Twilight's eyes remained closed for a short while after the kiss was broken. He gradually opened them and stared at Josh. His muzzle was even more red and he had a look of ecstasy within his eyes. He was lost for words as well. His mind could barely conjure what just happened; but the Lycalo still enjoyed it nevertheless. "I..." he began. Then panic began to form within his mind and it was apparent through the look in his eyes as he looked to the sky. The sun was making its decent and Twilight was far from home. He jumped to his feet in a hurry and looked down at the canine with a solemn expression. "I'm sorry, but I must go." he told Josh, his voice having much distress. Of course he was aware of how this looked; sharing a kiss like that, then leaving in a hurry. As such, he decided to give a small explanation to be courteous. "I don't have much time, but if I don't make it back in time... alot of people are gonna get hurt. I... I like you alot Josh and I wanna continue to see you. If you'll allow me, can I find you tomorrow and tell you everything? I think you deserve to know before we see more of each other..." he hesitantly explained. He had never spoke of Nightmare to anybody, but what he told the wolf was true. Edited by True Lycalo, Feb 7 2013, 02:34 AM.

Twilight embraced the wolf with a soft hug followed by a kiss on his forehead. He smiled at Josh with a warm and blushing smile. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, Josh. Enjoy the rest of your evening." the Lycalo said. His wings induced a series of flaps which propelled the hybrid to the sky. A moderately large draft of wind would be produced as the sky blue wolf bat sped off for town at full speeds en route to his residence. He felt bad about leaving like this, but it was something that needed to be done. He let out a remorseful sigh then focused on reaching his destination. |

Twilight reached the abandoned house that was his residence. There was a couple things that made the place more lively like a couple chairs and a sofa. He set up a few of the UV lights that stopped Nightmare's reign of terror. He activated them and stared out the darkening city. His mind instantly wondered how Josh was doing. The Lycalo found himself missing the wolf. This would certainly be one of the longest nights he experienced as he would wait ever so patiently for morning to arrive. (Time skip to morning?) |

Twilight waited with infinite patience for the morning sun to rise. With much anticipation, the Lycalo headed out for his morning flight. The city was still asleep and he had an assumption Josh was as well. He would need to wait further to see the wolf, but he was getting his flight in, so he was at least happy for that. |

Josh wakes up, getting up off his bed. He stretches, and then rubs his eyes, slowly walking around his house and to the kitchen to make himself him some breakfast. He yawns, ''Gosh..I had no idea I'd be so tired...'' |

Twilight continued soaring high above the early morning sky. While he was making all attempts to focus primarily on his flight, he found himself following Josh's scent. He soon found himself above the wolf's residence where he stopped and hovered in place. He chuckled and nodded his head at his own actions. He almost felt like a creeper arriving at somebody's house this early in the morning. He saw that the lights were on. The Lycalo focused his sense of smell and determined Josh was the one inside. The hybrid gently glided downward and silently landed close to the front door. He let out a sigh before raising an arm and knocked a few times before waiting. |

"Hi yourself." Twilight greeted with a smile as he stepped inside. He briefly took a gander at the wolf's humble abode before turning his eyes to him. "Sorry to drop by so early, it's just... I didn't like leaving things off like I did yesterday." he explained, scratching the back of his head in nervousness. |
