It's time again to take a look at the next arc for Sonic Universe. This time we get some Chaotix action!

Not much really to say with this issue right now since it just started. It's a good start for the story though and I like the Mercia Freedom Fighters for the most part. I don't remember them all that well, but they're likeable.

At first I read "Mercia" for "Mexico" then my eyes adjusted and I was like "Ooooh OK.. Mercia?" Yeah I don't know much about the Sonic Comics, I only got the very first two archive volumes.

Mercia makes me think "MERIKA!" something I say every now and again as a sorta parody/mockery of America.

I like the Mercia setting; it's about time they did some more of it. It seems like a direct parody of Robin Hood, and yes I know that is pretty much the intention.

My only complaint is that while the Mercia Freedom Fighters work well as a group, there are too few stand-out characters. I like Munch Rat for his attitude, and Bow has some potential, and that's about it.
