No Freedom Fighters, or at least, not Sally, Antione, and those guys. If a Freedom Fighters group is ever established it would be under a different name.

When the comic starts, Eggman is basically in control over the world. However, as a twist to the usual comic directions, Sonic manages to defeat Eggman by around issue 25... but this isn't the last of Eggman. Eggman has to work in hiding, using more tactical and secret attacks against Sonic and his friends. This could create very interesting and new plotlines with Eggman fighting in secret.

There would be several characters from the games, but not all game characters would be present. Initially, Sonic and Tails would already be friends, and Eggman would of course be the villain. Knuckles would be introduced soon after. Nack the Weasel (maybe named Fang the Sniper? discuss) would appear, and his treasure-hunting and thug-for-hire character would affect the story. He would be a villain, but not on Eggman's side generally. Other characters would be introduced as necessary.

The planet it takes place on would be called Mobius. It is not a future Earth. Mobius has two dominant species groups; humans and Mobians. As in the Archie comics, the Mobians are anthropomorphic animals such as Sonic. There are also regular animals such as Flickies. Mobius is divided into Zones. Zones are different geographical areas - for example, Green Hill Zone is green and has hills, as we all know. Not all Zones from the games would be present and some new Zones would be created. Cities are present within the Zones, as well. The Mobian capital, Mobotropolis, would be in Leaf Forest Zone. The human capital, Central City, is not in a Zone. It is located on an island off the west coast of one of the continents, and fills the entire island, and as such is almost a Zone in itself. We will need to make a map later.

Write a script scene involving Sonic beating up Eggman. Try to make each character feel like they really do, e.g. Sonic making witty comments, Eggman being hostile, etc. At least three and at most six pages are preferred, but feel free to do more or less (just don't go crazy!)

Send the script to me in a PM. Feel free to attach examples of your writing as well, seeing your quality as a writer (especially for dialogue) can make it more likely for me to select you.

Draw a black and white image of Sonic standing in Green Hill Zone and PM it to me. It doesn't need to be too fancy, just Sonic standing around in some Sonic-like pose.

As with the writing position, feel free to send other examples of your art as it may sway my opinion.

This is a bit trickier than the previous two. The best way to submit for this is simply to show me examples of your art, in colour. I would strongly recommend Sonic themed art. You may draw new art for this submission, of course. Simply send it in a PM like the last two.
