 The Archie writers know how to weave a GOOD plot. With the cast from the comics, and the skills of it's writers, you could build one kick-butt game. All my other comments on this topic would be located in the similar threads and say something along the following lines;

Playing characters like Bunnie or Khen would be pretty awsome, and bosses like Scourge and Dr. Finitivus would be pretty awsome. And the whole thing would be pretty awsome.

The comics have better plot and more and better characters and the games. (anyone who has read the comics recently may dispute this if they can, I'm open to being proved wrong. try it.).

 Then it'd be a mess.

Also I'd dispute that the Archie writers wouldn't be any better than what we have already given that it's ultimately Sonic Team who decide what the plot is going to be overall.

As much as I don't care for the comics or the characters that appear only in the comics, I think some do deserve to be in the games. There was a game that was to take place in the SatAM world, but it was canceled. Sonic Xtreme was also another canceled game that was going to bring characters from the Archie comics to the video game world.

 Eh, it's far too late now. If the old game characters are confirmed to be as good as dead to the modern franchise, then the non-game characters are practically rotted to the bone in comparison.
