We're not asking for the rp section to have its own moderators. That said, with the way things go/went regarding Org XIII and the RP Knights, I don't know how many people out there have the time, interest and ideas to keep such a committee alive. Just to plan small things(or big, depending on them) for like, the holidays and such. There are tons of fun and creative things people can come up with that don't consume a large amount of time planning and such. However, if you guys think it won't work, then tis fine. Haha, get it! lamjokeislame But that WAS the point of the RP Knights - to take on the challenge of helping out those who wanted to roleplay! If you saw the Knights as moderators then the power clearly went to you as that's the only thing you saw with the position granted to you. They were never mods, never intended to be. In other words, you're wrong. And as somebody who was also a founding member of O-XIII, you disappoint me. If you're saying you didn't do that when you were a Knight then hang your head in shame and may you not get a position of power again. You're meant to help people, not lord it over them.

Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	The RP Knights were installed as a means of moderating, other wise the remaining RP Knights wouldn't have turned into mods when it was decided to disband the RP Knights. When the call was made for RP Knights, it was to bring order to the RP section. That is what I stated from the start. I saw the rp section wasn't getting much attention from other mods because they were busy handling other sections of the forum. Thus, I requested that rp mods of some kind be formed, to being order. I never once volunteered to be one, at least, it was never my intentions to be one but rather just have the rp section moderated more than is was at that time. I would say, 85% to 90% of our time spent as rp knights, and this is speaking for the majority of the rp knights, was spent moderating that section because that is what it needed. As I told DF once, apologizing to him, I was loosing time to rp because I was informing newbies what we allow here, reading posts after posts, and trying to help others where I can while keeping the rp section in order, free from spam and so on. You obviously have no idea the time and effort we put into being rp knights, nor do you understand why we were formed to begin with. Having said all this, and basing this comment off of your first one, I do agree with you. We did have rp knights, to which it did not work out in the long run. I was the main one aiding and keeping up with the rp section, to which my nerves started to decrease bit by bit, thus the staff noticed and questioned my status(more like asked if I was still sane xD) To which I expressed that due to RL the others weren't as active, so the question was asked, is there a need for RP Knights if just one or two people are actually active and doing what needs to be done. The answer was simple, no, we weren't needed when we have mods that rp and have massive skills(massive skills is an understatement.) Now, if you're referring to the very start of the Org-XIII club in general, then yes, the Org-XIII was suppose to be like a committee that didn't require people to join to be mods. Ends up, the way I currently see the Org-XIII now, its just another section in the rp forum. Also, sticking with your current idea MoD, maybe what we really need is to reboot the Org-XIII(maybe give it a new name) and actual stick to the description it has, which is this Quote: This group provides help to those members who are new, want training to improve their skills, ect. We help out with what is needed for a successful Role Play. While also maintaining order in the Role Play Garden to avoid and prevent flaming, spamming, rule breaking, ect. Our Forum is in the Role Play Garden. SHORT VERSION: Your argument is partly invalid. The purpose of the Org-XIII and the RP Knights, as one of its functions, was to moderate and being order to the rp section. I have no means or intentions of running, operating, or handling the overall reboot of the Org-XIII. Nor am I volunteering DF and TUC to take on such a task. In other words, I'm not going to have my hand in this other than creating the start button, so to speak. I'll set-up the topic, then leave this project in the hands of the people of the rp realm.
