I mean, Sally is Sonic's girlfriend, and they don't have her in any games, and now that SonicX came along, they now think that AMY is right for him...AMY!???! No offense to the Amy lovers but...you've got to be kidding me! She's three years younger than him, and to see her true colors, search Sonic GX episode 8 on Youtube or Google. I heard someone mention Bunnie, who I think also deserves a place in the game. All the Sonic SatAM characters should get featured on this too. What other characters can you think of from classic Sonic shows to comics? Help me out! 0~0 (btw I have nothing against Amy ^w^) Edited by SallyAcorn, Dec 10 2012, 02:28 PM.

Sega will most likely not use the Archie characters for one simple reason, It would cost them money. So far as I'm aware Sally, Bunnie and the like are designed and owned by Archie, meaning that Sega would have to pay Archie every time they used the characters. It's far simpler and cheaper to go with there own cast of characters that are (to put it bluntly) well more established in this day and age then the Archie cast.

Actually, SEGA owns Sally and Bunnie, because of SonicSATAM which ran through 1993-1996 and came back 1998-1999. Amy is not an official SEGA character either, according to the creator of STH, who said Amy was not mean't to be with Sonic, just an extra that SonicX made look like Sonic's girlfriend, which is not the truth. Shes 12 and Sonic and Sally are 15. Now if you read my earlier comment instead of attacking me right away with Amy jazz and fan-made (which they are not, they are based off of SonicSATAM and SonicX which could be catgorized as Fan-made but based and edited the script) that I have nothing against Amy. I respect your opinion, but the topic is not over Amy, she is already in the games, the topic is why characters should be in the games.

There may be moments/things for the audience to decide, but it is nothing like that whole Taismo pairing. It's also not like it's anything new, SonAmy is about as old as SonSal. I really would love if Sally were to perhaps make an appearance, even if it was just one game. Howver, if Sally and the others were added in, they'd probably have to be different from what we see in Archie or SatAM considering the inconsistencies between them. That right there may pose the biggest problem, considering how much backlash there was at concept art for something upcoming in the comics. I said it before, but I think if anything had the potential to have Sally and Bunnie and perhaps the others (at a near spot on representation), it would have been Chronicles. I think if there had been a sequel, it could have eased the SatAM cast in and been done right. I mean at the end Eggman had taken over the planet, which could give rise to Freedom Fighters. Sonic and friends could encounter Sally and recruit them to help in one of them chapters.

The sonic Archie comics was an adaption of SATam sonic, contrary to popular belief of it being the other way around. Sega had no pull over the SATam show, if they asked for something to be done in the show, the show's creators had every right to refuse it. all sega gave them was the right to use their character, sonic. So, canonly, Sally is NOT sonic's girlfriend. Every character involved with Archie and SATam sonic that didn't come from Sonic Team in the first place were created by archie and SATam creators. Although I'm not big on it either, I could go either way. It would be nice to have a game not based on Earth though.

They tried having just about every character in 06, and it came off as really poor fan fiction. Granted, it was alright in Generations, as their role wasn't was major, but I wouldn't mind Sonic going slightly darker again. As long as it's handeled like the Adventure titles.

They're based in Japan, they probably know very little about them. Heck, there's been more reference to the Manga that the West barely knows jack about than the Western media (not that there's none, mind otherwise the chili dog gag wouldn't be around).
	Sonic Manga fanatic. Oh heck yes.
