This is quite simple. What do you seek in a boyfriend or girlfriend, physical- and/or personality-wise? Personally, well, I recently got a girlfriend.  Really, I'd go for pretty much any girl that I can be good friends with. If I can get along with them well, then they probably will like me a lot more, and vice-versa. Which is how it is for my current mate. |

Well looks are one thing, I would have to say I defently would look for is a person who loves me for who I am and won't use me. A person who would love me unconditionaly and someone I could feel like I could alk to for hours without getting board. I've gota man but this is what I'd look for in someone,a nice personality  oh yeah and don't forget honnesty

Personally, I'm not really seeking a mate. More friends would be nicer for me then a mate right now. But if I must say something, Id like to have someone who'd accept me for who I am and not change me. |

I remember the last topic about this. I still had a boyfriend at that time so my preferences were different and standards were low. It's weird how things change. Anyway, what I look for in a mate is trust, commitment, fun, great sense of humor, can cope with all my emotional stuff - which is a lot, someone who's willng to give it all. Someone who wants to listen. Someone who can make me laugh. Someone who wants to cheer me up when I'm down. Someone who's there for me when I need it, even when he's busy, isn't afraid to show his feelings for me and tell me stuff I need to hear in harder times, and last but not least; make effort for me. I also need cuddles and he should be a great cook. ;p I'm not the type of girl that cares about looks. Rather, I find it attractive when someone is comfortable in his own body. Sure, I like me some eyecandy, but not for boyfriend material. :3 But break ups are heavy stuff. Not sure if want, again. |

I'd go for someone who I can tolerate, but then again, can tolerate me. Someone that I can joke around with back and forth. A girl that I can trust and trust me. What I really want would be a girl who can take responsibility for her own actions and not lie to me like I see most girls do IN MY AREA. I'm not exactly seeking for a girlfriend because, even though I'm a teenager, and usually relationships start out with teens, but none of the girls in my area are mature enough, NOT JUST FOR ME, but to have a relationship, period. If I still lived in PA, I actually would have had a girlfriend, but since I moved away due to mental health issues, I never had the chance. What's even worse is while I was gone, she fell apart and did many things that dissappointed me. This is part of why I want trust in a girl. So they don't do something that could affect me or others. But then again, I have to admit, I'm not so trustworthy myself. That's why I'd love a girl that could tolerate me for who I am and be able to trust me. You know how most people say "I don't care what they look like" or "any girl is beautiful." Well, the part where any girl is beautiful is true. I think any girl can be beautiful. Outside or inside. If they have a loving personality, I consider them beautiful. If they look nice on the outside, yeah, they're beautiful. I don't go for girls by looks, but if a girl looks like she's about to die or has so many health problems, I don't think I can take it if they ended up getting real ill on me or ended up dying on me. It's not the fact that I don't like them, it's the fact that I'd be very sad if something would've happened. I've had a girl that recovered from Pancreatic Cancer ask me out. I only said no because she still had major health problems. Of course, that's not what I told her because it could've broke her heart, so I said something that is still true. I said I wasn't ready. |

What do I seek in a mate, hooo boy, here we go. I think confidence and a sense of humour is really attractive, someone who can strike up conversation from literally nothing and can make talks last for hours. Oh yeah, intelligence is pretty important. Someone who knows their stuff is pretty hawt~ *ahem* Moving on, honesty, kindness, caring, etc are also desirable traits in a guy. Someone who can actually tell when I'm upset and cares, that on its own will put me in a better mood instantly. :3 Cuddling is important too, obvs~ In terms of looks I'm afraid I do care a bit but I'm not entirely bothered. Like Pianta said, as long as a guy is comfortable in his own body, it doesn't matter that much to me. ;P |

I honestly don't know. Putting it to words is difficult, but basically someone who I care about and would never find an utter bore. Being interesting isn't a be-all-and-end-all or anything, but it's basically the best way to describe it. If they're the one I'd like to be with, all the things that make them that would make them interesting. Intelligence is definitely one of the bigger points, though. |

I could not have worded this any better myself. And of course, a lot of the other things people have mentioned on here: someone who's faithful, who's there when you need them; someone you can trust, get along with and all that jazz. Someone who is willing to understand and respect you, etc, etc. As for some qualities that aren't necessarily a must but that I really enjoy, I would have to say intelligence, great sense of humor and imagination. People with with creativity and imagination are always so fun and enjoyable. EDIT: And cuddling. There needs to be cuddling. |
