Useful' 'Optimistic' 'Artistic' 'Late' and finally 'Dumb' As you can see in the thread, there is an icon for each rating option. For example, the rating 'Friendly' has a heart icon, and the rating 'Dumb' has an empty box icon. I believe that this might be a good idea for =SB= since it would be nice to have a feature that allows the user to share their opinion on a post. I'm not sure if the system =SB= was created on would allow this to even be possible, but if it is possible I believe it should be added as soon as possible. |

You won't get much closer, 'till you sacrifice it all.

Personally, I'm not sure about the idea. I mean, I don't really see much point in it, and if you have any thoughts or feelings about someone's post you could just say something about it? It may fit well in Shackside but otherwise, some people may take having their post being dubbed as "dumb" too seriously. ;P |

Pretty much this. If you really have an opinion on something, then you should just type your opinion out. Not just rate it and be gone. |

Yeah, nah. I've seen this on other forums. It doesn't really do much, except for hurting other people's feelings. xD |
