As she ran she glanced behind her only to see the strange robot-like creature following her at slow speed once again. She thought she had lost it. But it was always there. The woman ran into the dark street, away from the horrific sight. As she ran she heard the terrifying sound of the creatures loud footsteps getting louder and louder. She came to a stop after reaching the park. She leaned down and gasped for air as the sound of the footsteps became more and more distant. A quiet sigh of relief escaped through the girls lips. As she stood back up and breathed deeply she began to hear the footsteps again. But this time they were so loud it was as if they were right next to her. She slowly turned her head to see what was behind her. And she seen the most horrifying sight. 'Oh, of course. It couldn't have been anything else." she said to the creature as it put it's metal hand out facing her chest. "You are incomplete. You're progress is incomplete. You are incomplete." the creature said, still pointing its hand to the girls chest, completely motionless. "Before I die. I would like to know what you are. And where you came from." the woman said before taking a deep breathe, awaiting her brutal depart. "We, came from you. We evolved from you. We were given eternal life, Eternal peace, We will now give the same to you. You will become like us. You will be like us. Emotions destroy you." It said, still pointing its hand at her. "I don't understand." she replied. "It does not matter. You will be given eternal peace. No longer will you feel pain or fear. We will remove pain. We will remove fear. We will take humanity by force." It said in a deeper voice. "We are the Cyber-Men. And you, will be, deleted." The creatures hand gripped onto her shoulder dramatically. Flash's of blue light formed around its grip. The woman screamed before falling down onto the wet grass with the rain constantly falling on her. She had been now given the creatures version of eternal life. She was given death by brutal force. Spoiler: click to toggle Welcome to a Doctor Who based RP. The location is set within Manhattan where the last of the Cybermen species are hiding. Stories of mysterious deaths have been found throughout Manhattan after a woman named Jasmine mysteriously died in the middle of a park. -Hint Hint- You're mission is to investigate these deaths and in the process defeat the deadly Cybermen and rid them from planet Earth. However if you fail to do this, the entire planet will be converted to a world with no emotion. The Cybermen are a fictional race of cyborgs who are among the most feared species in the universe. They are completely made of metal and contain no emotions. They capture any living creature and seal it into a suit of metal before the process of converting begins. Once the process is done the creature contains no emotions and no memories of the past. The only way they can be killed is by feeling pure emotion. Their victims can be killed by a simple touch of their hand, that would cause the victim to instantly die. Despite the fact this RP is based in the fictional universe of 'Doctor Who' from the British science-fiction television series, there will be no references towards the show whatsoever. There is no character template needed. You may start to 'play by post' as soon as you are comfy and ready to take a journey through time and space! Be sure that you have clicked on the Spoiler so you know the storyline. Keep in mind that I will be playing as the main enemy of this RP. Despite the fact the factory has been confirmed as 'safe and well-constructed' there has been reports of strange sounds coming from within the factory. Screaming and shouting can be heard when within the restricted areas, known as dangerous. The owner of the factory has not shown himself to the fellow public and has yet to make any appearances at all. It has been sarcastically said that the owner is living inside of the factory itself. Although the 'workers' who constructed the factory have confirmed his existence within a restricted area. But the truth is, there was no original owner at all. In fact, all of the 'workers' are in fact captured and taken into the factory before being brain-washed. That explains the moaning and groaning coming from within it. Once brain-washed they are given simple instructions to work on the factory and capture human subjects only to take them back to the factory where they will be converted. The leader, Or, the Cyber-leader, is the owner of the factory. He is in fact wired into the main control room of the factory. Draining his power to fuel the factory's energy used for converting machinery. Draining his power for the good of the new generation of Cybermen. Their new goal is to take humanity by force simply by capturing and converting as many people as possible, before sending their soon to come 'army' into Manhattan to kill every living thing there. Before leading their army to the next location on earth. All until each living creature is laying on the ground dead. Ready to be converted into emotionless metal men and women of terror.
