Although this fanfic has a general outline and plot, at the end of each chapter there will be two to four options to choose from. Depending on which option is chosen the most will determine which path the story will go. These choices can be as simple as 'will Sonic pick up the rock, yes or no.' Or the choices will be deep choices, such as 'what will happen when they both use chaos control? Both emerald and stone shatter, a warp hole is open that leads to [insert place here], a time blast is released and brings them back in time, a time blast is released and brings them forward in time.' These of course are just examples, but the choices at the end of each chapter will be similar to these. I'll be posting each chapter weekly, so everyone has about a week to pick which choice they would like to see take affect. I'll let everyone know if I plan on doing a chapter earlier or later. I hope you all have fun with this, and I hope you all enjoy. Data Log: The Fifth Element Myth "What a wondrous find this is!! More glorious than anything I've ever encountered! More devastating than any of my former plans. I can not help but grin at the thought of unleashing such great power onto this pathetic glob that hangs in the mist of space! Such raw and uncontrollable energy! No greater evil can ever take it's place! But I, Doctor Eggman Nega, will finally unleash this dark being, and wield it's power within my grasp... Dark-Fright, an ancient evil that was cast into the Twilight Cage because of its overwhelming power. It was dragged in by Argus after fighting with it. It only lost because four elemental heroes intervened, and encased Dark-Fright inside of a planet sized mass. But these minor details are not important to me. How it ended up in the Twilight Cage is lost history. How to awaken and harness the power of Dark-Fright is simple and effortless! The only obstacle that stood in my way was getting inside the Twilight Cage. At last, after searching through old flies and stored data, buried in years of history from the time of Dr. Robotnic, I have found the solution. I managed to recollect lost blue prints, files, and data that was once lost. I uncovered plans and details of a machine that he built, with the aid of Miles Tails Prower, in order to travel into the Twilight Cage. I have removed the wall that was set before me, and nothing will stand in my way from obtaining the ultimate destructive power of Dark-Fright himself! That is... Unless I ensure the other part of this myth never takes action... Four elemental heroes rose up and challenged Dark-Fright. Together they brought forth the fifth element being, the true conqueror of Dark-Fright... This doesn't change my plans in any way. For I know who the fifth element warrior is. I'll portray myself as Argus, and drag him into the depths of the Twilight Cage... My plan will not fail... And once I have this great power, this great force of evil, I'll crush the fifth element heroes, and permanently seal their fates in the grasp of Dark-Fright's terror!! Seven Chaos Emeralds, Seven Sol Emeralds, Five Thunder Stones, and Five Chaotic Stones are all I need to obtain my ultimate power... The world will soon crumble at my feet...
