[Suggestion] Name changing recommendation

I believe that when you reach a higher rank stage you should be allowed to change your name without approval of the admins. I do not exactly understand why you do not have to seek approval of admins when it comes down to changing avatars or changing a signature. Couldn't an avatar or signature be as inappropriate as a name could be? I just think that it would be better if higher rank users were given some more trust with such things. That is pretty much all I have to say. Thank you for listening.

I just think it would be a lot easier for people to change their name if someone has registered with the wrong name or something like that. Of course that feature could be earned from getting higher rank. I would imagine those who become higher in rank were more mature when it came down to that sort of thing.

A limit like that could work just fine. You could put it to a vote between you can change with a limit or request without.

A limit rather then request would be a lot more better and also a lot faster. I am actually pending approval for my new username. And it does take awhile for it to be approved. That is why it should be done on your own standards. Of course the 'once a month limit' is a very good idea to be considered. But to be honest I doubt this topic is really going to be taken seriously.

But really, it's not like it takes all that long for a username to be approved. I mean, heck, I check that nearly every day. Although there are some members who are contented with their names and keep it for longer, there are people who change it every month or so which is hardly excessive anyway. I don't see how the current name change system has thrown forward any problems thus far, so I don't really think applying any new rules will be necessary. P:

Changed my name during holiday's such as Halloween month and Christmas, but that's about it. Color's on each of our rank's solves a bit that cliche of leaving me completely dazzled about all them name changes some folks tend to do each month. So wouldn't say it's necessarily giving us that authority changing names whenever we want to. Let admins take care of that. It's not like their ignoring you for long, unless it's, well terms of violating anything among the rules.
