Sacrifices to Apep: Part 1: Caution

A Knouge and Sonaze story

Sonic the Hedgehog was feeling like a vacation to Egypt. Tails said "Why there?"

Sonic replied "To see the sunbaked pyramids." Tails stared at his painting of the sphinx. Sonic looked grim. He said "Maybe something weird will happen there."

Sonic and Tails then ran to Egypt. Meanwhile, on Angel Island, Knuckles stood guarding the emerald. Knuckles decided that Sonic needed some help wherever he was going. Knuckles followed the two to Egypt. Meanwhile, Rouge was already there. She was staring at a large pyramid. It looked white and modern, with a banner reading "Stop global warming, please Apep!" Rouge chanted "Must move toward the structure"

Rouge's eyes looked like green and black swirls. Blaze was also there, and looked at Rouge, and said "Where's she going?"

From staring into her eyes, Blaze was soon hypnotized too. She chanted "Must stare at the light."

Blaze was soon headed inside the pyramid. Rouge soon followed. The door slammed shut, and a smaller one opened. Kharoom, the hypnotist, stood on a small sphinx. He said "Good job. I think the guardian would be very, very happy."

Kharoom motioned to Ismellax, the head of the matinance crew. Ismellax said "I will tell a messenger now that we have lured people into the tomb."

Ismellax told the messenger, Revelixx, that there were now two prisoners trapped inside. Revelixx then told the pharaoh. The pharaoh then said to his men "Our planet is under attack by rising tempurature. This is the work of Ra. We must please his arch enemy Apep to stop this. We must do this via a sacrifice of virgin girls."

Noratis told the pharaoh that he saw two virgin girls in there right now. The pharaoh said "Let Thutmose-Neo, the guardian, get them."

Noratis said "But how?"

Okilis, the bartender, told Noratis "Thutmose-Neo, will mummify them alive. BY that I mean he will wrap up the two virgin girls, place them in sarcophagi, and deliver them to the pharaoh. The pharaoh will then kill them by removing their organs."

Revelixx replied "It is slow, but that is what Apep adores."

Meanwhile, Blaze and Rouge stared at a pair of empty coffins, as well as one that looked very sci-fi. Atop this sci-fi coffin was a huge, bulky, bipedal, and silver clad scarab. His name was Thutmose-Neo. Thutmose-Neo proudly shouted "WHO DISTURBS MY LAIR!"

Outside, Sonic and Tails looked at the pyramid. Knuckles ran up to it and found the small door. Knuckles told Sonic about it and the two decided to check it out. They saw the bar, the pool, and the zoo. What disturbed them is how oddly modern they looked. Knuckles had a gut feeling that someone he knew was in trouble, and inside this temple. Knuckles said "Maybe we should see the treasure room."
