 Hmm... I actually don't know, haha. Lizard man is one of the Batman enemies that I sort of just... Dismissed, on the grounds of "Batman has tougher/cooler enemies".

Also, regarding names for Elly... I'm pretty in favour of Trix at the moment, to be perfectly honest. But those other two could be cool. xD

Edit: But, I'm more of a "Batman: the Animated Series" and movies fan. I suppose he could be a bit more formidable in the comics. xD;

 ...Lizard man is a Spiderman villain. Killer Croc is who you're talking about.

And you're right, they are more formidable in the comics. Joker gets away with killing a lot more people.

 Oops. ^^; Name mix-up in writing. Made all the worse by having an article on Killer Croc open in another tab, and I didn't even notice the mix-up, haha.

And yes, I did get that impression. I'd read the comics a bit more than I have, but I've never really gotten around to it. I've read a few and enjoyed them though, so it's a bit too bad that I haven't.

Edit: Ah. That... Does indeed look pretty formidable, haha.

 If there's one comic I recommend, it's the Hush issues. In one of them, Poison Ivy goes to Metropolis and hypnotizes Superman. They've fought before, but it's always cool to see batman punch superman in the face.

 I'll be sure to read that. I recall enjoying the Batman Superman Movie (1997) a lot, in part for how epic the fight between the two of them was. Batman is amazing, in no small part because he incorporates thinking into his fighting.
