From what I can tell its based on the manga more than the anime, at least design wise. Most of the characters that appear in it don't even have anime counterparts yet. They've only just started on Part III and it features characters all the way through to Part VIII. So, yeah. I'll let you know if I get it, though. For now it's just BlazBlue for me~
