Yeah that's probably why they decided to remove it so it wasn't an actual cannon thing. Since there is no mention of it in any games(because of this removal) it doesn't really mean it's true. I think it's cool how in Sonic CD it has a picture of Tails saying, "See you next game". If the Sega CD had taken off we could have gotten a Sonic CD2!! I hated how you couldn't play Super Sonic in the main game like the old Genesis versions. I think it made a cool plot but it should have been unlocked after beating the final story like they were going to do or as it seems implied because of the audio file. And Kammy, how could you not want Eggman as the main character? =< The interesting thing I noted was that his original get-up were pajamas. I can't help but think if his creator intended for him to be used in some sort of wacky dreamland-based videogame, which quite frankly, sounds like a pretty sweet concept to me.
