Rating:T Genre:action/adventure DISCLAIMER:I don not own any Star Fox or any other characters, places, planets etc. I just own my Fancharacters May contain blood and gore DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT LIKE *caps off* (story switches from diffent view points from time to time) (un-named character P.O.V.) Chapter 0:Prologue The dim street lights was the only light I have to see my way through the rather dark streets of Corneria, It's raining but luckily I have my cloak to shield me and the pup I have in my arms from the drops of water attacking my back despite the storm he was soundly sleeping in my arms I couldn't help but too let a grin take it's place on my muzzle but that was short lived as I returned my focus back to the task at hand. Now where's that house please dont tell me they moved if he did than all this work would've been for nothing my eye's found my way too an awfully familiar blue house and the gold painted hover car was dormant on the hard concrete ground this has too be it he still owe's me for saving his life thirteen years ago I dont know if I should really do this nut I came this far and I'm more than sure he would be kind enough to take him in and raise him as his own. I sighed trying to hold back the tears that tried to make thier way to my eye lids I knew this day was coming, I again sighed wondering where did we go wrong down the family tree, I unstraped the basket that I had to tie'd around my back and set it down in front of the door steps then I carefully place the infant in the tan stray basket, I grinned at how much the basket matched his fur I took a note out of the pouch attached to the cloak, and placed it on his small chest I took one last look at the pup who had just opened his brown eyes, even in the darkest of night they still shone in the night. I rang the door bell, and had sensed someones pressence quickly making it's way to the door steps I quickly used a technique called 'flash step' which lets a person travel at high speed to one step to another the range was limited to a certain distance per use I had almost had it perfected with a few mistakes every now and then I had learned this by being a temporary soul reaper during many of my adventures across the vast multi-verse. Moments later, a blonde fured dog wearing a velvet night gown she saw the child sleeping in the basket I could've sworn I heard one of the loudest gasps that could have ever been made to be in existance she quickly scooped up the sleeping wolf in her arms as if he were her own and shut the door behind her I sensed another presence this one had an an familiar felling to it yep this most diffenently the right house glad I didn't make the wrong choice that would've gotten me into a bigger mess than i'm already in this may be the last time I see you "Farewell and good luck grandson..." was the only words I could say before fadding away. Chapter 1: Strange occurrence's (third person P.O.V) In the vast empty void set aside for the giant rocks suspended into orbit, and no matter how bright planet solar could shine it would never ilminate the hte darkness of space that would soon serve as a battle ground for the venom and cornerian forces. -xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- A loud snore could be heard from the room that belonged to a teenager the room was pitch black and the only light that would come in was the one from the red numbers that belonged to an alarm clock the current time was 6:37 which meant it would soon be time for the wade family to be wake up and attend to their daily business the house that would usually would be lively even in the morning but now with the fifth family member gone it was rather quiet now it was not because anyone died it was the felling of worry that someone would die. The father of the family who's name is Alexander he is a beige Akita inu,37 years,old he stands 5"11 in height but has gotten a little chubby over the years. He is the husband of brendete a light fur colored golden retriever she stood 5"3 tall and the shortest one in the family but also the thinnest one she is the mother of the twins named summer and autumn they were both 18 and already off to college they had their mothers fur color, their fathers hazel eyes the only diffrence between the girls was that one of them took after their fathers curved tail and one of them took after thier mothers flacid tail. in conclusion they looked exactly ali with the in height they were just a little taller than their mother both standing 5"5. And finally the youngest of the family he stood 5"6,14 years old,tan fur light brown eyes he was no other than the wolf that the mother of the family had found 13 years ago he knew ever since he was 9 years old that he did not belong in this family due to the species difference he knew he was a wolf ever since he started kindergarten it really wasn't a big surprise when his 'father' told him but another thing that suprised him was that he had learned his real name is Tsuisuto Pasu despite of learning his real name he insisted that they still call him Joshua. *Inside room Joshua(P.O.V)* I groaned,tossed and turned a little in my sleep I didn't want to wake up but I felt like I was forgetting something important I then decided to erase the thoughts out of my mind as soon as I was comfortable A loud beeping noise came from beside me my eyes pried their selve's open and focused them on the 'evil' device that we call an alarm clock the first thing that came to mind was to smash but all thoughts switched the aroma filling my room I caught the scent of maple bacon,pancakes,hash browns,and shuddered at the scent of eggs not those things hate emand never will like them it surprises me why people would eat those things they DONT know that those are baby chickens in those eggs I guess they think it's weird for me to eat bacon but not eggs but oh well I have my reason why. The sudden growling from my stomach interrupted my thought's oh well I guess i'll go eat. I climbed out my bed wearing only a black pair of sleeping shorts and a plain white T-shirt I walked down the stairs the walls werent painted but they did have a few picture's of things like the sunseting over a beach and a sea of trees that covered the muddy ground of a forest I was one step closer to the floor below when I had tripped over a skateboard and faceplanted on the tiled floor this was most definently not a good way to start your morning im more than sure if summer and autumn were here they would be the first to tease me then I would get a lectured a little by dad on how I should be more careful when and look where I'm going then mom would try and comfort me like a little baby and I would just feel even more embarrassed about the situation.But they all were gone the twins live in a dorm together at college dad went to go join the cornrian army most likely as a technician for the defense system and mom had got a job working as a nursing assistant so she's not home until 11:00PM. I made my way into the kitchen looking for a plate with my name on it I didnt see it anywhere now I started to look in the refrigerator nope not there either I could've sworn that I smelled breakfast oh well I guess I can't ponder. What time is it, I quietly ask myself. I look at the clock on the wall 6:50? time goes by fast I only had 40 minutes to get dressed and groom my self properly which was more than enough time. I ran up stairs and into my room changed into the school uniform a navy blue shirt, khaki pants, and the optional tie though I never would wear them sometimes when I think about my school's choice of clothing could be rather bland. I then walked into the restroom brushed my teeth, and fur including my soft tail. Hurried back down stairs yet again oh wait I had to put some shoes I. sighed and trudged back upstairs and on a pair of blue and white sneakers. I grabbed my backpack which was patiently waiting for me next to the front door I started down the street the bus stop wasn't so far away I actually enjoyed taking in the scenery around me in the neighborhood, the beautiful maple tree's the darkish blue sky that you would only be able to see at a certain point in the day but what I enjoyed most our neighborhood it's not as busy as it would be in some of the city's so you wouldn't have to worry about getting hit by a car but the house's weren't as big as the one's in the city and crime rate wasn't as high. I was nearing the bus stop but stopped and locked at what was blocking my way road blocks but why? next to the obstacles where to soldiers both of them were brown hounds dressed a clad green uniform the badge they where wearing signified that they are soldiers from the cornerian army I had a confused look on my face apparently the soldiers caught it and said that the roads were closed and that they was no school because of the upcoming. At first I thought I was happy but then realization struck Izan a red factor canary who also is my best friend lived not to far down the street was trapped behind the road block. "wait what about the people behind this place what will happen to them"I asked "they will be relocated into a hotel room in the city"one of them said I nearly fell on the hard cement ground I was standing on "why are they being relocated to a hotel room when they have perfectly good house's to stay in?" "that's none of your business" "I believe it is my business if my friends involved" "it's not now go home or we'll remove you by force"the second soldier finally spoke his voice gentle but had that hint of seriousness. I sighed in defeat what could I possibly do to change their minds I reluctantly turned around and walked back home I was really getting tired of going back and forward. As soon as I walked in my house I heard a pot fall on the floor in the kitchen could it be a thief? I ask my self. no that's impossible the alarm system was armed on I looked to the wall next to me to see the security system disarmed they didn't even kick the door in wait a minute could he be the one who ate my breakfast this morning... wait i;m worried about breakfast and theirs some random stranger in my house. I ran into the kitchen no one there the window over the sink I checked in the bottom of sink to see if he oe she where hiding in there no here either unless I walked over to the pantry and slowly opened it I jumped back in shock at what I saw in there. |

Chapter 2: Awakening the truth (still Joshua's P.O.V) He stared back at me I stared back at him it felt as if his golden eyes burned their way through my very brown eyes and into my soul strange I dont feel alarmed even if he broke into my house wait...HE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE. I opened my mouth but was quickly cut off by him chuckling a little he stepped out of the pantry dusting off his gray hoodie, black pants,white fur, and a neckless with a ruby colored gym in the shape of a flame was hung around his neck I he was taller than me but I wasn't frightened just because he was 5 inches taller "you know" he started I imediatly sensed the arrogance in his voice "if I were a real robber you would be dead by now" "real robber what are you talking about and what exactly is your definiton of a robber"I asked "my definition of a robber is some one who breaks and enters in someones house and takes their precious belongings but im not here for that." "so what exactly are you here for?" I saw his eye brow twitch. "dont question me I dont know why she wants me to watch over you dont even seem that special or like your in a good state of mind either in the matter because if your were you came so unprepared to face an intruder and also you seem unaware of the fact that you have an alarm since you always forget to activate it" was he scloding me? and how does he know that I dont turn the alarm on. "are you some sort of mega stalker?"I asked with a worried expression mainly because I dont want some one following me around all 24/7 '...NO she told me to keep watch of you she thinks that you could be a-"he paused I couldn't get a good read on his facial expression "Its near he said" I gave him a confused glance I started to say are you insane or somthing near suddenly the air was filled with screaming, sounds from blasters firing,and was that a roar. The robber or stranger as I should call him quickly darted out the entrance of the house I followed close behind (third person P.O.V) It didnt take long at all for the white wolf to see what was causing trouble he came face to foot as a giant towered in front of him it was jet black, sharp pointed bone colored horns stood on top of its head it also had purple tatoo like symbols covering its whole body it had the appearence simular to an ogre his beady blood red eyes stared hungrily at the people below it. 'thats a big one' the wolf thought to himself 'but how am I supposed to fight with so many people around and where are the soldiers I thought they where supposed to be putting up an effort to help some people' "cowards"he said to himself Joshua could clearly see the giant, it really wasn't that hard he had a look of terror on his face mentally scolded himself on why he came in the first place, but somthing inside him pulled him to the beast like a magnet. He noticed something else the beast was now staring directly past every one and some how picked him out of the crowd with a thunderous roar which only cause people to panic furthur it charged towards him completely ignoring the white wolf below him everyone joshua started to turn around and run it was already too late to do that it was even more easier for the giant to get to him because the streets were now empty he cursed his adoptive parents for having to live in such a small neighborhood. His attempt to flee was short lived due to the fact that the giant had larger feet and had to take a couple of steps to get to him with one hand the giant quickly scooped joshua up with one hand it bought him up to his eye level he was to paralized with to even try to resist fear I FOUND YOU Joshua heard a voice say it sent chills down his spine he didn't know wheather it was the giant or something else but he heard the voice "INFERUNO YARI" the giant's hand that he had joshua firmly gripped burst into flames it roared out of pain and let go of the wolf he was holding. The flames had left a hole through its hand Joshua was sent plumiting down to the earth below him he closed his eyes and waited for the white light to take him to the other world... 'this is taking forever is death teasing me or am I already dead?' Joshua thought to himself he felt somthing hot on his face he slowly opened open eye to see that he was staring into a fire his eyes widened in shock "WHAT DID I DO SO WRONG TO END UP IN THIS PLACE"he yelled not speakig to anyone or so he had thought "what place are you talking about?" he looked up to see the white wolf he had just recently met. he noticed the huge change in the appearence of his clothes he was wearing a red haori that had curved ribbon like threads there was also a imprint of a phoenix on the back of it at the end of it he also had long metal claw like weapons attached to his hands and feet*1. He had a look of amusement mixed with seriousness mixed on his face "why did you come here its dangerous"he said. Joshua gave his are-you-seriously-going-to ask-a-stupid-question-like-that look "ugh, never mind listen ill take care of him you just go find somewhere safe to hide he used the flames that suspended him in the air to propel hiself downwards to the ground he litteraly tossed Joshua on the rough dirt beneth them. 'I swear its like hes trying to kill me but I quess I should be greatful that he threw me in dirt and not concrete but who exactly is this guy ' he thought He accelerated to the giant who was still trying to recooperate from the blast of flame the hole in his hand still smoking the wolf extended a hand "INFERUNO YARI"he yelled once more a long spear like weapon apeared in his hand the weapon its self was on fire he he threw it at the giant aiming for its head in resoinse the giant raised one of his massive arms to block the fatal blow like the one in his arm antother hole took its place on his arm. it didnt seem to faze him it stood perfectly still "whats it doing" the white wolf said to himself he decided to end the poor seemingly brain dead beast's suffering. He exetended his hand "INFERUNO Y-"he stopped to look at his hand a black hand was attached to it he raised another arm but another hand latched onto it he began he tried to move his legs but sighed when he realized they too where bound by the hands. He looked to the ground and saw a purple vortex in the ground with the arms extending from it he also saw four more hands extend from the portal and dash straight for Joshua. "TSUISUTO INFRONT OF YOU"said the white wolf. Joshua was stuned to hear his real name being called by a total stranger but by the time he reliazed the shadow arms where coming towards him it was already to late for him to avoid them they grabbed hold of him and started to drag him towards the vortex. (Joshua's P.O.V yet again) I was being dragged by these things I looked up at the white wolf and apparently he was in the same predictament I felt stupid for not paying more attention mayby he was right mayby I should think more I noticed that I was being close to the purple vortex I started to panic and immediatly started to scream for help the soldiers are never here when you need them I thought General Pepper whould make wiser decisions as to what men he puts in his army. I cried out for help one more time no one came to my plea I noticed something about the giant it opened its mouth and purple particles started to form in front of it what was it about to do. The particles soon formed a purple circle he aimed it at the wolf he had captured a look of confusion took its place on my face consusion turned into shock when I was hanging on the edge of the ground trying not to fall into the hole in the ground then I noticed something the giant had stoped charging particles and fired it at the wolf my eye's widened my mind could barely comprehend at what had just happened. My eyes are open. Vision is blank. Im struggling to control my heart rate. All I see around me is darkness. Death was all around me I couldn't see anyone and I'm more than sure they couldn't see me I'm either dead or close to it. I felt something cool brush against my face i didn't realize I opened my eyes I know that I had them open something must have closed them for me I walking down a familure boardwalk people with people around me the neon lights flashed in my eyes and the stars in the sky where shining brighter than ever it must be a festivale of some sort but what are we celebrating for dont they know that they have a monster not to far away from here. "mommy mommy can I go ride the big ferris wheel!'I heard an energitic voice ring from behind me I turned around to say a golden retreiver right behind me she was wearing a pink dress she held the hand of a small pup his fur was tan like mine had light brown eyes like me... HE IS ME. but how is that possible theres only one of me there cant be two of me unless I somehow wnet back in time. the mother just smiled "ok but this is the last ride but then we go find the wtins and go home ok" my mother without a doubt I knew that was my mother that unbelievebly kind heart and a voice to match so if im in the past then what's going on in the present and how did I end up here it didn't matter to me I wanted to keep following myself. After walking for 10 minutes we finnaly reach the brightly lit farris wheel they gave a duck two tickets in order to get in the gate I stopped realizing I didnt have any tickets. I suddenly sensed something evil in the air I shuddered and looked around to see the something hiding in the shadows i couldn't get a good look at it when it jumped on top of the faris wheel its one of those monsters again the clouds of mind had lifted I began to realize what happened on this night mother dies on the farris wheel. "WAIT NO DONT START THE RIDE"I yelled at the conducter he seemed to completely ignore me I reached out to grabn him only to see my hand phase through him I looked at it shocked. Wait mayby I could use this as an advantage I ran towards the gate just as I suspected I phased right through it I started to climb the neon wheel to get to the monster it was to late it jumped down and headed straight for young me mom had pushed young me out of the way just in time as it neared the ground everything went blank again. I remember now what I promised myself that day... I promised myself that I whould protect everyone from these beast and I failed... I couldn,t save that person... but I can... AVENGE HIM! **************************************************************************** (Third person P.O.V) From the vortex that had nearly swallowed him a blue light poured out of it destroying the portal completely and making the giant stumble back a figure emerged from that light he was wearing a blue colered kimono, , the imprint of a dragon on the back of it, and his sword had a weird shape as the it had silver hair like threads coming from the hilt completely ignoring the towering beast he walked over to the crater where the white wolf lay he was wearing his normal clothe's which was torn and had multiple scratches,bruises,and cuts but he was still breathing. 'Tsuisuto lets finish this in one blow' said boy was the only one who chould hear this voice speak to him nodded his head as another vortex apeared behind him in another atempt to grab him sliced them in half and they dissapeared into thin air the gaint started to prepare another lazer 'repeat after me and you will win this battle trust in my power and it will lead you to victory' "Im ready"Tsuisuto said. 'Doragon'. "Doragon" his blade started to glow. 'Shainingu'. "Shainingu"blue aura started to flow to through the blade the giants attack was complete as the same sphear that had nearly killed the wolf was finsished charging. 'Burasuto'. The giant fired his laser. "BURASUTO" all the built up energy realesed it's self and took the form of a dragon it clashed with the giants attack and purple and blue sparks flew every where the strength from the two attacks shattered all the windows in the houses that where still standing at least most had been destroyed way before the battle even started. "when ever you die..."Tsuisuto started "tell your master or wherever you things go I will find hin and I will kill him"he said coldy after those last words the dragon had over powered the gaint and tore through the energy it took the gaints head off and said giant doubled over and being beheaded Tsuisuto got to see what demons blood look like it was jet black like the giants skin color "what isn't black with these guys(no ratial pun intended)"he said to himself . "you could say that again"a voice said weakly from behind him Tsuisuto turned around to see the laying down on the hard concret. "I guess Fenikkusu was right you where one of the six gaurdians"he said "Six gaurdians care to elaborate further because I have no idea on what you're talking about" "not right now my body still hurts, my vision is getting blury, and i'm lossing alot of blood right now..."he passed out. Tsuistuo put his sword back in its sheathe and it glowed and all his warrior clothes disolved into tiny blue particles and forged wit his sword to create neckless with a blue crystal water droplet was attached to it. 'call out to me whenever you need me my name is ryoga takeshi the dragon of water' the voice said. Tsuisuto picked up the wolf and dragged him to his house the windows where all shattered he opened the front door without dropping the snow colored wolf. He laid him carefully on the floor and went to go get a white sheet, pillow,and first aid kit he carefully laid him on the makeshift bed he told himself there was no way he wasnt going to let him stain the beds or couch with blood he took the took a cloth and applied some clear medicine on it he rubbed the now damp cloth on the wounds so that they wouldn't get infected then he took out the bone colored bandages poured some medicine out of a brown bottle and carefully applied them to where the cuts where the deep cuts were. Tsuisuto took a step back and admired his handy work he sighed and decided to sweep up the bits and piece's of glass off the floors. *4 hours later* The white wolf opened his eyes slowly most of the pain he felt earlier had gone away it took him a little while to finally realize where he was. Deciding he was well enough to move he slowly got up from his resting place. He followed the sounds of a T.V. to find Tsuisuto sitting on the couch one could tell that he was in deep thought because he either didn't realize it or didn't care that he was awake. "Hey Tsuisuto you okay?"he asked. said person looked up "I have questions to ask you"he said "oh yeah what are they about" "well for one how do you know my real name while everyone except my family knows me as Joshua. question number two what is a gaurdian. question number three what did we fight earlier today. question number four whats your name." the wolf sighed well for your first question every time you leave to go to school I am free to do whatever I please without anyone knowing. Like this morning I cooked breakfest and you thought it was for you"he finished the last sentence snikering. "But to get back on track I went into your room cause I was bored went through your personal belngings and found a note in one of your drawers I read over it and found out your real name and thats how I know your name." Tsuisuto gave him the 'wtf' look " question number two there are six qaurdians that control one element as you know I have fire, you have water we are chosen by a spirit I have phoenix and from what i've seen you have a dragon I dont know the other spirts but I do know the rest of the elements are earth, wind, shadow and life." "but why are their gaurdians in the first place what are we supposed to gaurd" "that will be answered in question three the beast monster or which ever you want to call was a demon the come in from the underworld through one of the portals that tried to drag you in today why they targeted you the most is unknown to me but what I don know is that were suppsosed to defeat the king of demons." "and for your forth question my name is Mikazuki Hikari." "can I ask one more question" Mikazuki sighed "go ahead" "is it possible for demons to affect your memories because they took away my memory of my mother diying" "It could be possible that the emotions of one of your family died mixed with the influences of the demon energy could have set you in a state of denial mayby even in a state of insanity thats my best guess but before you ask demon energy radiates from all demons they feed off of peoples negative emotions but some even kill and eat their souls note that this is how demons reproduce." Chapter 3: What happened to peace? PART ONE (Joshua/Tsuisuto's P.O.V) I sat on the soft queen sized matress that belonged to me in my room I lay there resting my sore muscles from the cleaning and boarding up the windows I looked over to my alarm clock 11:30 P.M. even though I was exaushted and out of strength I wasn't any where near tired the thoughts of the nealy learned information drifted in and out of my mind. *two hours earlier* "So how do you feel about all of this you know learning that your mother died after all these years?"Mikazuki asked out of the blue it ruined my train of thought. To be honest I really wasn't really sure if I wanted to talk about the subject especialy to someone I just met today when I think about though I see a change in his personality it was if that giant knocked all that cockyness out of him I guess I chould accept the temporary theropy. "to be honest it dosen't feel real at all its as if I have been living in a world full of gaps filled in with false memerories."I started to feel a sting of sadness in my heart. Mikazuki took a moment I guess he thought about chosing his next few words carefully it did not matter to me what was said I couldn't reverse the damage that was caused. "I um...have to go its getting pretty late and I guess i'll see you later"with that he picked up that neckless and torn hoodie and left. That was rude I didn't run away after he ansewered my question well I guess this is different since this is my house. *end* I let out a big sigh, all this complaining is never going to get me anywhere I said to myself. "It sure isnt I dont know why youre so depressed this isn't like you at all" I nearly jumped out my skin "R-ryoga is t-that you"I ask mentaly scold my self for studdering. "of course who else could it be no one else is here with you right" "no but still... wait how do you know what i'm like you;ve only known me for I dont know five or six hours"I said with a puzzled expresion on my face. "you dont know do you" "dont know what"yet again im confused about things that go on in my life. "my spirit is born along side yours thus forming a spirtual bond between us. We usualy stay asleep until a threat from a demon arises like today or in rare cases the owner finds out about his or hers gaurdian spirit and travels to the inner world of that and awkens the spirit thier self" Did he just say what I think he just said if he wakes up because of demon attack than he should been awoke because of what happened seven years ago something wierd is going on and I dont think Ryoga knows so I guess its up to me to figure all this out but how? A light bulb went off in my head "so how would I gain acess to one of these inner world's?"I ask trying to sound casual. "why would you like to know that there's no reason to" he said with a little suspicion hidden somewhere in those words "because I think I deserve the right to see what goes on inside my mind" there was an errie silence for little while until he finally spoke. " You should already know what goes on inside your mind..." "You know what I meant so dont try and play dumb" "I'm not playing dumb just being 'real' as you mortals say" I raise an eyebrow at that statement wondering how in the world he would know how to say something like that if he's just now waking up after 7 years. "Whatever but just so you know I'll find a way there wether you like or not" I say feeling that rest had made its self apparent I slowly start to drift off to sleep. ****************************************** I woke up with a loud yawn I started to wonder why I yawned in the first place I looked to the clock on the side of me 6:45 A.M it read I thought the point of turning off the alarm on it was not to wake up at that time I guess my body must have gotten used to waking up at this time i shrugged it off and decided to go shower off. took my precious time I needed it after that battle yesterday hopefully I wont have to fight another one of those things today. Afterwards I put on a pair of black pants,white shirt,and a blue vest to match I chuckled to myself a little the colors I dreesed in reminded me of how I looked yesterday. I didnt feel like making a homecooked meal for breakfast so I grabbed my wallet and decided to go to a diner nearby. As soon as I walked outside I jumped back yet again something had suprised me there was a crowd of civilaiance and Cornerian soldiers everywhere they where surronding the crater made by Mikazuki. "Hey whats this all about" I say out loud they all turned to me I noticed one soldier motioned for me to get inside I shot him a confused glance one person yelled get him. Me? Get me for what I didn't do anything wrong? I turned around went right back in the house lucky for me that the windows were boarded up. I lock the both locks on the door and slide the latch that didn't stop them I heard the soldiers trying to sotp them it didn't sound like they were making much progress. Well at least there making an atempt to do something. "RYOGA WHATS WRONG WITH THEM" I yelled not really caring who heard me not that it mattered. "I have no clue what could be wrong what those people I dont sense any signs of demons anywhere so that cant be it do you think it may have something to do with yesterday" He could be right. No he is right I dont know why they are after me though I didn't do anything wrong I saved their lives and this is how they repay me? How ungrateful. "well Ryoga since your safe inside the inner world you wouldn't happen to know what I could do to escape now would you?" "hmm I think I have an idea but go put the Seishin no omamori on then I will be able to help you" "the what?"I ask. "THE NECKLACE JEWEL CHARM WHICHEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT NOW HURRY BEFORE THEY BREAK DOWN THE DOOR" "OK OK YOU DONT HAVE TO YELL" I sprinted up stairs and into my room I found the blue jewel and sliped around my neck. "now what?" I ask im expecting the battle outfit to appear like before nothing happened. I heard Ryoga let out an annoyed sigh "say realease and my whole name" He didn't have to catch an attitude because he wasn't very clear on what he meant by call me oh well "realease Ryoga Tekashi"I say the jewel started glowing and I was engulfed by the light it soon fadded away and I was in the same warriors clothes but I noticed something my sword was alot smaller that it was and it had a ribbon hanging from the end of it. Ryoga didn't waist anytime explaining the next technique. Step one was to open a window. Step two was to focus all the energy I had into my feet. Step three release all that energy. After step three I was propelled into the air I looked down the sight was amazing it felt as if I was flying "hey Ryoga why didn't you tell me I could fly?" "you cant fly you only jumped" Gravity started to take its toll it forced me down to the world below so this is how its gonna end I closed and waited for my inpending doom. Finally I hit something it wasn't the ground no it was too cold and the wind was blowing extremly fast. on one of the famous cornerian fighters oh just my luck. I look back to see another one of the well known soldiers. I couldn't quite read his facial expression was it surprised,confused,scared,astonished,and mayby anger? He seemed to be looking past me as if I didn't exist, I wave at him a little still nothing. Why does this remind of something else hmm... I wonder why. I decide to take a resting spot on the aircraft I didn't even care that I was at the risk of falling off it sure beats fighting through that angry mob. "Hey ryoga why do you think those people wanted to bash my brains just now" I ask not caring that the pilot was right by me I doubt he could hear me anyway. "It may be becuase of what happened yesterday with the demon attack the other day im still not totally sure since I dont know what drives your species to do what they want" well that was a start to get my brain thinking at least but what could've triggered this anger it dosen't make sense at all if I were to have a crowd I would at least expect it to be a happy one for saving thier butts yesterday even though I did cause damage throughout the whole neighborhood at least nobody died right? "Oh hey Ryoga I have another question to ask" "what is it" "its about the sword I have right now why is it so small the other one I had looked way more cooler than this thing" "well thats because of your current energy level it was increased by the way you felt when you had to relieve that event need I say more you should get the point of where this is leading to" I knew what event he was talking about but really didn't have to act like that I wonder what could be wrong with him. My mind started to go diffrent places I was starting to consider taking my chances with the people i hadn't realized how long we have been up here could it have been minutes or hours. Where exactly is this thing going. My questions were answered when I layed eyes on a large base in the distance military most likely. Fighter cratfs were entering and exiting why they were leaving was beyond me. We slowly made pulled in the landing area which was like a long street I looked down as the yellow lines zoomed past me the tires that had suddenly decided to make an apearence screeched as it made contact with the black ground below. He slowly pulled in to what I assumed was a garage since it housed fighter planes simular to this one some though I couldn't recognize. When I noticed he was going a speed safe enough to jump off I did so landing nearly perfectly on my feet. Note that I said nearly because I had fell to my knees on impact. I let a groan excape my lips being a gaurdian of the element I didn't expect to have the power to completly nullify pain but I should at least have some sort of resistance, after all Mikazuki withstood a blast head on and even made a crater in the concrete and he's still alive. No more complaining I stood up slowly and decided to do a little exploring. "wait Tsuisuto" and here we go starting the calling of my other name. "what is it Ryoga"I ask my vouce laced with annoyence "dont you feal that presence that Mikazuki guy's here somewhere" "No I cant but apparently you can so does he work here or someting?" If he were I front of me he would have facepalmed that if he had hands or does he? I dont know i'll save the question for later. "where is he exactly?" "you still don't know how sense the presence or energy of others do you dont worry i'll teach you right away" what is he going to zap the information in my brain or is he going to explain in the step-by-step fashion again. "first close your eyes and picture that person in your mind" I did I was told a image of that white wolf appeared in my mind. "now focus on that image and concentrate" I did as I was told and finally got a lock-on his energy and started to dash off in that direction when again someone or something throws a monkey wrench in my plans for the 4th time this week. "I'm tellin' you Charlie the wieght distribution was thrown off while I was on my way back here I could've crashed" someone said most likely the pilot who's fighter plane I hitch-hiked on a few minutes ago wait... Was he callin me fat? "And i'm telling you that there isn't a problem with your plane" "If you say so but if I crash it's all YOUR fault" I disregarded the insult unknown to the speaker and walk past both of them I knew they couldn't see me. did I care? No I could use that to my advantage later when I feal mischievous. I walk to a metal door the closet route I could take to get to Mikazuki I didn't see a handle so it must be automatic. I stand there waiting for it to open never once did it budge io guess this whole no one can see you thing is not all that great considering that machine operated devices are completely useless to me. I heaved I sigh out of my chest and drummed my fingers on it to my surpise they actually made contact with the metal that gave an idea. I un-sheathed my sword and jammed it in the left side of the door.using all my strength I slowly opened the door with the sword. Once an entrance big enough for me to slip through I took it. The door behind me shut itself behind I could hear the technician,scientist,or whatever he was agreeing to take a look at the pilots plane speaking of technicians I wonder if I could find dad around here somewhere. I raise an eyebrow in that direction not that it would mater anyway I turn around and bump into something I look up. Startled I jump back this was begining to become secound nature for me the thing that frieghtned me was no other than the person I was looking for Mikazuki. "What are you doing here" He asked rudely it seem's he also has personality changes like a certain dragon I know. "well its because of a weird turn of events no big deal though"I said trying to sound casual about what happened today. "let me guess a riot outside your house" "Mayby" "that explains why you released the sprit oh and if I were you I would hury and seal it back that attracts demons you know" and suddenly i'm on his good side again what is with this guy? I did as I was told and focused a bright light englufed me and now I was in my normal clothes again the white flash of light was new to me though. "So Mikazuki what exactly are you doing here" "Research on demons since I lack the the resources to do so I had to bring the subject up to the Cornerian military" "And they just believed you?" "No it took alot of convincing and evidence do you know how hard it is to contain a demon its not an easy task at all but lets not get into that subject I have some news to tell you" My ears perked up to this news? For me? I'm flattered. "After what you told me last night I began to hunt down some information and clues about the demon that you had encountered that night you were out with your mother. this specific type of demon is harmless the real threat resides in the imp like creatures it leaves behind. These creatures have the unique abillity to latch on to its prey's soul attacking it directly though they are every fragile to the point where you can get rid of these creatures easily." "ok so what does this have to do with me if it is so easy to kill" "see they have the uncanny ability to wipe the host's memory and replace them with false ones which is the reason why it wont ever be noticed until the host's soul is corrupted. You on the other hand had a diffrent turn of events you were never corrupted even after seven years you only suffered the memory replacing symptom the only reason I think you still arent a demon on a rampage by now is because-" He was cut off by the loud blaring of an alarm the corridor that we were in was now filled with scientist, soldiers,and other people.
