I wanted to make this topic as a help to a friend of mine whom I met through Youtube. She is an amazing friend, and an amazing guitar player/vocalist! Her videos are various original and cover songs, and are great fun. But sadly, for over 10 years she's been suffering from Lyme Disease. In Australia, the government and health department refuses to acknowledge or treat Lyme, and so those who have it are often unable to be treated, and are slowly and painfully killed from it. It's a very much fatal disease, and a disease that over time can leave you feeling constant pain, the likes of which most people can't so much as fathom. Emily only just got a diagnosis this past year from having blood work sent to California, and is now trying to raise around 30,000 dollars (ASU) for treatments. (ASU is similar in value to USD, not a huge difference). So I made a video to raise awareness to the general situation as well as her own, and hope that perhaps a few of you would be willing to help spread the word and support it in any way you can. It's a problem many don't even know is out there really :/ If you can, please share this video wherever you are able!
