I don't know what your opinions might be, but another Sonic movie would be sick. What would be even better if it was actually made by Sega and wouldn't be a fan movie or something. What my question is is would you like another Sonic movie? If so, then what would you expect or want out of the movie? I know if they used the awesome animations they do from the cut scenes of the video games, it could turn out to be one awesome movie. |

Something interesting and fun? I don't know. For all its flaws, I still have fun watching Sonic The Movie (or whatever it was called), but that might be more due to nostalgia more than anything else. |

Yeah, it was just one of those movies that weren't that good, but still enjoyable. But yeah, about more than ten years without making a movie, there should be one. One that kinda goes with the Sonic story line and doesn't get sidetracked or something. One where it has many Sonic characters in it. Not saying it has to be like adventure, but falls in the lines of something that could take place in that certain theme. |

If there was ever to be a theatrical Sonic movie, it would have to have the tamest plot line possible, and by that I mean: Only the main four protagonists against Eggman with maybe Metal Sonic. No monsters, no post-Dreamcast characters, no one-shots hogging the spotlight, nothing of the sort. This is for the sake of public confidence and interest in the production as well as for the concept being to work with animated production. The more plot elements and characters you have, the more convoluted or watered down some bits of it will be which will inevitably impact quality. It would have to have a simple premise for which the company could do a lot with in terms of character development and set-pieces. To do a Heroes would set yourself up for failure. |

I would like to see a sequel to that old Sonic OST movie. It was, of course, originally going to be an anime, but it worked well as a movie. A sequel would be interesting, especially if they keep the classic style, and the elements that that movie introduced. A treasure hunting Knuckles in a hat? Yes please. |

I wouldn't be especially picky as far as visual effects are concerned... if they were going for something obviously CG (eg. anything like Pixar, instead of live-action with CG Sonic characters) they're already doing pretty well. I'd be much more worried about the voice acting.

Yes, voice acting. That's the big thing. Especially for Tails because there was only like one or two good actors of Tails throughout all the games and movie. |

I'd also be most worried about the characterization. But also the voice acting. They need whoever did Tails' voice in SA1, that was the perfect Tails voice to me, and still my favorite to this day. I've been awaiting a Sonic movie for years... Honestly it doesn't seem that far-fetched. He was already in Wreck-It Ralph, although he wasn't a main character. And Hollywood is doing re-makes and revamping old stories all over the place. And there have already been movies made out of video games, just no platformers I don't think. I just don't think that it's that far out there that it can't be done. Hopefully it does and hopefully it's good. |

^^Yes. Let's NOT bring that up. Ruined my chilhood when i did find out about how mediocre it was. but yeah, getting back on topic. A new Sonic movie would be great. What i would like is this: Live action, just like that fan-made film (Didn't see it only heard of it FYI...) only better. Voice acting, PLOX. With the OFFICIAL VA's, mind you. Tamest plot possible, as mentioned by Blaire. Nothing more, nothing less. And CANON, I mean, CANON themes in the Sonic-verse. None of this Sonic '06 shish. None of that. People would leave the theatre STAT if that happened in the movie. I think i said too much. but yeah, that's my idea for a sonic movie in a nutshell. |
