Doesn't count with the Michael Bay's version, just referring to the old one. No wonder that it failed, around it's fairly bad concept. They've already become mutations, why further boast what have made em out memorable turtle characters. Just repeating my self, pitiful by a long shot.

But I think perhaps the joy that children were given from that show has sort of gone off ever since the newest movie. I've heard rumours of a new movie in the making where they are changing the back-story. They are going to make it so their no longer mutants. They are now Aliens. So it will be like, Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles. Doesn't sound right. But yeah. Their changing the back-story. I think that may have an effect on the products since all of the products made so far are titled as 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' So changing that from Mutant to Alien would make it sound quite weird and also effect the sales of the older products for future reference. But I'm happy to see that they are attempting to make a long awaited come back after so many years of hiding in the shadows awaiting for an award.

This actually looks like it might be in 'so bad it's good' territory for me. It completely screws around with what the turtles are all about and makes it a super-sentai-esque show, but part of me can actually dig that. I'd probably watch it for curiosity's sake. Oh Japan, you so wonderfully crazy~
