So, what are the most pointless things you have done in a Sonic game? I can list a few for myself. -Completed Sonic 2 without using the spindash. -Beat Sonic's levels of Sonic Adventure without using the homing attack. -Beat Sonic's and Shadow's levels of Sonic Adventure 2 without using the homing attack. -Getting all of the silver medals in Sonic Adventure 3 -Played Sonic Jam for the Game.com (using an emulator, but still.) Must be tough, but I know the first level can in both games. |

Yep.
|
I think it is possible to do the levels without the homing attack, if you use some tricky spin dashing. |

It was possible, yes. I was going to do the same with Shadow the Hedgehog, but I quit partway through because the enemies have lifebars. |

My! That's a pretty snazzy performance there!
|
Never boost in Colors. Makes the gameplay double in time lol |

Played through Generations with the music off. It makes Rooftop Run really creepy, because it's so dang quiet. Same with City Escape, though not quite as much there. |

I object to your claims
|
I once tried to see if Unleashed really was a 'boost-to-win' fest by boosting only when I absolutely had to. But then I gave into temptation and used the boost. |

Those who do good, do...
|
two pointless things I did in the sonic games was: 1. try to find ALL the keys in Shadow the hedgehog (god the keys are SO hard to find!) 2. collect all the chaos emeralds in Sonic Colours DS |

Angel Island Act 2
|
I created a Chaos Chao in the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure using a Chao I had slapped around a few times in the past. After he came out of his cocoon and looked all neat, I hit him once just to see what would happen... and he immediately died. All that work, wasted. ![]() At least I learned a valuable lesson: Chaos Chao aren't *really* immortal in SA, they just won't die from old age. |
| I love programming! I work at Mommatown as a programmer on sites like Vincent Martella's, Don Leslie's and IPO Boutique. When I'm not doing that I'm usually writing game mods. <3 | |

Marble Garden Act 1

Beat majority of the Sonic Heroes levels with Speed characters only (Mostly possible, some stages gives you no choice but to switch.) Run away from the truck on City Escape with Omochao in hand Try to beat every enemy on Sonic Stages (SA2:B) using ONLY magic gloves. Try to beat Treasure Hunting levels without runnung, only gliding for movement. |
